also Arnaria said there would only be one alignment shift every night...so scum member C becomes town and A and B are still scum? The only way that would work is if scum don't know who they are, is that really being considered as an option? Without an informed minority this is not really Mafia.
Wildfire and Helix may have noob cards for now, but Jay's last game was his first on the forums and he ended up contributing well. I'm not down for lynching noobs because noob on Day 1, but once they have had a chance to figure out how this works they will have to shape up or ship out.
Actually scratch that Helix's first post is pretty much exactly what I posted in my first game (MM3) when I was scum ("hey what's going on who should I vote for").
Anyway, MDenham promised a claim but has since vanished. I'm looking for the next likely scum, and I believe I've found it in you.
So you think MDenham and I are both scum. Or you think MDenham is town BECAUSE he vanished.
Which one is it?
But I already know you have to think it's number two because you don't believe in bussing. But what is the logic there? Why do you drop MDenham when he hasn't even left for 24 hours, call it "vanished", and switch to someone else over a joke.
You're either not making sense or you're entirely inconsistent. Which one is it?
I'm inconsistent. Or...
MDenham was because I really disliked the inconsistency in his "paranoia" statements. When he didn't implode at the gaffe when pushed (he seems short tempered and I thought the "scale of 1 to 10" comment was going to fluster him or push him over the edge), he responded calmly and part of the joke. After that I felt better, but I didn't immediately Unvote him for it.
You, Sir Sir Karn, have been antagonistic and akin to a kid poking a beehive of noobs. While I do not know your meta, this seems scummy enough to me to warrant a vote. Can you link me otherwise?
You just said that you left MDenham because he vanished though (when he hasn't even been gone 24 hours). That's an entirely different reason than you're giving now. So were you lying then or are you lying now?
All complete games are linked in my insite blog - which is linked in my sig (the one titled "Mafia Stats").

I'm not lying either time. Since when does the phrase "felt better" mean "cleared"? MDenham deserved pressure at the time, did he not?

You completely left out your second reason the first time. And you still haven't explained how yoy got to the conclusion that MDenham "vanished".

Seems like sound enough logic. I second the Vote Helix.
And I'll try to shape up. It's just been tough with my first forum mafia being such a weird game. I'm trying to figure out what's going on and everyone keeps accusing me of "setup gaming" when I do that. I guess I'll just keep my hypotheses to myself then.

I'm back.
Hot damn.
I almost want to leave MDenham for this.
This is possibly an easier catch than Necropsy was.
Man, why do alignments have to change in a game where I already figured out the scum team.

I enjoy real time communication and I enjoy the back and forth (like we are doing now). I think better this way and I like posting short responses in quick succession than big posts every 48 hours. I'm not desCoures.

You're doing a lot of not-actually-answering my questions when quoting them, then pretending like you did, Arnnaria.
If you were gone for 16 hours and another opportunity presented itself to interact with a player that I previously had not interacted with and wanted to interact with, yes I would shift my vote.
You're doing a lot of not-actually-answering my questions when quoting them, then pretending like you did, Arnnaria.
And you are either not listening to my responses or even acknowledging the questions I'm posing to you. I'm fine with you grilling me, but you are being just as circuitous as you are claiming I am being.

I answered your vanished comment here.
You have really short patience then? 16 hours isn't long in Mafia time.

