OK, can I ask Magwold to try and figure out who may have thrown in what? We had a second piloting card in this skill check and for the love of all that is holy I sure the hell hope that it was from the DD, because if I see another Piloting card in a skill check that does not involve it, I will flip.
I'm more worried about the fact that we have a basestar continuously spitting out raiders while we haven't advanced on the jump track. I would rather see a Launch Scout this turn to try to set up a crisis that will actually get us moving.

Sorry to Cabal Chan, but I need to replace. My fundamental lack of understanding the rules of this game is holding it back for everyone. I'll probably read a few games to try and understand it better, but diving in head first was clearly a poor choice.
Well, without violating secrecy rules, we can at least know the following.
1)Players only contributed six cards yet there were seven positives, so a minimum of one of the positives came from destiny.
2)The piloting card must have come from destiny, Boomer, or Lee. Nobody else has drawn piloting cards so far in the game.
3)If a player put in the piloting card, then there were two positive cards from the destiny deck.
5)Boomer drew 1 Tactics, 1 Engineering, and 1 Piloting, and did not contribute to the first skill check. So the one card contributed was either one of the Launch Scouts, or the Maximum Firepower.
6)Apollo has drawn so far:
2 Tactics
3 Leadership
3 Piloting
Played one card into the first check, two into the second. So Apollo had to have played at least one positive, even if he did play the piloting card. (Which is possible.)
Yeah, I still don't think there's enough information to determine what came from where. Although it seems as likely as anything that it was just a bad hit from destiny. Should be obvious enough if we don't get any piloting-positive skill checks before destiny is exhausted.

This is the only the first game here; I honestly didn't expect everyone to have a solid understanding.
If you're withdrawing, I will need someone to find a replacement for Magwald. If anyone knows of a friend who's interested, that would be great. (I cannot simply drop it to a five player game. Game is on hold to a filler is found).
Keifru and I have put out a call for interested players on our Mafia clan's board. *cross fingers* If there's a place where players might be interested, it's almost certainly there.

I guess ultra ultra worst case we can start over as a five player game. That thought makes me wince though. We'll give it...a week perhaps? I would hate for the first game to fizzle due to lack of interest. >.<
