I propose a series of contests spanning several RPG games from the past. These will test your intelligence, your endurance, and your willpower.
First up: Final Fantasy I.
There will be a point system in place for this challenge.
When time is called:
For every level below the combined maximum: 1 point (e.g. if maximum combined level for the entire party is 396, a total of 395 would net you 1 point)
For every minute spent playing: -1 point
Beating the game: 500 points
For every 10 gil in the party's posession at time of fighting the final boss: +1 point.
For every 10 gil worth of equipment/items held at time of fighting the final boss: -1 point.
More scoring to follow.
The cutoff date is the 31st of March.
PM me for more information; if you are interested, also send a party list. The list will be given to a random participant to use, for an extra layer of strategy.
I have it on good authority that the Phyrexians are going to win. However, Venser is then going to teleport the whole of New Phyrexia inside the Zendikar Hedrons, leaving the Phyrexians and Eldrazi trapped in an eternal struggle of the mechanics that nobody likes.
The next set will feature both infect and annihilator, and be called Maro'sWetDreamia. It will also feature a new Jace, to ensure that it sells well.
