Yes, you see, I noticed there was not a thread talking about Rebecca yet, so I made one. Come here to talk about her art and the like. What's your favorite Guay art? Mine is either wonder or predict. (I think that's the name...)
I actually just used rebecca guay on my art final.... I had to talk about 5 artists... I picked John Avon, Brom (a friend had been talkin about him the day before) rebecca guay, piro(from megatokyo) and the guy who did bleach (tite kibu or kubo or something, I always mess up his name)
yeah, Guay is probably the best magic artist still around, although I do like a lot of avon's landscapes
Yeah, Avon draws beautiful lands. I wonder what a Guay land would look like, if one existed...
I would love to see a guay land... I figure it would be an island though because of the flowing color of water.... She could make it completly beautiful
I love her Dark Ritual.... And Rebecca Guay will be at the BoK prerelease here in Atlanta Georgia... so I'm going to get my Dark Ritual signed by her... I'll probably get my Vernal Equinox and Sustaining Spirit signed as well... because they're rare.
I'm gonna get myself a playset of each of these and wear them around my neck all around campus. The ladies will be all like 'Ooohh.....is that a....Boros Garrison you're wearing?!?!'. I'd be all like.....hells yes.
I love Rebecca's art, and I always have...It's just so unique and her own...

Lies! -I'm Buffy Summers, town tracker. I used my ability on you and saw that you didn't use any abilities before the game started. My flavor is I was sucked through a mysterious space-time portal and I'm here to kill all the vampires, and my tracking ability is a combination of my Slayer and Native American skills.

!!! :love2: You're so lucky! Be sure to ask her about any upcoming projects, or if she's participated in any sets past BoK (since we'll know whether or not she's done any illustration for Betrayers by then)... + come back here + let us know the good news please!!

Oh!!!! You're so lucky!!! How much do you think a Winnipeg-Georgia plane tocket would cost?
What are the APAC lands? How could I get my hands on some? They look very asian (although Chinese, not Japanese) and would be nice to use with a Kamigawa deck.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just did a quick search and answered my own question. "APAC (Asia-PACific) lands are alternate art lands that were available to people living in the Asia-Pacific region. The cards were available in three packs: red, blue, and clear. These packs were given to purchasers of boxes of Tempest boosters. The artwork features scenes from around the Asia-Pacific region." Its around 17 for a pack of 5.
Rebecca Guay is my favorite Magic artist - I use her version of Serra Angel for my avatar. Gaea's Blessing, Serra's Hymn, Seedtime, Youthful Knight, and Hana Kami are all favorites of mine. I was actually quite shocked to find out that she lives in the town in which I attend college - a nearby gallery sells her artwork. Needless to say, I plan on checking it out - maybe I can pick up a Guay original.

Haha! Sure... I wonder if that's top secret thogh... I'm kinda afraid of Mark Rosewater in a chicken suit sniping me from a cliff
Oh, and a plane ticket would be a couple hundred dollars...

My favorites: Angelic Wall (P2 version), Carpet of Flowers, Dark Ritual (MM version), Gaea's Balance, Lynx, Psychic Trance, Shimmering Mirage, and Vigilant Martyr. Okay, I know that was a lot of favorites. So sue me.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can afford that. *sigh* Why don't these people ever come to Winnipeg?
