Giving him one chance at alternate win condition and there are ~reasons~ to believe in 4 mafia.
Plus, I really doubt only 3 scum given two guns + a SK existing. That's a lot of non-mafia kill power that could wipe them out fast and be really swingy.
Well, not really. If we quick-lynch him, it won't matter. The item has to be activated at L-1, not before or after. At least, according to Brinatoo. So if he's town and telling the truth, we just have to coordinate our votes so Ghosting's not at L-1 for more than few seconds/minutes.
True, but that would take three nights. I have to get the gun toNight, reload it N5, then I can shoot N6.
Or we can just lynch him twice.
But like I said, if Brinatoo's telling the truth it's not an issue anyway. We can just quick lynch Ghosting, though it will require some coordination from us.
I think my gut believes in Hunger scum over Brinatoo, but I can't really articulate that lynch, so there's probably better options.
I think we're pretty well set, someone should just...hammer it.
got some okay service here but mobile posting sucksunvote vote: Brinatoo yea I'm the last, just wanted to see if I could outlast Ghosting. I didn't want him to win because I played my heart out for my role(only lied about self save and you'll see my plan in scum chat) and he scumreads me for the wrong reasons but ended up being right which is annoying. If his alternate wincon is a lie, yak now what to do. Also this game was too swingy for a normal. Way too many items and I only felt We had a good chance predayvig. Sure it could be argued town could lose early with vigshots but there was so much stuff to avoid and I even think a mass claim could have broke the game and potentially win it for town. I haven't done the math yet but I think it's there.
Also Blos, I don't remember if I explained it but I intended to mention that my Silver ploy was purposefully done like that simply because of me being governor and wanting to sit on the hammer position and I felt I wouldn't have too many opportunities to engage someone, so a replacement and the prior position of the slot was an opportunity to spawn behavior/reaction. So an honest play as governor. I do it much more often as town.
It's even swingier than you realize, as you'll see post game.
I basically completely neutered your team with items, and it'd have only gotten worse if you weren't today's lynch, heh.
Good game, though, you had some pretty good tonally town posts on Day One, but then you started to fixate on role, and didn't do enough solving, so steadily fell down my reads list.
Iso probably won't be able to get to the thread until tomorrow night, so preemptive celebration time (for living players only, because Ghosting still exists).
Yea I got quite a bit defeatist with the Kraj shot and especially the Mato prodding. But at that point I was sure only crazy plans could work. And ultimately I'm glad I didn't go overboard on effort because I would've been pretty frustrated about wasted effort given the setup.
I knew bloscovi knew since I passed my awesome item. No way a neutral does anything but keep it.
But I'm pretty stoked the scumteam never suspected.
Passing me that was so great for reasons you can't even fathom.
I was literally the best player in game to pass it to purely from a role perspective, not even taking into account the entire (scum are 100% always going to shoot me by n3) thing.
It crossed my mind and I said it D1 but I don't think it would have ever been brought up in scumchat because we were playing catch up while buried from an ever building avalanche. Literally we hoped you both were neutral and ignored that possibility in the hopes we had a chance. Find motivation.
I enjoyed playing with you for what it's worth, Brina. Just kind of lost interest in interacting with you after you started to slide down my scum spectrum. Maybe we'll be in another game sometime with me on one of my various names.
Probably said it enough but Silvercrys was a phenomenal replacement and really helped out the game. He deserves a Gold Star just for his replacement quality I think.
Lol. Well, maybe it was mroe effort, but it didn't affect the game state much. At least it didn't seem like it. TS kept suspecting you, we still thought Ghosting was scum, and he still didn't get lynched.
I found out later in day 1 that I was town, not neutral when Iso pointed it out. My role was not called town, I had no town win condition, and only had the lover drawback and my PP7. Hell, my role name wasn't even blue.
I thought about coming clean, but realized that at this stage, being honest only puts a target on mine/NAG's head so I just kept my mouth shut.
Well, Brinatoo admitted he's the last scum. So once the lynch scene hits. And you escape, if that's what's going on. But you can't win if that isn't going to happen, we'll just lynch/vig you until you die. So yeah, pretty much. At least as far as I'm concerned.
To save everyone some time, I don't have any alternate win condition (what a crazy surprise, lol). I planned on taking the laptop back from Blosc if we mislynched today, because I can take items from living and dead players. Then I had planned to just hope for the best from that point out by milking the alternate win condition and careful play; I doubt I could've lasted until the end though, TS made that impossible.
Going to post more when I'm off work, this was definitely a fun game though. Good job everyone.
Hunger claims to have already passed the door decoder, so if you see that he is the wolf.
@ghosting
IIRC your last item is matowar's blocker. That should probably go to me or seppel, as we should have nothing to do tonight.
I don't want Seppel to have it, just in case.
brinatoo (4): NAG, ghosting, silvercrys, bloscovi
ghosting (3): prophylaxis, hunger, prophylaxis, brinatoo, seppel
That's helpful.
Sarcasm may be involved.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
No. Silver was Hardwood.
He's basically lock town from his own play + some behind the scenes item stuff.
He has an ammo clip, and it could be useful as the game PoE's down.

Ghosting will either leave the game tonight or get lynched tomorrow.
Oh crap, or loot brinatoo's corpse and be able to stop that from happening...
Yeah, lynching ghosting today might be a good idea.
But just playing the odds, if brinatoo is village and truthful, that could go fairly badly for us.
Unvote
But that's solvable by Silver shooting him with the gun he gets from TCM, I guess?
Or we can just lynch him twice.

Good job, good play, guys.
I'd be so salty you have no idea if it means he wins at the expense of town.
Great game guys. Glad I caught one to reduce the sting of defending two others.
<redacted> <redacted> <redacted>
tl;dr - obviously, which is why there were 4 scum, not 3.
You played a pretty strong game early and faked the neutral mindset quite well, with the decreasing activity.
But everyone got different role pms or whatever.
I got Ace Attorney and Twinborn mixed up for reasons I can't quite fathom myself.
So, yeah. Exchange references to Twinborn across most of this game with Ace Attorney and it'll probably make more sense. Heh.
Good game guys.
But I'm pretty stoked the scumteam never suspected.
(Ghosting isn't dead, and never know, so not spilling beans yet there)
Passing me that was so great for reasons you can't even fathom.

Oh well.
Game solved virtually.
That dual ISO you did of myself and Ghosting was more effort than like 90% of the game did total, in two posts.
You replaced into a slot that most of the game wanted to lynch, and turned into my top town read by the end of the day cycle.
That's seriously impressive, and you beyond succeeded at the thing that is most critical for town to do - be read as town by other town.
Just have to wait for the lynch scene now, I guess.
