The breadcrumb you said seems entirely like fishing for monikers. It could be exactly that, in that his trigger is obtaining everyone's else. It could even be that of a rolecop, as you said. But nowhere did I see that intention was done with that of a scum's drive. Unless you are claiming rolecop is entirely a scum's role and never town's?
Also, you seem to be under the impression that even scums will speak the truth if they have drawbacks? How certain are you that there isn't a weak person #4 who is the real scum and who were reluctant to spout out his weakness within the thread like the other 3?
This is exactly correct, though the role cop suspicion is stupid. Scum do not reveal things like that. Especially not how he did so.....trying to get something subtly and then deciding to be more open about it later is a natural TOWNIE state of mind.
Tanarin is clear as hell.
Meanwhile, MandersHex, rather than analyzing the actual you know...play of Iso, is too busy talking about how fast people voted him. Ummm, yeah that's a terrible way to scumhunt.
Also Manders, please explain how an absolute "No scum starts with these posts" is anything like No True Scotman.

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
If there's anything that would make me wary of my conclusion, it's that Manders is on this wagon with me.
You need to stop this. You are so wishywashy as town to be utterly useless.

I'd say something about this but I'm not going to reference an on-going game to do so.

Sorry, but did I miss something? Did baseless accusations that get to L-2 wagons suddenly become fantastic scumhunting tactics?
2011: Best Mafia Performance (Individual) - Best Newcomer
2012: Best (False?) Role Claim - Worst Town Performance (Group) - Best Mafia Performance (Group) - Best SK Performance - Best Overall Player
2013: Best Non-SK Neutral Performance
2014: Best Town Performance (Individual) - Best Town Performance (Group) - Most Interesting Role - Best Game - Best Overall Player
2015: Worst Mafia Performance (Group) - Best Read
2016: Best Town Performance (Group) - Best Town Player - Best Overall Player
Look, the point I'm trying to make with the whole SP thing, is that it's day 1. The more people who contribute ANYTHING the better. The better reads we have on people, the better.
I don't like lurkers. The more lurkers we have, the less reads we have, and the only people we have input from, and therefore the only reads we tend to have, are from the non-lurkers.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

You mean: "I'd make a comment how you're wrong and he's totally scum, but I can't make a comment on it."

Nothing is baseless. #47 and #62 are beyond super scummy. Everyone should see this by now.

I'll have a post for you probably tomorrow, Loran. It'll show you all kinds of good stuff.
Also Manders, please explain how an absolute "No scum starts with these posts" is anything like No True Scotman.
I think I used it wrong just because you started your statement with "No". It's WIFOM, though.
Can you specify what makes those posts scummy? So everyone, including myself, can see it more clearly.
I second this sentiment, I would very much like to know HOW I am scummy, as you don't seem to be providing anything but "you are scummy, it is self-evident". Normally, I'd wait for someone else to second kill-joy's request for your verification, but it's just annoying at this point. So please, elaborate.

I'm going to quote someone here, a personal favorite mafia player I wish I could emulate better:
Quote from Chamber »
Like always, I don't think it would be beneficial to the town to explain myself. Feel free to decide for yourself.
I'm not Chamber. I'm giving you the posts. But they speak for themselves.
Don't look for common scum tells when you look at posts. Think to yourself whether a town player would say them, especially in that manner. When you get the answer is no, you have a scummy post.
Both of these posts of Iso qualify by quite a bit.

The town needs to stop being lazy and look at your posts, instead of falling for stupid "scum tells" out of context of other players.
Look at the post, the context, and how it's worded. This post is another, though lighter example.

Seppel - HI
Iso - Loran showed me that he's looking very good.
PinkFloyd - Very agreeable.
MandersHex - Nagging feeling that she's just trying to get on my good side.
The_Doctor - Voted for Iso, who knows
Silent Prophet - POST MORE (yeah right like that's ever going to happen)
Roja - POST MORE (I hear you're a legend)
Reya Cookiebringer - POST MORE (What's your sign, baby?)
Dagger - Said one thing that sounded bad.
kill-joy - Something seems off about him but I'd have to look back and figure that out.
loran16 - Classic bullheaded scumloran who tries to get people lynched and gets angry when they don't listen to him
Tanarin - Scum Rolecop or something associated with requiring monikers.

KJ- Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat's meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Seppel- Can be a little pushy about it, but seems to have town motives.
Loran- Also a little pushy, but he's been pushing hard for not claiming, and has been in general townlike.
Roja- Hasn't been posting, so no read.
Reya- Same
SP- Same.
The Doctor- same
PinkFloyd-Haven't really got a read on him just yet.
Manders- Has been trying to paint me since early, seems like she's trying to cause trouble/chaos instead of trying to ACTUALLY find scum. Possibly scumbuddies with Tanarin.
Iso-I'm beginning to be convinced that his posts are scummy.
Tanarin-Still don't like his early fishing for monikers, etc.
Dagger- Baiting me to vote still seems suspicious to me.

Scum
Also Unvote because I don't think I'm getting a response from him anytime soon.

