KJ sounds a little bit nervous - especially his response to Ced in #128 (the ":P" is a little telling). Not sure if that means anything, given that KJ is not very experienced while responding to the very experienced Ced. Still stuck out at me.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

1) No, it doesn't. As to why someone would fake that PR, I don't know, and can't read your mind. Nor am I going to speculate on why you would fake that. However, with something so inconsequential, I thought you should have little to no objection to telling us more about it.
2) I'm saying I think it more likely that scum would react like you did as opposed to town. But now you have given me a straight answer, and at the moment I see no reason for you to fake THAT PR.
1. More role fishing about the PR. Note that he has yet to question any of the other players with PRs at this time. Also assumes that the PR is incosequential to whatever abilitiys she might have.
2. I fail to see how her reactions have anything to do with her PR. Your looking for a reason to back off here, and this reason is bad.
In #75, you say "And similarly I have trouble seeing what good knowing you have strikes will do scum who know it." What do you mean here?
KJ sounds a little bit nervous - especially his response to Ced in #128 (the ":P" is a little telling). Not sure if that means anything, given that KJ is not very experienced while responding to the very experienced Ced. Still stuck out at me.
Minutiae.
She was apprehensive to share even something as inconsequential as the penalty to missing her PR. What I was saying is I see no reason why she couldn't share that. I assumed her reason was so the scum wouldn't figure it out. But Scum knowing her penalty does them no good as far as I can see.
Oh, and ced doesn't make me nervous. Nor do any mafia vets. Those days died with Amnesia.
"So far, you're doing nothing to help yourself in my eyes."
You implied that Manders doesn't know %100 of the PR that she invented.
Then you attacked her.
And if she was faking, she wouldn't, would she?
And what do you mean by "attack" was my question.
I did no such thing.
Show me my posts with Positive and Negative Connotations please.
So let's say that Manders is faking a PR.
So what?
It's not one that let's her get away with B.S. like Iso's.
[B]
If by really bad you mean obviously faking sure.
I read this as negative. He's OBVIOUSLY faking. Like faking his PR is a bad thing.
But then in the post I just quoted, for instance, you say "So what if Manders is faking? "
It read like you were treating the two of them differently somehow.
Hahaha, I hate it when you say I'm gullible...but I totally am.
What, you're saying Toastboy didn't take it seriously?
I'm not Toastboy, now, am I?
Are you saying you don't understand my answer, or you like it?
Please try to be more clear here, Iso. Please?
I don't like how loose the PR is. It's so variable. Most PRs I've seen are at least a little rigid, and not just "act super nice".
Hahaha, I was told exactly what to say. Hence, no variations.
We'll see.
How, exactly, am I hiding behind it?
Last I checked, I was, by far, the most vocal person here.
You're hiding something. Whether or not it's something really relevent I don't know. But you are. However in the interest of a realization that Shal and TCM gave me (there may be mechanics revolving around these PRs) I'm going to drop it.
The first time a strike method of missing her PR is mentioned...
Relevance?
1. More role fishing about the PR. Note that he has yet to question any of the other players with PRs at this time. Also assumes that the PR is incosequential to whatever abilitiys she might have.

[B]vote kill-joy.[/B]
1)Role fishing? My questions has nothing to do with her role.
Also, No one else gave me a feeling that they were faking.
2)I was seeing if I could catch her in a lie. I failed.

Nope, but i was struggling to phrase my feelings about KJ's play so far. I think i showed why i dislike KJ's actions and why i felt the need to vote him, just did it rather poorly.

Specifically, what lie were you trying to get her caught in, and why?
I was trying to get her to incorrectly state the nature of her PR with aggressive questions. She was being suspiciously shifty about her PR so I wanted to see if I could figure out why.

I am not dealing with this for a full day. I half think your faking, as this restriction is horrible, even more than a MMM. This is such a hindrance that I would seriously consider avoiding EP hosted games if this restriction is real.
So what You can break up Posts but your Pr is preventing you from answering my questions?
Bull.