You did not answer these two questions.
(Order is inverted, don't know why. On my iPad.)
I didn't say "felt better" meant "cleared".
Why does MDenham no longer deserve pressure? Oh, you already answered - he stopped posting for 16 hours.
Okay, back from work and running errands finally. Apologies for not claiming in a timely fashion as I said I would; as heavily implied in earlier posts, I am VT toDay. If we don't find actual scum, I have no objections to being lynched as I freely admit I'm playing horribly.
The thing is: this game, so far (as well as CCM7) has proven to my satisfaction that I don't have the skills to play Mafia well. I couldn't convince a man in the desert to buy ice water, and I don't understand what people think is convincing. The best I'm capable of doing is posting in a way that would at least make me - upon reading it from someone else - look at it and consider the observations presented.
Unfortunately, I'm not even doing a good job of that this time around because my writing is distracting me from this (and this, in turn, is keeping me from being able to write because it's taking up too much of my headspace). If I can't manage to concentrate on this by the end of the weekend, I'm going to request to replace out, because it's not fair to you guys.
Um. The scum are probably divided between two of the four wagons, with the third scum not voting. So that divides things into three cases:
kaburi is scum - Specific, ER, Tom, Jay, Helix, and I are town; remaining two scum are probably between Karn's and Helix's wagons
Helix is scum - GM, Wildfire, Jay, kaburi, and I are town; remaining two scum are probably between Karn's and kaburi's wagons
Jay is scum - kaburi, Helix, and I are town; remaining two scum are probably one on either Karn's or my wagon, and one on either kaburi's or Helix's.
So I'm almost certainly wrong about Karn unless Jay's scum with him. Unvote. I can't tell which one of those three cases is the most likely at this point - call it (and this is a pure guess based on gut instinct) a ~40% chance that it's Jay, 30-35% chance that it's Helix, and 25-30% chance that it's kaburi.
The same gut instinct that's coming up with those percentages has also been trying to convince me that the scum team was Karn, Arn, and either Jay or Wildfire, but while that's not ruled out, it doesn't seem likely to me. Somewhat more likely is Arn/Jay/Wildfire and Karn is just a giant butt.
Reasoning for "scum on two wagons + one not voting": it makes the most sense to me from a play standpoint for whichever scum hadn't jumped onto a wagon early to sit back and see if a wagon takes off past three votes.
This is not helpful for figuring out which one of those three is scum, other than helping to support the assertion that kaburi is the least likely of the three to be scum because he posted first of those three.
If you've ever played scum before, you know it really is never in your best interest to bus right away and (this especially) BUS SO SOON.
I bused early and hard in CCM7, and it worked well enough until I was copped. That was more the exception than the rule, but I don't think it's entirely outside the realm of possibility for scum to decide it's a good idea to bus each other.
Bus your buddy, then your odds of rolling scum again are lower, thus your odds of rolling town are higher. This increases one's chances of being on the winning team.
How does this increase your chance of being on the winning team? Scum tend to win more than Town, so surely rolling Town decreases your chance of being on the winning team. Or am I totally misreading what you've said here?
If you treat the scum roles like a game of hot potato, then getting rid of the other scum roles quickly means that the town's overwhelming numerical advantage levels the playing field somewhat.
After being drowned in text for 10 pages i think i am finally sort of caught up. Does any one want to provide cliffs of accusations etc. Usually for the first day i like to not vote we kill someone right away (coming from playing warewolf a lot) but this may be a lot different.
This is not a good way to jump in after missing a bunch of stuff. Even some gut reads would've been better than the whole lot of nothing I'm seeing here. "Wow, that's a lot of stuff, but rather than put in effort to contribute, I'll just ask people to spoonfeed me reads" is not a pro-town mindset.
The more communication the better. The more scum have to communicate, the more scum have to lie. It's a disservice to us if you think something is suspicious but don't point it out.
Do you disagree?
Sounds like scum talk to me :afoot::afoot::afoot::afoot::afoot:

Do you think it's more likely that roles are completely reshuffled each night, or only a limited number of people get reshuffled?
-
Also Helix is really rubbing me the wrong way what with that red flag he raised. I want to see whether he digs himself deeper or whether he pulls himself out of some of the scummy things he's been doing. In the meantime, unvote.
Mdenham, I hate replace out threats, please don't do that when you clearly want to play and have something to offer this game.
That's the problem: I'm not sure I want to keep playing. I'm giving it another four days to see if my general case of the RL :muh:s continues, and if it does, then I'm going to try and cut down on things I'm doing that I'm not particularly enjoying, which means this and working on that ****ing outline for my writing (which I will probably get back to at some point after winter goes the hell away).
It seriously isn't fair to any of the rest of you guys to have one person who's not particularly into the game because of external factors.
If that's the case step out now and give the replacer leas to catch up on. In four days we might be too close to Xmas for interest to join in to be there.
Good luck with the RL stuff.
Good point. I'd forgotten about Christmas entirely.

I was already a bit suspicious of Helix because he was the last to check in. If I was scum, I'd probably want to lurk for as long as possible and let the townies form wagons against each other, and as a fellow first-timer, that was likely his thought too.
Additionally, GM pointed out how he acted in the same way in his first mafia as scum, almost exactly, that Helix did.

