WOW, can you explain how you made that?! Did it cost a lot? Was it hard? Did it take a long time?
It didn't take me that long, probably 45 minutes to an hour. Explaining would take a long time, and is pretty confusing. Since I created the foil frames for the psds, and am the only one (as far as I know) who can make them, then no, it wasn't hard for me.
He thinks you actually printed up a card. And I would've too, if I hadn't been marveling for a while now at the **** you guys manage to pull off with Photoshop alone. Awesome.
Very nice, Fogatog. Not your best work, but still good. The card looks fake to me somehow... I think the shadow on the top is what's throwing me off. It seems that the card would have to be curved for that shadow, but the corner is still a razor sharp 90º angle. Despite the instinctive "wrong" feeling of the pic, I am still left in awe of your mad skillz.

I guess I can hold a card at an exact 90º angle or something, since I just overlayed and free transformed/warped the card until it lined up perfectly with the one I took with my camera. The shadow on the top that's throwing you off is probably from the desklamp i was using to take pictures.
It's called MTG Universe and is headed by the same Lynnis who posts in this forum (and others, for all I know).
Wow, a free plug.
@Fogatog: Other than the odd shadow in the top left corner that FPM mentioned, this is a wonderful shop imo. Good work. Definately breaks away from the "fake rumour card" title. Beautifully done.

@Lord Tirian. What would be really hilarious would be to take that pic, and in the background on the desk by your computer have the Photoshop disk and a "How to Use Photoshop" book. Then see how many people are fooled, despite the clue.

Not bad, but the lighting and crispness on the card is way off compared to the rest of the photo.
Try tinkering around with the brightness and contrast, and maybe some gaussian blurring to try and blend the card in a little better. Overall, not bad.
@Fogatog: Note, though, that (unless I'm reading the post wrong) he actually physically printed out the card image, pasted it (with glue!) on the front of another card and photoed that. Very nice job, 'Gluppet :).

Meh, I don't think so. Look at the place where his thumb and the corner of the card overlap. It just looks wrong. Too sharp, as Fogatog said.
Also, the Time Spiral should be tilted a bit, if its orientation on the WotC spoiler is accurate (which it usually is).
Matrix for the title (MatrixBoldSmallcaps for the numbers in the pt box) and Plantin for the text. These are copyrighted, so sharing them in a public message is forbidden. Private messages are a little easier, though ;-)

No, I took a picture of me holding another card in front of the Photoshop window, and pasted the render on to it in Photoshop.

Awesome
Wow... Looks great, but... Don't textless cards have the rarity on the bottom right of the card?
