WOW-is that really true of Dringenberg's work? 5K?
cause now you got me thinking-i have an orignal magic painting of his from one of his portal cards that is just beautiful but its done in watercolor and thus the paper is warped but can easily be straightened out via a good matte and frame job
but now i wonder since his work seems to be so popular, how much is something like that worth?
Jason Chan is an extremely busy artist working for Massive Black Studio. He's even been slacking on updating his online portfolios lately, so don't expect him to get back to you terribly quickly.
Heya sceluk, I noticed your dragon whelp there... I thought you may like to know that Amy Weber put up a bunch of "original drawn cards" and card alters on eBay.... One of hem had that whelp on it.
Hi pete!
any plans for you and the art book crew to make the trip down south to promote at sna diego comiccon? you know the crowds and foot traffic you would get there for your book plus it would be great to see you again and meet some of the luminaries for the first time!
Hey, windspirit. Well, the books not out til September and since orders on the Kickstarter wrap up by end of March, it's not exactly a great opportunity for promotion.
Also SDCC table prices are ludicrous.
Finally, I am highly amused/bemused by the fact that I just received a solicitation warning for letting people know they could contact me for artwork I have for sale. Where's that 'head banging against a wall' emoticon when you need it?
Anyway, my email is always there, top right column of my blog.
Where can I go to promote auctions of my sketches? I'd love to let collectors know that I've got stuff for sale, but I don't want to spam people that aren't interested in hearing about it.

There isn't a place on MTGSalvation that you can do that except in your signature. Posting about it... no good. If you'd like to get that fancy bold Artist tag below your name like Mr. Venter let me know via private message.
I would also like to take my chance here to ask if anyone knows the whereabouts of the original art for Mirri, Cat Warrior? I have been looking for the art for a while as it's one of the card that introduced me to Magic.
I tried to get a hold of Andrew Robinson to try and get the original for Pillarfield Ox but it had already been sold. Sadface. I guess my foil Pillarfield Ox collection will have to suffice.

Is Karl Kopinski an exclusively digital artist? I have an interest in some M14 stuff, but I get the impression he is digital only from his website. Anyone know off hand?
Is there a website or a sub forum where I can look to see if there are any private sellers of magic art? I myself have two but would like to trade or possibly purchase more...

Yes. Artists most definitely sell prints of their work at conventions and tournaments they appear in. I'm not sure if ALL artists do, though.
You might want to try e-bay.

I didn't see Gisela on there but I know he works digitally so making prints available probably wouldn't be too challenging if there's enough demand.

My Sale Thread
It would probably depend on the price but people do collect artist proofs with sketches on the back, and those are the size of a normal card.
And it's nice to see a Magic artist take a brave step onto these forums.

WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.
Of the top pieces of Magic art I could ever want to own... this is way up there. I suspect that I'll never track it down, but wanted to at least try!
Thanks!

I have a huge interest in Kamigawa artworks so if any of you guys are willing to part with your collection please gimme a pm.
I believe the person who modelled for the card still has it and if so, you're unlikely to be able to persuade her to part with it.