Arnn though... Tut tut. How can you mudsling that bull about first person to mention an sk when A: I was the one who pushed wildfire to mention it, and B: you then walk away from the comment claiming nothing in it. That's sowing seeds if suspicion and that's scummy crap.
I walked away because there's no proof of an extra kill yet. If there is, the comment is there as a means to return to it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Still doesn't address why you chose to ignore WHY wildfire brought the subject of the SK up.
Care to discuss it with me now?
Sure let's discuss it. Wildfire was preoccupied with worrying about a second kill. I overlooked the fact that someone (you) had planted that idea in his head because I missed the fact that you had planted that idea in his head.
So do you still think it's relevant that wildfire said sk first or is it more relevant that I set the hypothetical of teia suddenly dropping dead in game?
Well if Teia does drop dead, I suppose that would be suspect. But now that the idea is out there, it's probably null at best.
Um. The scum are probably divided between two of the four wagons, with the third scum not voting. So that divides things into three cases:

While I concur that Karn is just a giant butt and probably not scum, I'm curious why you think I'm scum for simply not voting? I've already laid out my reasons for not voting yet.
... And he's requested replacement. Damn.
In any case, due to a number of minor things adding up, I'm leaning towards MDenham or Wildfire being scum. Also, Helix is a possibility for me, as well.
Case for Wildfire: #70 - He leans towards SirKarn and MDenham, with little in the way of reasons, and is cautiously supportive of Specific. #77 - Now he's leaning towards GM and Helix, for no real reason given for his switch or the new picks other than that they haven't posted. #105 - Fishing attempt (Scum Info) #118 - More support of Specific, for no reasons given. #140 - More Fishing (Town Powers)
Case for Helix:
Two posts the whole game so far. He started late, but more tellingly posted nothing of significance in his two posts so far. This sets of warning bells for me, as in my first game one or two of the scum escaped attention by posting very little and nothing of substance on Day 1.
However, the late posting means little to nothing. For those of you without access to the Mod Lounge, he posted in the original Mod Mafia 9 thread. So your mileage may vary, he may just be an easy target.
Case of MDenham:
Besides what other people have mentioned, look at #206.
Okay, back from work and running errands finally. Apologies for not claiming in a timely fashion as I said I would; as heavily implied in earlier posts, I am VT toDay. If we don't find actual scum, I have no objections to being lynched as I freely admit I'm playing horribly.

Two things strike me about this. First, is the claim, if he is Vanilla Town, like he has claimed, we're losing very little with a lynch because he lacks a power role.
However, the rest of his post makes it pretty clear he's trying to convince us all of something and can't manage it. Reading it, it made me feel like he felt like he couldn't sell what he was trying to sell, and not that he couldn't convince us of his scum reads. The thing is, a VT has nothing to 'sell'. There is literally no reason for a VT to have to put on a front about anything.
After being drowned in text for 10 pages i think i am finally sort of caught up. Does any one want to provide cliffs of accusations etc. Usually for the first day i like to not vote we kill someone right away (coming from playing warewolf a lot) but this may be a lot different.

I agree what i sad was taken completely wrong. I am used to playing warewolf (this is my second mafia game, my first was years ago). When i play warewolf with friends we all talk about who we suspect etc i assumed it was the same in this game.
The banter between Arn and i was a joke, we are friends i talk to him outside this game and forum. Again going to reference warewolf we always say "that sounds like wolf talk" as a joke. I did not mean for it to be taken out of context like this.
I fail to see the scummy things i have been doing, i can show you a chat log/timestamped messages about when i was told where this game was being taken place, i was under the impression it would be taking place in the mod private section.
Wildfire and Helix may have noob cards for now, but Jay's last game was his first on the forums and he ended up contributing well. I'm not down for lynching noobs because noob on Day 1, but once they have had a chance to figure out how this works they will have to shape up or ship out.

I didnt realize a noob mistake = playing like a scum at all. You guys can feel free to vote for me im just letting you know i am not a scum at all, you would be killing someone that is innocent.
It seems like regardless if you do not post for a while/ dont know about the game that is scum tendencies and you will be branded as one regardless.
Another filler post - this time spending the whole time defending yourself and not trying to actually help find scum or progress the game in the slightest.

