Funk it. I'm Town Rolecop. I was redirected N1 and have a result that I'm sitting on and since AE gave me permission, I have a result on him, which doesn't seem very scum oriented, he's not the Kraken owner, he's not the alignment hider. The reason I think he is town is because of the Non-Factional wording in his role, which I won't go into too much more detail on, but part of it is that he saw what I did to him (this is not the case for my target night 1). I don't think that part is necessary in a scum role pm. It is possible it is in a scum role to balance with AZ, but the rest of his ability doesn't seem very scum like.

How are you two talking?
This very much matters. So...
Part of his role is to see what people do to him. He saw what I did to him. That's the only way we've communicated.
Also people need to unvote me before my last bit of info is lost to a speed hammer.
Also here comes some sweet self meta, check my hammer tendencies as town and compare that to my scum games. I’m way more careful as scum.
Enough about me. You guys are acting like the dota Lynch was a mislynch. Wait till you get an alignment to crucify me. Some one talk to me about Rhand getting dead after being targeted by Dota’s Ability
1. My win condition is to stay alive. Currently, I'm alive. The status quo works for me. Visiting people in the night, potentially allowing unknown and potentially hazardous events to occur, could change that.
2.. Was clearly a mislynch, just like D1. Especially with that role-name. Someone else who should never have been run up, much less hammered, from a behavioral standpoint.

I'm way too lazy to go find it.
But Azreal made the exact same comment in Mindscrew of part one when I was ******* with him a lot.
I think I either got Roleblocked last night or the person I targeted is scum. I'm having a hard time accepting that a role that stops targeting would exist when so many other roles are targeting based.
Here's a little tidbit to chew on. AZ specifically asked someone to rolecop him before I claimed. He also expressed a hesitancy to target AE at the start of today. Why?
So let me get this straight. N1 terry was redirected to rolecop AE, and in return AE's mirror ability (for nonfactional abilities I'm guessing, otherwise really confused where nonfactional came up to cause AE to think Terry was the neutral but not insta vote Az) rolecopped Terry. Terry hasn't claimed a N2 target but wants to lynch Az.
All of this makes me wonder why Terry didn't target Az N2. Especially since the existence of AE's role makes it even harder for Az to fulfil his scary win con, as opposed to just surviving (I think I've got this all straight).

There might be another option. It kind of depends on what your role is though. I can say more but it might reveal some stuff that could be better kept hidden.
Actually this might help. You say you were redirect to Terry night 1, did you use the same ability that you tried to use last night, and if so, was it successful when you used it on Terry?

Well part of this is wrong, the other part is a scum slip.
I never said AE's ability was a mirror ability and neither did AE. That means AE and Grape are scum together! You going to claim neighbors with him too? I demand answers now!
Can someone that is town please come in and look over this with me. I think that is a honest to god scum slip netting two scum. Please read!
Is AE’s ability a mirror ability? As in does it Mimick whatever was done to him or does it just tell him what targeted him? Because if it’s the former then that’s suspect, but why would Grape get the day wrong, and if it’s he latter then no, it isn’t a slip.

@AE: why did you assume Terry was neutral and not scum?
PHEW! Shadow is town!!!
I mean, yes, but how does that post confirm me exactly?
It's a straight up town analysis of the situation. I'm against the ropes and an easy Lynch, but you are actually exploring the options and asking questions from an investigative position. AE assumed I might be neutral because for some reason he questioned that I was town. He didn't think that I was maybe scum because he knew I wasn't.
I'm really nervous that I'm going to lead us into a death spiral here, but I think that was a legit slip. And yes I am well aware that I used slips as scum last game, but I'm doing what I can here. I have more leg work to do, just don't Lynch me until end of the day if you are.
Thank you Archmage. I'm ok claiming, but my claim alone won't really save me, so in a way, tom is right. If I don't want to get mislynched I need to put some leg work into it, but with no flips I don't see a ton of help I can be.
I will say that Archmage knows my role. I won't say how. I will flavor claim.
I'm Sharkbait, Navigator. I'm curious to see where Archmage takes this baton I've handed him.
Also you seem very antsy for someone at L-2. Lot's of urges to unvote with promises of more information rather than just sharing the information you think is important.