Your PR seems to consist of OHAI beginnings with the occasional hahahahaha in front of some lines. And it's not always the same number of lines.
You have a very good grasp of it, so let it drop already.
I don't like how loose the PR is. It's so variable. Most PRs I've seen are at least a little rigid, and not just "act super nice".
It's rigid and it's not. You have a problem with it, take it up with EP after the game's over.
You're hiding something. Whether or not it's something really relevent I don't know. But you are. However in the interest of a realization that Shal and TCM gave me (there may be mechanics revolving around these PRs) I'm going to drop it.

Nope, but i was struggling to phrase my feelings about KJ's play so far. I think i showed why i dislike KJ's actions and why i felt the need to vote him, just did it rather poorly.
I wanted to see if he was capable of voting you before I asked him. I'm not really interested in the case on you - your attack on Manders wasn't good, but there's a difference between that and scummy.
Wait, if you're not interested in the case on kj, why did you want Iso to vote him?
Iso, you're probably going to have to make the answer to my question in your last post a little clearer.
Iso says: I want to respond to/comment on these points but am having difficulty.
Iso says: My PR prevents me from doing or answering this.

Ok, for reference, Ced's question was:
Quote from Cedwick »
Why didn't you vote kill-joy first time around. I don't feel it makes much sense, if k-j's actions led you to unvote, that you wouldn't immediately put your vote on k-j afterwards.
So, are you saying that you didn't vote for him because you wanted to pressure him?
I was trying to get her to incorrectly state the nature of her PR with aggressive questions. She was being suspiciously shifty about her PR so I wanted to see if I could figure out why.
Unfortunately with manders, it come with the territory. She hasn't done anything to suggest she's not playing her normal town game. When I realized that I backed off, but now I'm at a loss.

Are you out of your mind?
We dealt with you rhyming terribly in Flame Warriors. (That was fake, right? I think I remember it being fake.) He has tools that he can use to communicate a little more effectively, and it will only last a day.
Presume to teach me to play this game?
Well, maybe I shall respond the same,
Questioning quotations,
Asking their persuasions,
Is the method, not throwing the blame.
I will not pretend that you know nothing
However I don't like when others are patronizing
I've enough experience to reject things like "You fail"
But I feel upset by these statements, which I find pretty stale
But how quick you put this defense down
Is the part of it that makes me frown,
However, I must ask,
Before I shift your mask,
Is this something you once did as town?
That happened indeed, not once nor twice
But as many times as needed to break the scum ice
However I can't tell you, where and when precisely
It's a general trick I come up with, not always but usually
(note - translations available on request. some of what I'm thinking was definitely lost in that round of limericks)
Nobody tells you to answer in rhyme
You are losing there an awful lot of time
And sometimes the signification doesn't show identically
As what you were meaning in your post initially
For having done it so far since now one day
I know sometimes it turns my statements the wrong way
Seriously, this is my number one complaint about playing this game. Players who like to piss me off/push my buttons (usually done by stating suspicions on me for stupid ****) so that they can get a reaction out of me.
Pretty sadly for you, I'm not the only one
In many games this did help well and the town won
I have to admit though, that many ways exist
Including some that don't get to come to fist
I read this as negative. He's OBVIOUSLY faking. Like faking his PR is a bad thing.
But then in the post I just quoted, for instance, you say "So what if Manders is faking? "

It's even more than a difference, it's a contradiction
This can make everyone agree, beyond the opinion
The votes on Iso are horrible, it's a sorrow
He said that the PR would change tomorrow
Wouldn't it be worthwhile to wait until day two?
We have enough time to see if it is true
I was trying to get her to incorrectly state the nature of her PR with aggressive questions. She was being suspiciously shifty about her PR so I wanted to see if I could figure out why.
That doesn't answer 'why' you wanted to get her caught in a lie.

This is a worthless post and the vote on Iso is garbage. You "half" think he's faking? wat
No, being Manders. I thought the overreaction to the multivote and the PR business was scummy at first, but the town convinced me this is business as usual for you.
We dealt with you rhyming terribly in Flame Warriors. (That was fake, right? I think I remember it being fake.) He has tools that he can use to communicate a little more effectively, and it will only last a day.

