This is the second of my discontinued threads in 'News that I'm bringing here...I'd like to have different trivia in different forums...since I'm still not sure about my future in either Salvation or 'News...
This is actually a remake of an old 'News thread by glennvolio that was totally cool...I remade it once on 'News, but it died off, so here it is again...
Here are the rules:
I shall post a strange and interesting statement.
Your job is to guess if the statement is legitimate or simply B.S. from my twisted mind.
I'll leave each fact open for....about a day, maybe a bit more, and each person that guesses correctly gets a point!

after death, your cells still have a bit of ATP in them - they don't just disappear when you die. anyways, the cells use this ATP to continue their normal functions for a short time, until the ATP runs out.
this means that your folicle and finger skin cells can still produce the protein for hair and nails, just for a short time before the ATP runs out (no incoming glucose to resupply the cells)
This one depends on your definition of death. It is not B.S. if you mean once the brain stops functioning permanently and the heart stops which is typcally what defines death for humans because some of the cells will still be functioning of of left over energy stores. But if you mean no longer being alive in any form, which would require all cells of your body to stop functioning then it is B.S. since nothing can grow if all cells have died.
B.S.!
The phenomenon that hair and nails continue to grow after death has a serious spook factor but is just an illusion, said Dr. Kitha Griffin, a dermatologist in private practice in Atlanta. "After death, the skin surrounding the hair and nails will shrink and decompose at a greater rate than the hair and nails themselves," she said.

Feh, that's BS. Eating too many carrots may make your stool orange, however.

3CB and 4CB5CB!They don't grow. Occasionally, they can *look* like they grew.. but this is only due to the drying of the body.

Just not happening.
3CB and 4CB5CB!I just can't believe this one, though I have no evidence.
I really don't think that that would happen...would eating grapes make you turn purple?
I have never that one before, but I have ingested a 2 pound bag of baby carrots and my skin isn't orange yet!