Ok here are my predictions You and Wildfire seem to be banding together and hunting down easy targets. I didnt realize defending your self was considered "filler". I will get flack for this but who cares im already targeted for death
Vote: Sir Karn
Since i started posting you have incised that what i was doing was so clearly scummy tactics. When i try to clear my self by posting valid arguments that is considered filler and not actual posting/progression of the game. Strong logic. I could be missing a core fundamentals of this game if i am not seeing something.

The action of ONLY defending yourself and not making cases or points against other people is considered scummy. And that's what you've been doing all game up until this point.
This in particular first lead me to think you are scum:

>says hes caught up
>provides no observations or reads
>asks for cliffs of what has happened
True that came off wrong, i guess i was asking for peoples predictions/further discussions.
also Arnaria said there would only be one alignment shift every night...so scum member C becomes town and A and B are still scum? The only way that would work is if scum don't know who they are, is that really being considered as an option? Without an informed minority this is not really Mafia.

Wildfire what is your logic behind voting for me? I can understand Gerrards logic as incorrect as it is to me.
I also see what is going on with me though, in the first few pages you guys all just blindly voted for anyone just too feel them out and since i was late i am getting all of that now.
One thing i have noticed though was this interaction between karn and mdenham
Three votes out of seven people having posted, though.
So?
Explain what you hope to gain out of someone being pushed to L-2 before the game is 24 hours old, taking into account that you either agreed with or at least couldn't be bothered to make a counter statement to the idea that RVS should still be going.
Because that's the road we're going down already.
First, you're not at L2. This is a 13 person game.
Second, you're scum, so even if you were L2, that's fine.
The game also hasn't hit the 24-hour mark yet. Two votes from the remaining six people in 13 hours is - based on how this game is already playing out - probably likely, of whom one will be one of your scumbuddies and the other one will be someone playing like the village idiot.
Also, that is not an explanation of what you hope to gain from this. For that matter, your case of me being scum is "oh god he voted me and is posting a lot", as near as I can tell. Go back and look at CCM7. I posted a lot there. For that matter, go back and look at USUDM (I recommend welding goggles to protect you from the stupid, both from me and from others). Considering how short of a time I was in that, I posted a lot that game, too.
Me posting a lot is, at best, a null tell.
- You think someoneFOUR PEOPLE would come quickhammer you before everyone even checks into the game?
...
...
- You are EXTREMELY misrepresenting the reason I'm voting you.
I also find it funny that you made two posts unrelated to me after I made my vote on you (here and here) before deciding to hop on me. Feels like hesitation from scum.
Not to mention that second post there, addressed to ER, is trying to paint him in a bad light without committing to anything:
But yeah, trying to lynch the mod is scummy. Don't do that.
Voting for things that can't be voted for (nonexistent people, random groups, people not in the game including the mod) is something that I find scummy because it's a sign of trying to be noncommittal even in RVS. You and ER decided to jump right into that particular bucket of slop, and ER got a pass (and that "don't do that") because the whole multi-vote joke was too attention-drawing of a move to make sense as scum to me.
Then you follow up by being overexplanatory of your actions and paranoid of a quicklynch when you're not even halfway there (3 out of 7 necessary to lynch you).
There is a large difference between "I'm making a serious vote during RVS" and "wanting to kill RVS early". If anything, you and Karn seem to be the ones trying to kill RVS early, as half the players still haven't posted and yet I'm at three votes already. I figure we've still got a day and a half of RVS left that I can make faces at.
As far as me being "hyperactive": .:no::no:. I'm trying to get people to post. For Clans Mafia, I didn't do this until later because we didn't have Days starting at godawful o'clock.
Man you sure sound bothered about a measly three votes on you.
This is all super defensive and overexplaining your actions.
All this adds up to equal scum.
---
I haven't seen anyone get this upset about 3 votes this early since... ever. And the games I'm thinking of were 12 man not 13.
Welcome to Mafia with MDenham, where you get to deal with the most paranoid person to ever play this game. You have now discovered why I don't play this game very often. The gift shop is on the right as you leave.
This enforces my initial thought of karn being scum. Though i have 0 experience with him outside of this forum i am not sure if that is how he acts when jimjams are ruffled or if he is scum and is trying to deflect etc.
When I was modded in January (almost a year now!) I had 125 posts. I'm not a naturally talkative person, especially when I don't have anything to contribute. Take a look at MM8 (my only publicly viewable game) when you get a chance to get an idea of how infrequently I post.
-=-
Karn is being very aggressive, and that could be a day one tactic of poking every bear he sees to try and generate reactions and gauge responses. It's setting off my scumdar, but I think it's a false positive. What I've learned from my previous games (all two of them) is that I tend to misread aggression as scummy behavior.
