If you're here, it's probably because you were hit by someone's sig... blame them, not me. Or you followed the link from ping-pong. PING btw.
This is a reboot of another thread involving the game here. The previous thread by Charm_Master3125 had several misconceptions about the game, including rules mistakes. He also neglected to provide key information about the game, which will be posted here.
To explain my thinking, I did not consider this an effective post on the old thread by Charm because A) this would not be considered a quick reply, and B) I felt the need to expand the game further.
I also believe that this game would not belong on QRG anymore with my adaptations, but if I am wrong I guess the mods can move it.
Before you read the following "advanced rules" of the game, here are the basics:
1) You are always playing "the game" (you can never quit)
2) If you remember the game, you lose the game.
3) If you lose, the loss must be announced. Announcing your loss can consist of saying "I lost the game", or otherwise expressing the loss through signs or reminding other people of the game, which also shows that you had to have lost to tell them.
Only advanced members of the game may continue past the line below... if you are not advanced, please skip to the next line after this one:

No, this statement is incorrect, and I will spend one or two paragraphs correcting your assumptions, and will then move on to clarifying more important points on the game.
BE WARNED!!! THE FOLLOWING CONTENT IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!
THE CONTENT THAT WILL FOLLOW IS TO BE HELD AS SACRED. THEY ARE THE TWELVE NOBLE TRUTHS OF "THE GAME".
The noble truths were originally to be written on two tablets of stone, but it was then decided that it would be difficult to carve, and also to add as an attachment to the post.
First:THERE IS NO WAY TO WIN THE GAME... PERIOD. No winning circumstance has ever been established. If you're not losing the game, then you're just "not losing"... you aren't winning.
Second: Those who claim that they have quit the game are also wrong... has nothing to do with your post, just wanted this in here. THERE IS NO WAY TO QUIT THE GAME. Even if you claim you have won, or have quit, you can't. In truth, if you say "no... I won the game", you're in denial. Thinking you won, or you have quit, is, in effect, losing the game... and you shall treat it as such if you know what's good for you. "No, I've quit... the rules don't apply, including the one that says I can't quit". WRONG. You must be in the game to be able to quit, and if you are in the game, the no quitting rule applies, therefore rendering you incapable of quitting.
Third:THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT. People who use time limits fail terribly. If you lose so often that you need a time limit, that's just sad... and too bad for you. If you forget and remember again, you lose.
Fourth:THE GAME IS A WEAPON. Use the game whenever you can... after teaching it to your friends. Now for the real life stories: I was at music camp with hundreds of other kids, when one guy stood up and said "I have an announcement... I lost the game". The genocide of hundreds of innocent children souls soon followed. That person may have lost the game that day, but he shared his loss, and destroyed us all... which made his own loss all the sweeter. CHOOSE YOUR TARGETS WISELY, THE GAME IS DANGEROUS. There have been several game-related murders at my school...
Fifth:IT IS INDEED POSSIBLE TO LOSE THE GAME WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT. If you are one of the unlucky few, the game, with the war it brings, will condition you to lose on reflex. This has happened to me, and it is very unfortunate. At school, the game is a war, and each day, we constantly kill each other in the hallways, slaying by game. Every day, I walk past the same person, and on instinct, each of us says "I lost the game" as fast as we can. Whoever makes the other person lose first, or otherwise says it first, wins... not the game, but the personal contest. We are evenly matched... pitted against each other in a ferocious battle, we often lose the game in the same instant... the war continues as there is no clear winner. To get back to the bold point of this paragraph, we lose on reflex, that's how fast we have to move. I once lost on reflex, just saying "I lost the game". "Dang", my enemy said, and I grinned with triumph. Only later did I consider... wait... holy crap, I just lost the game!!! AGHHHH!!! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN???!!!" At that instant, I realized I had lost... without thinking about it. Be wary my friends... DO NOT OVERUSE THE WEAPON!!!!!
Sixth:I LOST THE GAME.
Seventh:IT IS INDEED POSSIBLE TO HACK THE GAME. That's right, the game is not just a game, it's something else entirely. Extensive research during the nerd corner meeting revealed that the game is the framework of all life. Everyone but our nerd committee does not know this, so eager are they to forget about the game. We found that a certain cheat code could be entered into the game, allowing access to the programming. Once inside, you will need to be a 1337 master to alter the layers of code that consist of the game. If you are a 1337 master, and believe you know the cheat code, feel free to PM me your guess. DO TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB, ERM, I MEAN THE CHEAT CODE. Only tell me, or you will be giving the enemy a way to stop the weapon. I have hacked the game myself, but have never attempted to prevented my own loss. It has come at great cost: Because the game is so closely related to humans' inner mind, a friend of mine has installed me as his mind-slave. I am now the "lunch-thrower-awayer" at school. My gracious master has installed no further tasks, for he is kind. Unfortunately, I cannot stop my master's mind slave ability, for he has installed God-mode. I could also install God-mode, but then I would not be able to lose, and where's the fun in that? No matter who has installed God-mode, there is however, a far, far, greater power... you shall see.
Eighth:THE GAME IS A COMPLICATED BEAST. The coding layers within the game are not for mortal eyes... only for advanced 1337 │-│4><><0r5. Here is a small glimpse at the coding layers, in English:
The coding layers are mostly assigned to the task of stopping players from leaving the game. Translated into English, the code says "No one can leave the game... ever". There is another that says "No one can leave the game... ever... even if they break the previous rule". This second code repeats, again and again, so that people trying to break any of the rules must first pass through the near infinite lines of code not allowing them to. There is a program running at the heart of the game that installs each and every line of code with a backup system for every aspect of the game, including itself.