I was faking yes. You should have handled it by killing me. Especially when my own teamate called me out on messing it up.
Although I have no idea what Zionite is referring to in the second half of this quote, I'm going to have to agree with him on the first half. I'm struggling to (in response to Iso's Q from earlier) come up with a scum motive for Mander's actions, because it all comes back to the fact that of course Manders is concerned about getting lynched, that this concern really overrides any other motive, and that it doesn't really change regardless of her alignment. Also, she does have a history of taking the random at face value - I voted her for a similar (although admittedly much more subtle) thing in Doha Mafia and she was town there (Asian even vehemently defended her).
Unvote MandersHex
Not sure about k-j. He's going in a little too hard on Manders, but the blatant-ness of the whole PR-fishing thing makes it seem like he's in one of those "a-ha gotcha" modes.
I find Manders' overreaction to be consistent with my understanding of how she plays in general. Hearing that she did something similar in Doha makes me even more reluctant to consider it important.
For some reason I thought KJ had voted Manders at some point and then unvoted. That he never voted makes #94 feel a little forced - it feels like he is dealing in unjustifiably small increments of suspicion (IGMEOY vs. considering a vote). On a similar note, in #75 seems to be saying that scum would have knowledge of the minutiae of Manders' PR. KJ: why do you think that?

Ok, here's my attempt at deciphering:
Was it more kj's actions than my own that led you to unvote me?
You say you did not vote me for what you said were town tells. Can you provide quotes to show why you did vote me in the first place?
Is your PR going to change from day to day?
(btw, you can use for yes, too. New smilies ftw!!)

As to everything I need to answer, I'll do it tomorrow when I'm less busy. Hasta manana.

I'm not going to say I expected more, but I kinda did.
unvote
The first time a strike method of missing her PR is mentioned...
Manders is denying KJ's blatant fishing attempts.
Fishing for more information about her PR.
Declaring her actions as not-helpful when presenting her with questions?
It seems to me your grasping at anything you can to make manders' look bad.
1. More role fishing about the PR. Note that he has yet to question any of the other players with PRs at this time. Also assumes that the PR is incosequential to whatever abilitiys she might have.
2. I fail to see how her reactions have anything to do with her PR. Your looking for a reason to back off here, and this reason is bad.
vote kill-joy.

Hahaha, EP, can we get a vote count?
Hahaha, Iso's getting easier and easier to understand, y'all!!

And if she was faking, she wouldn't, would she?
And what do you mean by "attack" was my question.
I read this as negative. He's OBVIOUSLY faking. Like faking his PR is a bad thing.
But then in the post I just quoted, for instance, you say "So what if Manders is faking? "
It read like you were treating the two of them differently somehow.
I'm not sure what you're getting at here, ced. You're telling him to vote me in his next post... then he does.
This reads like you feel that the vote on me is justified, and yet you aren't voting me.
Your PR seems to consist of OHAI beginnings with the occasional hahahahaha in front of some lines. And it's not always the same number of lines.
The style behind it gave me a gut feel of being fake.
Here's an example:
I don't like how loose the PR is. It's so variable. Most PRs I've seen are at least a little rigid, and not just "act super nice".
We'll see.
You're hiding something. Whether or not it's something really relevent I don't know. But you are. However in the interest of a realization that Shal and TCM gave me (there may be mechanics revolving around these PRs) I'm going to drop it.
Can't tell if joking or serious.
Relevance?
1)Role fishing? My questions has nothing to do with her role.
Also, No one else gave me a feeling that they were faking.
2)I was seeing if I could catch her in a lie. I failed.

Nope, but i was struggling to phrase my feelings about KJ's play so far. I think i showed why i dislike KJ's actions and why i felt the need to vote him, just did it rather poorly.
My wife was on MTV with this video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUutIZg2EpU
I've explained why I did what I did ad nauseum. If you want to know, go reread. If you still don't understand, quote what you don't get and I'll see what I can do about clearing it up.
Specifically, what lie were you trying to get her caught in, and why?

