Haven't posted in an art thread in a long time. I've been trying to improve and I've got a few pieces I'd like to share with you all.
These are a bit older (from the second half of last year) and I'm still trying to figure out how to get the images into the main body of the post (sorry) but I'll figure it out.
sigh. No one ever wants to say anything. Oh well. Guess it's back to practicing.
I like your work. It needs to be more polished in order to be compared with professionals' productions, but it is more closer than far. Perhaps, you could improve the application of subtle details and lines that would probably give more personality to the pieces. In the overall, you seem pretty promising!
The secret is: Never stop practicing. DOn't let frustration to govern your feelings and do your best to get a bit better, drawing by drawing.
Your poses are actually pretty good - Abigail problem a lot of people have is the inability to create dynamic, interesting compositions. You seem to be on the right track in that regard.
However, your colors are a bit dull. More variety in lighting and shadows will help them not to look so muddled and 'flat.' Also, your atmospheric perspective needs a bit of work, with farther away area fading out and becoming less vibrant.
Keep going, you've definitely got some cool ideas and you've got some good compositions and postings.

Commander:
White Makes Right (Mikaeus, The Lunarch)
Izzet Fun Yet? (Jhoira of the Ghitu)
The Perfect Storm (Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge)
Dead Grave Walking (Skullbriar, the Walking Grave)
How Could You Be So Heartless? (Heartless Hidetsugu)
Thank you all for that. I've actually got a couple of things in the works that'll hopefully demonstrate a greater knowledge of atmospheric perspective and since I'm cutting one of my soul sucking jobs it'll be easier to make new stuff.
