In this forum, we get together to play quick games, most of which are never-ending. All games that require short, quick responses should go here. Longer, more thought-out games should go in Other Forum Games. In general, we have fairly relaxed rules in QRG. Posts do not count here, in regards to your post count, so it allows the freedom to have quick-reply "spammy" styled games - but they can still be a lot of fun, mind you. This forum is designed to be a haven for fun. As such, the rules are designed to maintain a healthy forum for our games, but do not interfere with the games themselves.
A short breakdown of relevant rules:
Most games encourage short responses here, and these are perfectly acceptable. The length of your response will never result in a warning, so long as it is relevant. This is not spam central, however. Coming in here just to post random nonsense is not allowed.
Necroing (dragging up a thread from long ago) is also quite often acceptable here. In fact, you SHOULD necro an old game if you want to start it back up, rather then creating a new game. However, necroing just to make a comment, such as "Good Job Timmy" or "That looked fun" is not acceptable.
Double posting is acceptable if the game requires it. Game operators may freely make multiple posts as necessary. However, double posting to reply to yourself in a game is not acceptable, and is warnable. We're here to have fun with each other, and having someone come in with 20 responses in a row can disrupt things and stifle the fun. Just wait a bit, and you should be able to go again anyways.
Games dealing with adult content are not allowed here. Sex, drugs, and otherwise "adult" topics should be kept to the NSFW areas. We understand that "Adult Content" is a gray area, so games that we feel just barely cross the line will generally be moved/locked. Games that are grossly over the line will result in warnings. If you have a game that you're unsure of, it's always best to contact a moderator first.
This is one area where we do not have lax rules. We are, in fact, very strict. If you are insulting, trolling, or otherwise overly aggressive, you will be warned. This forum exists for us to have fun. While debates are inevitable in some games, there is no reason they should ever need to become heated. Stay civil. If you feel like you are under attack or otherwise being negatively treated - contact a moderator directly; do not retaliate or escalate the situation. Remember that you also came here to have fun. If you're not having fun, then the game you're playing isn't for you. Try a different one.