Now, the one time I saw aggression and let it put me on tilt* I was correct in reading Void as scum (MM8 for those playing along at home) but that was the exception that proves the rule. I was reading him as scum for all the wrong reasons. I don't think that's what's going on here; I'm fairly certain (well, as certain as I ever get with such things) my initial read of Karn was a misread and what I'm reading as infuriatingly aggressive obfuscation is in reality active scumhunting.
Karn--what in particular is scummy about 212? I'm missing something, I think, because it doesn't strike me as scummish.
-=-
In looking back at Karn's posts and coming to that half-assed conclusion, I also reread his exchanges with MDenham. Factoring in my assumed misread of Karn, I'm coming around on Denham as well. His concerns about his play and the game come across as genuine, especially in light of requesting replacement. I think that was another misread on my part.
I like this reasoning. If we were in a situation with a complete random reshuffle each Dawn it'd make more sense for the scum to bus their buddies and just go balls-to-the-wall and hope to shuffle into the town before endgame; however, I don't think we're in for a totally random reshuffle (the rules are quite clear to use "can" and not "will"; my suspicion is that one scum becomes town and one town becomes scum each dawn). It makes sense to me in that case (one-for-one swap each dawn) for the scum to play more conservatively and not tip their hands this early day one. The more conservative play is exactly what Denham outlined there--whichever scum didn't jump on a wagon sits back to see if one of the wagons takes off, voting at a time that looks less suspicious.
-=-
I'm not digging Helix's posts at all, especially 229. He's definitely reading scummish to me. Throwing up his hands and OMGUSing that quickly is suspicious.
EWP: Helix--What, in particular, did you notice about that interaction between Karn and Denham you quoted in 234? Just throwing two megaquotes up with no explanation of the connection doesn't advance the discussion.
*That said, I almost let Arnaria's comment of "have none of you read Seppel's rules" tilt me this game for the exact same reasons, but I wisely took a step back and calmed back down.
Still massively getting the My First Scum Game(TM) vibe from Helix with the "but I'm innocent" defense so I'm cool running him up to claim at least
Teia slunk off the disintegrating MDenham wagon, she can go ahead and hop over here
I didn't really think MDenham (hard not to type Martha every time) was scum, you guys were just sort of riding him for no reason. To the best of my recollection though I have only played with him once in a Flamingo game where we were scumbuddies and I didn't read the Clans game that he played in. I did not follow why "Jay is scum" was a possibility in the "vote analysis" he just posted either, but I think that's just him trying to play with logic instead of balls, aka the wrong way.
Karn asked me about Arnnaria and Wildfire as well, I already posted that Arnnaria's stance on Karn vs MDenham didn't really make sense and I didn't see an answer.
It's possible that Helix is actually town and I gave scum Wildfire a nascent wagon to /barn, I think we'll figure that out soon enough
Here's my thoughts on how things look at the moment:
MDenham: First poster, first RVS, first legit accusation. He definitely came out the gates hot and heavy, garnering three votes, but it's sort of tapered off since then. He's claimed VT, but it's a pretty soft claim. I'm still leaning scum on him. The whole replace out thing is kind of a curveball though.
Sir Karn: Also an early poster, also got hit fast with votes out of the gates that have stagnated since them. Aggression is high here. I was ready to write him off as town, but something about the recent exchange with MDenham, where they both unvoted each other and were suddenly chummy just rubs me the wrong way. It could be legit, with both MDenham and Karn being town, but it feels to me more like a simultaneous semi-bus into "okay you're actually cool" to make people think they're both town when they're really both scum.
Kaburi: I don't think we've seen enough out of him to really tell. As he said, he doesn't post a ton. That could be an indicator of scumminess, staying out from the action, but it could just be him being him. He's waffled quite a bit without making a vote, but so have others (myself included), and there are people yet to vote. I'm going to say town.
ER: Off the bat with a null vote joke, fairly sparse posting since. Vote on the Kaburi wagon. I can't draw a solid conclusion here.
Tom: Also an early null vote joke, also been fairly sparse (at least compared to Karn and Arnnaria) since, also on the Kaburi wagon. He's posted a bit more than ER though, and I'm leaning town on him.
Teia: 212 is as self-aware and setup gaming as everyone keeps yelling at me for. If that's a scum tell, I'm calling scum here.
Helix: I posted earlier about suspicions about the late check-ins, and Helix storms in to confirm them. His first few posts are, as GM pointed out, very "My first scum", and his defensive posts following that up only dig that hole deeper (especially the reactionary Sir Karn vote).
Gerrard's Mom: I'm getting town vibes despite the late arrival.
Arnnaria: The big exchange with Karn definitely paints them as different sides of the conflict. Since I'm leaning scum on Karn that puts her in town.
Jay: Consensus seems to be that he's obvtown.
Specific: He's giving off some strong town vibes, but I'm still kind of concerned about some of his questions, particularly the "day kill Teia" one. If I had to draw some conclusions, I'd guess he has a day-usable power, likely some sort of investigator. As for why Teia? I don't know. Maybe he investigated her and found something of interest.
BV: He's only posted a few times, but this has involved some votes. I'm undecided here.
Wildfire393: I'm not sure this guy understands how to play forum mafia. Too much setup gaming could be a scum tell. I'm going to write it off as noobness for now though.