And you clearing shadow for wondering why AE thought you were neutral while accusing me for deducing his role and asking the same questions as shadow gives me pause.

To be fair, you think a lot of things are legit slips...however, I’m not discounting you here, I think there’s definitely more discussion on the table. For what it’s worth, you’re putting in effort, but I don’t trust you yet.
Also you seem very antsy for someone at L-2. Lot's of urges to unvote with promises of more information rather than just sharing the information you think is important.
@AE: why did you assume Terry was neutral and not scum?
Because he targeted me. I thought non-factional meant players with no faction...ie neutral. Not town or scum. Thats why I wanted AZ to target me.
Oh, how the tide has turned now that you and Grape got caught. Before the slip, it seemed like you were pretty willing to White knight me.
Ummmmm, no. Where'd you get that? The unvote comment? They were coming fast. Wanted everyone to slow down. Funny how you saw that and tried getn a wagon on AZ. The neutral.
Also you seem very antsy for someone at L-2. Lot's of urges to unvote with promises of more information rather than just sharing the information you think is important.
Well I am town and have seen first hand how fast a Lynch can come down and you just slipped HUGELY (like Donald Trump says it). I'm not going to push this slip until I'm good and sure. I have a line of evidence I want to follow before the day ends, even if it ends in my Lynch.
It's really looking more like you and AE are pretty antsy with 0 votes each.
Also you seem very antsy for someone at L-2. Lot's of urges to unvote with promises of more information rather than just sharing the information you think is important.
I’m just going to put this on the table, because I don’t want another mistborn, but it’s totally possible that Terry and Grapefruit are scum together and Grape legit slipped and Terry decided to capitalize on the mistake before anyone else might have noticed it. It would be a very bold move, possibly stupid on their part, even more so if dawning or Dota were scum. I don’t think this scenario is remotely likely, I just want it on the table as possible for endgame consideration.
@Terry I'd hardly call that vague. It seemed pretty clear.
@Shadow I don't really see any others, that was the point of that statement. Before Terry claimed they hadn't spoke I was wondering if he was a rolecop/neighborizor or other neighbor variants, but the "we haven't spoke" eliminated anything I could think of except action mirroring.
And engaged and energetic is good, but multiple calls to unvote and promises of future information isn't what I think of as town behavior under pressure.

I disagree about that being the only option. I assumed it was something like one of the scum roles in ZE, where it reflexively tells you what you’ve been targeted by.

That's what I was going for. To assume it was exactly what it was seems a bit too coincidental.

Terry explicitly said that (seeing what happened to him) was part of the role but not all of it. He was also confident that AE knew it came from him and that AE would his role. It's not a hard conclusion to reach that the other part is mirroring the action.

I might know actually.
Well have been able to piece it together.
But this still matters I think. I'm not 100% on board with this yet.

Not sure why I put the question mark there lol at waiting for AZ to clarify things
I thought he was lying about targeting me and thought Terry was neutral. Which is why I asked that question.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
For this not as relevant.
However. For others it might be.
I'm weighing my options for the other part.
I think I either got Roleblocked last night or the person I targeted is scum. I'm having a hard time accepting that a role that stops targeting would exist when so many other roles are targeting based.
Am I just missing that part of your claim?
All of this makes me wonder why Terry didn't target Az N2. Especially since the existence of AE's role makes it even harder for Az to fulfil his scary win con, as opposed to just surviving (I think I've got this all straight).

Half your posts make me say "WTF".
What are you trying to insinuate here? Why would scum rolecop claim all the information?
Thanks to DNC at Heroes of the plane studios for this awesome sig and SGT_Chubbz for the awesome avy.

Also Unvote, I want to hear from Grape.

With you claiming rolecop these quotes kinda narrowed the possibilities of what his role could be.

I think he is scummy, grasping at anything he can to get the attention off him and onto others.
Thats what I was wondering too.