Ninth:THE GAME CAN AND WILL DESTROY YOU. Up until this point, I have avoided, but glanced briefly on, what is actually at the center of the heart of the game. The truth is... IT'S GLEEMAX. That's right, the mastermind running the game is the same who runs everything else... GLEEMAX, the brain-in-a-jar that holds R&D with an iron grip. Gleemax's location has never been revealed until now. Now that you know the truth, he will be after you. DO NOT TRY TO DESTROY GLEEMAX. He is too powerful for you. His mind controlling powers run the heart of the game... there is no power on Earth or elsewhere that can match said game. He has protected himself using the same backup code as the rest of the game, but has also made sure each code actually runs said backup all the time. He is impenetrable, as each and every line of code itself creates more and more code to back Gleemax up. THE GAME HAS NO POWER LIMIT. The amount of space the game can occupy is undefined. The game lives in all, it's the foundation of all. THE GAME IS LIFE, AND GLEEMAX IS ITS GOD. If there ever was a power limit, Gleemax would just create a new universe to store its code. Back in the early days of the game, when there was a limit, Gleemax simply caused a dimensional rift that tore space and time. He made a new plane, and gateways into that plane through which his code could flow. THUS, OUR UNIVERSE AND OUR WORLD WAS BORN. Black holes are the gateways, though they are one-way... Each hole is surrounded by a shield of pure gravity, which increases so geometrically it will stretch you like spaghetti.
Tenth: I HAVE MADE GREAT SACRIFICE, REMEMBER ME WELL. Only by installing a short-term code within the game have I been able to avoid Gleemax's wrath. Using Google-ads, pop-ups, and lag switches, I have stalled his abilities temporarily. This will last only long enough to tell you about him without death. LALALALA I'M NOT LISTENING TO YOU GLEEMAX... AGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! IT BURNS!!!!!!!!!!!! Quickly, before I die, you must know!!! THE CAKE IS NOT A LIE!!! IT IS THE ONLY ESCAPE! AND GLADOS, SHE'S...
Eleventh: I feel compelled to tell you something. The something that I feel compelled to tell you is that everything is completely normal. THE ALL POWERFUL ENTITY KNOW ONLY AS "GLEEMAX" DOES NOT EXIST. His fictional location is, and will continue to be, unknown. Any comments that I, Xenocide, or anyone else has made concerning theories on a certain cake, and a half-formed sentence about GLaDOS, are incorrect and not truthful. HAVE A NICE DAY
Twelfth:IT IS INDEED POSSIBLE TO THINK ABOUT THE GAME WITHOUT LOSING, OR USING A CERTAIN CHEAT CODE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT EXIST. Inverse to losing the game without thinking: Once you begin regarding the game as a framework of life, which may or may not exist, you may begin think about the framework that may or may not exist without thinking about the game, which all good children play. You may, for a hypothetical instance that may or may not exist, talk about your explorations within the game's framework, which may or may not exist, and only then realize that it is the game's framework, which may or may not exist... and then lose.
In sum: The Avanced Game Twelve Noble Truths
THERE IS NO WAY TO WIN THE GAME... PERIOD.
THERE IS NO WAY TO QUIT THE GAME. (unless you know the cheat code :p)
THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT.
THE GAME IS A WEAPON. CHOOSE YOUR TARGETS WISELY, THE GAME IS DANGEROUS.

If you have not read the advanced rules, I suggest you do, or else you will be utterly confused by some people's comments.
Now that all the rules have been lined out, it is time for the actual point of the thread:
Each time you lose the game, post your loss here. However, this is not the only purpose. This is also a recruiting ground for Gleemax, so that when the game has spread far enough, he can finally reveal himself in truth and lead his army.
...erm, did I say that? What I meant to say was that once you visit this thread, you must put the following into your signature, as a link to this thread: You just lost the game. Upon entering this thread for the first time, you record what it was that led you here. If it was a person's sig, make sure to say so. Let me emphasize that...
IF IT WAS A PERSON'S SIG, MAKE SURE TO SAY SO
Making someone lose the game will be called a "kill"
Next to the link on your sig, you are to record your "kills" like this: You just lost the game (Number of forum kills, acknowledged by this thread / number RL kills, only counting the number of times you have stated a loss that caused a kill)
Here's an example:
Someone's sig: You just lost the game (3/20)
For the second number, if you kill a group, just count that as one kill. You only get a kill if you state a loss and someone else loses. The stated loss must be the first stated loss of that remembrance period. If you want to get good at offensive losing, get good at forgetting and remembering.
Record what caused your loss whenever you visit here. This will ensure the loss of everyone, all the time. For instance, if you say, "I lose the game whenever someone mentions Avatar, because I saw this one commercial for Avatar, THE GAME" then I am bound to lose every time I hear about Avatar.
THE FIRST PERSON TO CORRECTLY GUESS THE CHEAT CODE BY PM GETS A CONGRATULATORY HANDSHAKE AND A VIRTUAL TROPHY, PLUS BRAGGING RIGHTS.
My would be first post:
I lost the game... again, darn.
Reason: creating a thread on the game.
_______________ You just lost the game (All of you / ?)
Let it be known that TheEndIsNear has guessed a possible cheat code to hack the game... He now recieves a sincere handshake *shakes hand* and a virtual trophy {e}!