Vote Helix
What are your reads on: MDenham; Arnnaria; Wildfire.
Because I know you're a veteran (in this group, at least) and sowing discord is a primary scum tactic.
You completely left out your second reason the first time. And you still haven't explained how yoy got to the conclusion that MDenham "vanished".
To your credit, quick and rapid responses are usually a good sign, though.
He's not currently around to apply pressure or communicate with.

So all I need to do is not post in the thread for ~16 hours and you'll vote someone else because I "vanished"?
BRB
I'm back.
So that's a yes?
If you were gone for 16 hours and another opportunity presented itself to interact with a player that I previously had not interacted with and wanted to interact with, yes I would shift my vote.
And you are either not listening to my responses or even acknowledging the questions I'm posing to you. I'm fine with you grilling me, but you are being just as circuitous as you are claiming I am being.
Provide evidence for that claim.
I answered your vanished comment here.
You did not answer these two questions.

What part of GM's post, specifically, contains the logic you agree with and find "sound enough" to vote?
Please list the reasons behind your vote in your own words.
You have really short patience then? 16 hours isn't long in Mafia time.
I didn't say "felt better" meant "cleared".
Why does MDenham no longer deserve pressure? Oh, you already answered - he stopped posting for 16 hours.
Sorry for being a drag, guys.

unvote.
Scumreads: Wildfire, Arnnaria, Helix, -maybe- Kaburi (he really needs to post more).
I don't know where I want to put my vote yet. I'm going to bed - voting is a task best left for the morning.

I bused early and hard in CCM7, and it worked well enough until I was copped. That was more the exception than the rule, but I don't think it's entirely outside the realm of possibility for scum to decide it's a good idea to bus each other.
If you treat the scum roles like a game of hot potato, then getting rid of the other scum roles quickly means that the town's overwhelming numerical advantage levels the playing field somewhat.
Elaborate.
Leaving aside the issue of why you'd ask this question to begin with (as other have pointed out), I have to wonder why you'd single me out there.

I walked away because there's no proof of an extra kill yet. If there is, the comment is there as a means to return to it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Sure let's discuss it. Wildfire was preoccupied with worrying about a second kill. I overlooked the fact that someone (you) had planted that idea in his head because I missed the fact that you had planted that idea in his head.
Well if Teia does drop dead, I suppose that would be suspect. But now that the idea is out there, it's probably null at best.

Case for Wildfire:
#70 - He leans towards SirKarn and MDenham, with little in the way of reasons, and is cautiously supportive of Specific.
#77 - Now he's leaning towards GM and Helix, for no real reason given for his switch or the new picks other than that they haven't posted.
#105 - Fishing attempt (Scum Info)
#118 - More support of Specific, for no reasons given.
More later, I have to run.

Vote: Helix
Plus the huge hesitation to commit to anything:
These coupled with your continuous lack of scumhunting, but still finding time to defend yourself, gives the conclusion of you being scum.
What has he done to be super scummy? I have not noticed it at all.
