Subforum Rules and Information All users within Avatar and Signature Shops are expected to abide by the MTGSalvation forum rules.
Failure to do so will result in moderation.
Read and follow the rules of the shop at which you request graphics.
Don't post the same request at multiple shops; this is considered spam! If you don't know where to post, try Community Requests and Critique.
If a shop is not accepting new requests, do not request there. This is considered spam, so make sure to check!
Be sure to credit the shop and/or creator of your avatar and/or signature to the shop's specifications.
Opening a Shop
Be sure to clearly state your shop rules in your opening post. Violating these rules is an offense, so they must be clear and concise.
All shop rules must abide site and sub-forum specific rules.
Only shop threads may be posted in the main forum. Random requests belong in Community Requests and Critique. Any post violating this rule will be treated as spam.
Running a Shop
Be sure to respond to users and fulfill user requests in a timely manner. If you are unable to do so for whatever reason, leave a notification of such in your thread.
If necessary, you may ban people from your shop. This means that they cannot request there. However, you may not stop them from posting on your thread.
If you feel as though a user is breaking the forum rules, contact a moderator - do not handle it yourself.
Closing a Shop
You may close your shop at any time. To do so, PM a subforum moderator and your shop will be archived for safe keeping.
A shop will be closed and archived after one month of inactivity.
If you wish to reopen a closed shop, PM a subforum moderator and they will retrieve the thread it for you.
Sticky Policy
Shop threads will not be stickied under any circumstances.
Do not use an avatar or signature that was custom made for another user without that user's permission.
Avatars and signatures cannot otherwise violate forum rules. This means no pornography, flaming, or other material that would not be allowed in normal posts.
If a moderator finds your avatar or signature inappropriate, you will be asked to remove it. Failure to do so in a timely manner will result in an infraction.
Avatars
Avatars cannot be larger than 40kb.
Avatars cannot be larger than 100x100 pixels.

Signatures
Signatures cannot be larger than 80kb.
Signatures cannot be larger than 600x100 pixels or 450x150 pixels.
A signature image may be divided into multiple, smaller images. The total size cannot exceed normal restrictions.
Automatically inserted emoticons do not count towards the signature size limit.
Signature images may not be animated.
There is a limit of two quotes per signature. Additional quotes must be enclosed in spoiler tags.
Q: I want to open a shop. What do I need?
A: Perseverance and an image manipulation program! There are no formal requirements for opening a shop, no tests to pass, and no permission to gain. Simply post a thread with your desired shop rules and wait for the customers to show up. It's a big step, but a lot of fun!
Q: I can't find my thread! Where did my shop go?
A: It was probably due to inactivity! Once a thread has been inactive for a month, it's closed and archived until the owner wishes to reopen it again. This keeps the forum clean and free of clutter, and lets customers know who is around to fulfill requests. If you want to reopen your shop, PM a subforum moderator and we'll happily reopen it for you.
Q: A customer isn't giving me artist credit! What can I do?
A: Failure to credit to a shop's satisfaction is actually a forum offence! They may have simply forgotten, but if a polite reminder doesn't work, contact a subforum moderator and let the staff sort it out.
