Also - Rhand - I've noticed that early game we're fine... it's late-mid to late game where I always end up scum reading you... and it never fails. I can't quite pin point it yet but I think I'm getting closer and hopefully soon.
I think I know why. When half the game is townreading me early, I stop worrying about my appearance and go into bulldog mode. Which everyone always finds scummy
I was really happy with how the game turned out on paper when we churned it out and put it through the review process. I thought the Boros seemed a bit inelegant but didn't really have any suggestions for how to improve it so I green-lit it. I'm glad everyone seemed to like it.
Just an aside, though - Axelrod: If your goal was to waste the scum's Nightkill by directing it towards Obzedat...wouldn't it have made more sense to out the fact that he was in the game as a hidden player?

I agree with this Rhand. It wasn't until the PoE phase where I had it in my head that Simic had a scum and we stopped seeing eye to eye and you became focused that I lost faith in your towniness.
Otherwise this game was pretty fun. The last few Days were a bit rough, but thankfully Zinda and Axel were able to keep me somewhat focused.
I feel like Meg did a great job on the balance and nothing felt out of whack. We spent a good deal of time obsessing about Obzedat but it didn't feel excessive or like it hurt the game in any way.
I vote DCIII for Town MVP and definitely Scarbo for Scum MVP. They were able to hold their teams together respectively for quite some time. DCIII lost it a little towards the end, but so did all of us.

Well, what I was mainly hoping was to keep the scum in the dark about what Obzedat was and who he was (assuming he wasn't scum himself and just trying to play me in some way), so it would continue to be a distraction for them. I thought it was better they assume he was a person in the game controlling the vote, on the general principle that the less they know the better. And if they decided to try to "kill" him and wasted it, then that would just be a bonus. In hindsight, the chances they would actually try and do that seem quite small, but I didn't know what kind of special abilities they might have. And I did assume that Obzedat could be eliminated permanently in some way (I thought probably by lynching, but there might have been something else.) I was surprised when he popped up again.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
I think my only problem with this game was how terrible the protection was. The actual ability with the guildmaster being able to focus them every other day or so is okay, probably just a little weak, but then you add in 1 extra kill for the scum that ignores the protection and the hitman that ignores protection every single night (no one should be surprised this bothers me ) and it starts to look really bad. Plus most of the boros claimed their guild day 1 (I think everyone but prophy did, but my memory has been known to be terrible in the past). In a game where scum played just a bit tighter, they could have wrecked the town's protection systematically.
And since people are complaining about deadvision comments in spec chat, I'm going to go ahead and complain about hindsight comments in postgame chat. ZDS was not utterly obvscum, even if it wasn't his best game.
Also I want it on record that Meg told me I was dead and roleblocked n2 because I was the last to submit actions, so my choice to target Rhand didn't have much thought behind it . Not sure who I would have picked though.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.

This is true. I remember thinking that I was going to have trouble getting people to listen to me about a ZDS lynch in 50 words or less and then you eliminated that barrier entirely.
As chaotic as the Town was as times, the non-protective PRs were used to good effect.
