Anyways, my last point is the statement can say "every night can destroy someone," or, as I read it, "every night can doc somebody." I don't see any gramatical errors in the second sentence.
I am stuck at my parents' house on dial-up until Tuesday. I simply do not have the patience to read through and post in multiple games on this connection; I'll be back once I get home Tuesday night.
He used the lie as reason to place suspicion on armlx.
Where? All I see is ande trying to give his opinion about the crypto-claims. No where does he say armlx is scumm, scummy, or even not fun to be around.
Even without actually adding a vote, that makes it more than just an exaggeration. Lynching him for just that is probably too much, but it's definitely the worst thing I've seen anyone do in this game upto now, hence my vote.
That's a stretch.
Incidentally, I do agree with him that armlx could have waited a bit longer before starting the massclaim, but I don't think that's scummy, just a little overeager.
Vote Grimclaw Because that's the worst thing I've seen anyone do in the game upto now. FOS: TFF Because that's the second worst thing I've seen anyone do in this game upto now.

Care to provide any reasoning whatsoever as to why you think Grimclaw's point has any merit?
Sure. I think GC's point was a bit off; but, he was looking in the right place and certainly not overreacting. Ande definitely deserves a bit of pressure:
Ande's comment that he had figured out the claims was a bit silly, but more importantly, it was entirely pointless. Why go through the trouble of pointing out weakness in the cryptoclaims? -He wasn't hoping to stop it, since everyone has already gone through with it. Why comment on how they aren't unsolvable, and that the scum just need to put time into it? Why explain how the scum don't need to try to solve all of them, and that they only need to break a few to find powerroles? All of that is entirely pointless, and borderline dangerous, after we have already done it.
Also, it was the worst thing I've seen anyone do all game.
On the basis that he misrepresented and threw dirt on ande with regards to armlx when there was no such thing.
@TFF: You are of the opinion that ande should just shut up on what he saw as a valid point with regards to the acronym claims since they are already in effect?

Didn't like him starting early. Stating that there was still valid discussion before the cryptos started and armlx jumped the gun. If it is borderline dangerous, then yes he should.
TFF is making sense. Andelijah's post was not helpful for the town, but possibly dangerous as scum bussing.
At best, it was a useless post. At worst, it was andelijah telling his scum team to start decoding.
I'm not voting andelijah because, at this point, I think it was just a useless post.
I think Andelijah's posts have been logical so far, nothing blatant. I do think that caution = good. Andelijah wasn't outting anyone, or claiming, or anything harmful, I think.

Last I heard, being concise wasn't a scum tell. You want someone saying nothing, look at Faerie Lord.
Its not concise, nor even nothing.
Its that his only content of the game is two contradictory statements. One calling Grim and TFF scummy for voting me, and one saying "holy bandwagon, batman" to Grim's wagon.
Why? Why argue this point? -We weren't going to stop, since most had already posted their claim; so, what were you hoping to accomplish?
Just because something already happened doesn't make it any more or less worth discussing.
Armlx stated that the claims would be unable to hurt us. I provided the example where they could have, albeit with much much easier acronyms. I asked for the solutions because my point would have been worthless without them.
Its that his only content of the game is two contradictory statements. One calling Grim and TFF scummy for voting me, and one saying "holy bandwagon, batman" to Grim's wagon.
I disagree about those being contradictory; it could be he was suspicious, but not so much as to warrant half-a-dozen votes immediately.
Besides, what would that tell you? That he's trying poorly to ride the fence?

First of all, you'll notice that the game only really started to kick in to gear around the time I made that first statement. I don't think many people had much content before then besides "sure, let's acronym claim".
Second, my statements are not contradictory. Grimclaw and TFF's votes were for what I consider poor reasons, and I said so. That doesn't make it less scummy to see votes jump on them that fast.

I haven't said any more because I correctly predicted that if I sat back and did nothing the suspected parties would dig their holes a bit deeper.
Well, according to your posts "the suspected parties" could refer to Grim, TFF, or anyone who voted either of them (which brings the total to around 7, I believe).
To parts:
1) "So [Ged] thinks [Grim's] actions are suspicious, but don't warrant votes? How is that not contradictory?"
Ged essentially FoSed Grim and TFF, but when people voted Grim and TFF, he FoSed them as well. If he thought Grim and TFF were scummy, why should he be FoSing their wagons?
2) "What level would be acceptable?"
If you think Ged is justified in thinking the bandwagon is too fast, how fast would you prefer to see wagons progress at? What makes a wagon "too fast"?
Again, there are others doing this more readily than him. See: FL.
I don't disagree with this statement. Two people can be guilty of the same things. I am just more suspicious of Ged than FL at the moment.