What does baiting you into voting mean? If you voted him, what was he going to say, oh you voted me cuz i told you too, therefore you're scum?
What does baiting mean?
THINK! What is the scum motive!

He wanted me to vote for him. It's probable he had a plan to use that in the future against me somehow to paint me as scum.
It's leading me to believe the scum are trying to get me lynched. There's your motivation. They found what they view as an easy lynch.
Tell me, does this sound like an effective scum plan?

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.

Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
You need to stop this. You are so wishywashy as town to be utterly useless.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
I'd say something about this but I'm not going to reference an on-going game to do so.
Sorry, but did I miss something? Did baseless accusations that get to L-2 wagons suddenly become fantastic scumhunting tactics?

Look, the point I'm trying to make with the whole SP thing, is that it's day 1. The more people who contribute ANYTHING the better. The better reads we have on people, the better.
I don't like lurkers. The more lurkers we have, the less reads we have, and the only people we have input from, and therefore the only reads we tend to have, are from the non-lurkers.
That's what I'm going for here.
What reasons, pray tell? What town motivations are there to laying off someone that you can't reference anything he said to back up?
You mean: "I'd make a comment how you're wrong and he's totally scum, but I can't make a comment on it."
Nothing is baseless. #47 and #62 are beyond super scummy. Everyone should see this by now.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
Can you specify what makes those posts scummy? So everyone, including myself, can see it more clearly.
So is dogpiling on a noob who didn't even have a chance to say anything about what little actual accusations were made.
I'll have a post for you probably tomorrow, Loran. It'll show you all kinds of good stuff.
I think I used it wrong just because you started your statement with "No". It's WIFOM, though.
This just proves you're town.
I lol'd
I believe he gave us all the information we needed. Go read his posts again. Pay attention to every detail. Come back and let me know what you found.

In #47 he makes a good point that we shouldn't be moniker claiming.
And #62 is classic paranoid town.
There's nothing here.

Actually, you're wrong.
Again.
Are you just a bad troll or something?
I second this sentiment, I would very much like to know HOW I am scummy, as you don't seem to be providing anything but "you are scummy, it is self-evident". Normally, I'd wait for someone else to second kill-joy's request for your verification, but it's just annoying at this point. So please, elaborate.

I'm going to quote someone here, a personal favorite mafia player I wish I could emulate better:
I'm not Chamber. I'm giving you the posts. But they speak for themselves.
Don't look for common scum tells when you look at posts. Think to yourself whether a town player would say them, especially in that manner. When you get the answer is no, you have a scummy post.
Both of these posts of Iso qualify by quite a bit.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
No.

Ok.
Post 61:Telling us not to vote for him via a quote from lorin, followed by a pals smiley. I interpret that like "Lets be friends" due to the handicap.
He then quotes Reya, responding about handicaps, trying to let us know he has this particular handicap.
Then, he quotes you and is wondering why people aren't paying attention, followed by a thumbs up, meaning he agrees.
Next, he quotes lorin again, this time agreeing with several thumbs up that we shouldn't claim things.
Post 72: He then wonders why you would want that handicap.
And he's sad that it's day 1.
Did I miss anything out of all that info?
I like Seppel's list

Town
Leaning Town
Neutral
Leaning Scum
Scum
Also Unvote because I don't think I'm getting a response from him anytime soon.
@Manders: What exactly did I miss? Also, will you answer why you don't want the town on Iso? Because he's a noob isn't really a good reason.
Why? Please, once again, explain how this comes from scum motives.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
He baited me into voting, which I then did with a good reason IMO, and no matter how many times I explained myself about it, SOMEHOW it was a bad reason when it really wasn't.
What does baiting you into voting mean? If you voted him, what was he going to say, oh you voted me cuz i told you too, therefore you're scum?
What does baiting mean?
THINK! What is the scum motive!
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
*sigh*
FINE.
My interpretation is that he only has that PR D1. It is likely his trigger, and once he goes a day this way, he'll know who he is.
That's why I think he quoted Alpha saying Day 1.
Because I think he's town. What did you expect me to say?
Why do you talk about your vote as if it's past tense? Last I checked, you're still voting for him.

That's a pretty good scum motive right there.
Green=//=Orange.
Bold=//=Town.
There, I thought I'd make it more obvious for y'all.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
He wanted me to vote for him. It's probable he had a plan to use that in the future against me somehow to paint me as scum.
It's leading me to believe the scum are trying to get me lynched. There's your motivation. They found what they view as an easy lynch.
That is the dumbest scum motive of all time.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
Tell me, does this sound like an effective scum plan?
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
Ok, I can see that. That's definitely a possibility. I didn't think of that.
Because I think he's town. What did you expect me to say?
Ok. I'd like at least one example of towniness in your eyes, so I can see what you're seeing, please.
Here, just below my list.
Honestly? Yes. Due in part to the fact that that's what it seems like they're doing.
Ok, you'll get a lot more than that when I make my big post tomorrow. I don't feel like making it atm.

Seriously, you're lashing out at shadows here. Keep your eye on the prize please.

So something he normally does is the scummy part and him not doing it this time makes him scummy?
wat
you're the dumbest scum motive of all time
