Around August last year I fell in love with drawing with ink, and since then have gathered a little bit of a following / portfolio. Here are some of my works that I've accumulated over the past year:
The Lion & The Mantis:
The Lady & The Squirrel:
The Bliss of the Past:
The first three above I did with a ballpoint pen. Then I was introduced to the world of pen nubs & inkwells and have since used those exclusively for my art.
The Caretaker:
Giraffe:
XY Arbitrary:
Itinerant:
My mantra in art always tries to answer the question: "What if?". I'd say I'm really inspired by the works of Jeff Jordan and Esao Andrews, both painters that stretch the limits of reality and add so much flavor to possibility in doing so. So that's my departure: what happens when I take two seemingly unrelated and realistic objects / beings and make them interact? What kind of thought does that ignite?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for checking it out