That's not my place to decide. Apparently, Ged has found his niche. This is a question that should be referred to him (hi Alx2!).
I don't disagree with this statement. Two people can be guilty of the same things. I am just more suspicious of Ged than FL at the moment.
Okay. My question - why is Ged's behavior more suspicious than FL's?
The fact that he's poorly riding the fence does not excuse him from riding the fence. It is a scum tell regardless of how well he is doing it.
No, you see, that was me preempting your argument. I don't believe he is riding the fence, as noted previously.
Same question to you: what level of votes and at what speed would have been acceptable?
I don't know. In fact, that's the other reason I haven't voted anyone: I don't know which thing - the original suspicious actions or the rapid wagoning - I find more scummy. To address your second question (the one about 4 votes in 4 hours being worse than 4 votes in two weeks): I believe it's easier (or at least more common) for scum to slip their votes in on a wagon when it happens quickly than when it's dragged out over time.

BigTime, goatrevolt, TheFooFish, and to a lesser extent Dagger. Plus you get the whole slew of reactions to the wagon; everyone gets the opportunity to screw up. Obviously this is a lot of suspicion to throw around which is why I wanted to wait a while and see which ones continued to act bad.

Neat. There are a lot of targets. Let's start with them.
BT - Followed me up with a vote on Grimclaw. Pretty scummy and totally wrong reasoning for joining said wagon though. Bleh.
Grim - It's an acceptable explanation. Apparently he deduced the "you" by ande was referring to armlx. Totally missed that there.
FL - Memory recall informed me FL was giving his opinions a lot. Haven't seen much about them, but apparently he was fence-sitting (from the latest posts)? The wagon is a fast one though.
TFF - I can see the reasoning behind his vote after he explained it. That made it less bad since I thought at first he was just barning Grimclaw and trying to jumpstart a wagon on ande.
Ged - Pretty neutral stance from what I have seen. Another fence-sitting? Normally it's not much of a scumtell especially this early in the game. (But then again people being suspicious of me are usually scums )
With that, Unvote Grimclaw
And hmm... Vote BigTime

I don't disagree with this statement. Two people can be guilty of the same things. I am just more suspicious of Ged than FL at the moment.
The fact that he's poorly riding the fence does not excuse him from riding the fence. It is a scum tell regardless of how well he is doing it.

Again, see the whole "speed" issue I brought up before.
That's not my place to decide. Apparently, Ged has found his niche. This is a question that should be referred to him (hi Alx2!).
Okay. My question - why is Ged's behavior more suspicious than FL's?
No, you see, that was me preempting your argument. I don't believe he is riding the fence, as noted previously.

Correct. A lot has happened in the last few dozen posts. I'm interested in watching a lot of people in how they act. Some will bring themselves into better light, and some will most definitely not. I think a lot of people did silly things, and I think some of them will continue to do silly things. Is it wrong for me to watch them for this?
I did ask him. Check my post responding to him.
I've played with Ged as scum before. I'm just more comfortable with my read of him at the moment.
I see.
I think its more spreading suspicion around than riding the fence, personally.
Do you have anyone you're actually suspicious of on the wagon? If you think that its easier for scum to slip their votes onto the wagon when it goes quickly, which person on the wagon do you think is scum for doing so?
So basically you're watching everyone still, with no specific targets even after that exchange, despite having cast suspicion on 7 people. I don't have a problem with watching, but that's not all you're doing.

Uhh, what? It was an overreaction. I really don't see how it's not. Grim even said so himself, if I am correct. Also, you are agreeing with me? You call me scummy for putting my vote on someone else you claim to be scummy? That just doesn't make sense...
Anyway, could we get a VC here please?
Also, I have been reading Ged as neutral. He hasen't really made any great substantial posts, but the little things he has said are innocent enough for me. Seems like the attack on him came out of the blue.
You didn't. I said andelijah wasn't doing it -> His post was safe -> I'd prefer he post the information so that we could be aware of it -> I think people who want to suppress warnings to the town are scum.
I WANT YOUR DEATH BARONS! Message me if you want to get rid of them!
Hmmm, raising issues over 2 players' play and then.....well doing nothing about it. Essentially, its godawful fence sitting.
as is
which is making note of something possibly scummy....and then weakly commentating on the other side.
and your reaction to Ged is priceless as well.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
That fails to refute the fact that the action is scummy, my friend.

But then again people being suspicious of me are usually scums)With that, Unvote Grimclaw
And hmm... Vote BigTime
We'll make you an offer you can't refuse.

Over reacting is the single most over used, under useful, scummiest to use scum tell ever. Real over reactions are over the top. His was not in the slightest, and you applying the over reacting tag simply shows me you are trying to spiral the situation out of control.
Bolded for your convienence. Yeah, I'm thinking he overreacted there.
So essentially, you agree with the idea that Grim is scummy on all the same issues, you just prefer to define your terms differently. Misrepresenting and throwing dirt over nothing sound like the definition of an overreaction to me.
Funny too, cause up until you voted me, you were still voting Grim.
