I tried to find you a picture, Koruam, and failed...
It may be that the picture's hosting site went down, but alternatively, I may have seen the cosplayer when Gamekings (since you're Dutch too, you may know the show on TMF) did one of their reports from the Tokyo Game Show last year or maybe the year before.
I don't really remember much of how the costume looked, but I don't think it was much better or worse than yours.
Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

What is cosplay? I understand that you dress up like someone, but what then? Are they judged contests where you win something? I mean no disrespect, I've just never encountered this as much, other than the people at conventions that certain retailers pay to dress up as characters from their product. Just curious is all.
@Kavumonarch: I know that program =P must've missed it though >_>
@LSK: Yeah I found about 3 of them there ^^, I'm on that site as well, both as Urza and as a Soldevi Adnate from Alliances
@PolarBearGod: Yeah there are contests where you can enter, or acts you can do, you can win prizes with it as well, but mostly it is just a convention where people show off they're costumes that they created (or bought like some) based on anime or games. It's quite fun I'd say ^^

I'm posting this mostly because I'm curious about whether or not anyone else has ever made any MTG costumes, because I've only ever found maybe 2 (besides my own) and I would LOVE to see more. If you've made a costume please post pictures, if you have plans please discuss, or if you need help making one ask me questions, because I have pretty substantial experience.
I've been making costumes for various and assorted purposes for about 9 years now (I made my first costume at age 11), so I recently made Chandra Nalaar for myself and Jace Beleren for my boyfriend. We may make other characters in the future, depending on finances.
I made that chainmail actually, I bought copper jump rings online and spent several months linking them. I did most of it sitting in my classes, my professors didn't mind because I got so good after a while that I could do it without looking down.
I plan on being Garruk for ACen 2011 and my 3 friends i'm bringing with are going to be Jace, Tezzeret, and Venser.

Pics or it didn't happen! ^.^
Seriously though, I'd like to see them when they're done. Or even before they're done, if you're an in-progress kind of person.

Awesome work! I've bene toying with doing a 'walker for FanExpo next year, but will have to see if I can make it happen or not (and see what 'walkers are around by then)

Pictures (they're big so I put them in spoilers):
You are a very impressive costume maker. I really like the detail on the costumes, Chandra is my favorite planeswalker and like attention to the details. Very nice job on the chain mail. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing your future projects.
Its freaking awesome that someone actually gets something like this done. Everyone can call you guys geeks for doing it but that is just truly impressive in so many ways.
@OP: Was that at AUSA? I didn't go this year but I'm pretty sure that's what the hotel looks like. (Also the fact that your location is in MD and you posted this the day after the con)
