We fought them on their hallowed ground and lost. Then we fought them on our own sacristy and won. Then, we fought them in a whole different place entirely! Have we won? You'll have to read on!!!
Sidenote: What's with the lack of participation? There were only 11 entries (not counting Quilt's entry which was too late to make it on, and CynicalSquirrel's and Shadowlord's "empty" entries) on News/Salvation, and only 11 entires at TMD. Seems like with 3CB hovering around 30 people we could scrounge up a 15-person team easy.
Some analysis: We had a couple solid decks, a lot of mediocrity, and one clunker. They had quite a few solid decks, very little mediocrity, and a lot of clunking. Who won? Read on again
The format was interesting. The "every card is team-restricted" rule kept a lot of things in check, and made a lot of strange forced moves. Quite a few Rack lists were submitted and turned away simply because a Soldevi Sentry deck had gotten to it first.
I wonder if it's possible that our discovery of Strip Mine as tech for "non-mana-sources must do X" + "no banned list" caused us to win. I suppose we'll never know.
I must say as well that this tournament proves to me that Nazgul_Master is the best new player we've seen in a while.
About the next REGULAR 3CB: Because of 41 hours of rehearsal for the school play/week, I've pushed it back a week. It's still happening, don't worry :p. Expect it Monday.
ALSO: BIG thanks to wonkey_donkey for doing all the matchups, when I couldn't get to it due to aforementioned school play. He did 'em, I corrected 'em. It's much easier to correct than to do.

Well, at least I got a + on contribution. Funny how a TMDer got 2.5 times the contribution for the same deck.... I guess they had better anti-form than us.
I didnt submit because there are too many permuations of the so-called "best deck" (first turn card removal, + threat) and only maybe one or two decks that do better than 3-3 them.
"Contribution," ie the "+27/-27" stuff, is based off of the difference between regular 3CB and the idea of the War of the Worlds.
Since the only score that matters is your team's score and the opponent's score, it is more important to maintain an equity of points than to get a lot of points.
For example, if you had three matches, all of them 4-1, you would get 12 points for yourself, but you would have gained 9 points on your opponent (you got 12, they got 3; 12-3 = 9) The net worth of those three matches is +9.
Suppose, then, that you had three other matches; two were 6-0 and one was 0-6. You would still have 12 points, but your opponent got 6. 12-6 = 6. The net worth of those three matches is +6, even though it's the same number of raw points as the three 4-1s.

Well, now we're up 2-1. Should we make it best of five?
my sig. made by me.
Since the only score that matters is your team's score and the opponent's score, it is more important to maintain an equity of points than to get a lot of points.

A score guide for Contribution:
0-6 = -6
1-4 = -3
2-2 = 0
3-3 = 0
4-1 = +3
6-0 = +6