I was trying to get her to incorrectly state the nature of her PR with aggressive questions. She was being suspiciously shifty about her PR so I wanted to see if I could figure out why.
Sounds legit.

I am not dealing with this for a full day. I half think your faking, as this restriction is horrible, even more than a MMM. This is such a hindrance that I would seriously consider avoiding EP hosted games if this restriction is real.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
Bull.
You voted Manders then You said the things you voted her were Town Manders Tells.
Now you are trying to hide behind your Madeup Pr so you don't have to answer any tough questions.Unvote Vote Iso
Anak: I suggest
A. Showing my posts in all of their context.
B. Leaving the blue Arrow in the post so I can find the context where I said Manders was Town.
C. Not cherry picking my posts.
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
Was this meant for me? I don't recall Anak and you talking about Manders.
You have a very good grasp of it, so let it drop already.
It's rigid and it's not. You have a problem with it, take it up with EP after the game's over.
You said I am hiding behind my PR. I want you to explain this right now. How am I hiding behind my PR.
Hahahaha, hello Town Arcadic!!
Wait, if you're not interested in the case on kj, why did you want Iso to vote him?
Ok, for reference, Ced's question was:
So, are you saying that you didn't vote for him because you wanted to pressure him?
Your answer makes no sense, darling.
Show me quotes of "suspiciously shifty."
Hahahahaha, what does, being suspiciously shifty?
Hahahaha
When did you learn how to read me? o.O
How on Earth does that sound legit?
I'm on it, sweets.
Are you out of your mind?
We dealt with you rhyming terribly in Flame Warriors. (That was fake, right? I think I remember it being fake.) He has tools that he can use to communicate a little more effectively, and it will only last a day.
You will back off or be ignored.

However I don't like when others are patronizing
I've enough experience to reject things like "You fail"
But I feel upset by these statements, which I find pretty stale
That happened indeed, not once nor twice
But as many times as needed to break the scum ice
However I can't tell you, where and when precisely
It's a general trick I come up with, not always but usually
Nobody tells you to answer in rhyme
You are losing there an awful lot of time
And sometimes the signification doesn't show identically
As what you were meaning in your post initially
For having done it so far since now one day
I know sometimes it turns my statements the wrong way
Pretty sadly for you, I'm not the only one
In many games this did help well and the town won
I have to admit though, that many ways exist
Including some that don't get to come to fist
It's even more than a difference, it's a contradiction
This can make everyone agree, beyond the opinion
[The Family] pressed the "lynch" button, thinking it was labeled "lunch" .
Hahaha, same for you. Back off. If he's town, he's a valuable asset. And no way in hell will I trust your opinion on whether he's town or not.

He said that the PR would change tomorrow
Wouldn't it be worthwhile to wait until day two?
We have enough time to see if it is true
[The Family] pressed the "lynch" button, thinking it was labeled "lunch" .
That doesn't answer 'why' you wanted to get her caught in a lie.
Shakespeareer Flew!!!Hahaha, and to add on to this, what it would have told you about my alignment if you had caught me in a lie.

@Manders: Through being wrong all the time (except our first time). And it just does.
This is a worthless post and the vote on Iso is garbage. You "half" think he's faking? wat
Baby, our first time was so short lived, you don't even remember it.

Hahaha, no. No, it really doesn't. But w/e. I'm waiting for more responses.

No, being Manders. I thought the overreaction to the multivote and the PR business was scummy at first, but the town convinced me this is business as usual for you.
Regarding the bolded: What is this referring to?
Story of my life.

@Zionite: the town convinced you waaaaaaaat
Who are you referring to in that sentence?
He had 43 posts, and nothing relevent. You would think someone with a restriction would be quieter.
I was faking yes. You should have handled it by killing me. Especially when my own teamate called me out on messing it up.
You can't stop me, just go ahead and try.
Please explain how the bolded is any different for any player in this game. You are going a bit too far out of your way to keep him alive.
