So I had a bit of a rough day and didn't get around to things. Life is frustrating some times. Oh well.
Doing a much quicker set of reads from ISO rereading (Going from most to least active players):
I like Tom's attitude this game. #151 and #258, #259 also don't seem as likely to come from scum Tom. As I mentioned earlier, I like his uncertainty on me, though he certainly could be (and seems to be) playing it up a bit. Lots of mindmeld here as well. Light townread.
Shadow is cautious, especially in regards to me. He straight-out doesn't seem to know what he thinks of me this game. He's acting pretty casual in general; I think this is him trying to shore up his town game in 2018. Light townread.
Mikey is laidback. Lots of interaction analysis, which I like a lot, because it's something I've been wanting to think more about as either alignment. Most of his posts are content, which looks good. I'm a little concerned that he's not thinking about enough different people (though this could just be tunnel-vision to a degree), and the counting slip is really bad-looking. But I see what Tom is seeing; his posts are generally good. After looking at another game of his, meta-readers would probably put him higher in their reads, but I am not one of those. I think without the counting slip I might put him at a townread, for now I'm at Townlean.
ISO'ing Ruma is a bit annoying because of the long posts of numbers without quotes or links to posts. Pretty ehh response to Anak in #148, kinda white knighting for Mikey there. His net play is just different from what I've seen from him, but then again his only game here was flaily scum and out of the two games I saw from him over on MAL, the TvT one was what I would consider to be a really bad town game on his part, and the other one, I was scum actively trying to make him look bad, so YMMV. I don't agree with some of his reads, and I feel like he's kinda just spouting words at times. He doesn't have a tendency to be this prolific, so while on the one hand I like it, on the other hand, it's a little concerning. I've done this as town, so I'm not completely convinced that it's problematic, and the formatting is probably throwing me off... I don't like that his read on me seems to be somewhat inorganic. Overall, I'm not sure what to think here. I don't have a hard scumread or a hard townread. Neutral
Vezok is flipping around like a fish out of water. We get things like hard reads on wine, voting for someone while agreeing with someone else saying that person is town, and a ton of putting things off or not wanting to put in the work. Also, overall, to quote DV from another game, his macro doesn't match his micro. One example of this is with #75 and #103, where he tries to bait Shadow, then admits to it, but doesn't pursue it, instead going somewhere else. He's just saying stuff, trying to look like he's doing things. Scumread.
Cantrip's reads and questions both feel real. I'm not happy about the pockety behavior and I'm not happy about the Anak thing, or that I got pulled off of Vezok to be light pressure instead of claim pressure. And Cantrip at least superficially fits into several worlds. But I think he's net town. His reads on me and Mikey are a bit too subtle for scum, IMO. Light townread.
Anak is self-centered (#250), and his arguments are angleshooty (#154, #53). Anak does not look good to me this game in the slightest. Strong Scumread.
Dawning I have a bit more beef with right now for OoG than Ruma. But history aside, I was noticing earlier that she wasn't posting much. And her response is that she's been fairly inactive most games here, which isn't really true of Zero Escape. But okay, looking at the content of her posts, she's reading people's motivations (#198, #247). I like this. A lot. Townlean with potential for townread under certain yet-to-be-seen conditions.
Considering the reads here, lets talk about a fun world where I'm town. Who are then your top scumreads and why?

Probably Vezok + Ruma purely on POE, with a possible side of Mikey mainly because of the counting slip.
I don't necessarily (though massclaims are often a good way for town to solve), but I figured from Cantrip's request for pressure that he meant L-2, so that was strange. That said, the closest things town can have to an informative are either the vig or the jailkeeper, so claims are much less useful here, I suppose.
I've been dubious of osie this entire game... And I'm still undecided. Thinking of the claim and my suspicions.... I really dont like the way in which osie claimed an unprovable role. I dont like it.

I am also called Riku. I tend to prefer being called riku.
That's two people specifically throwing shade on a VT claim. Which is weird because there's literally at least 5 in this game...
But they're both MAL peeps, iirc setups are crazy over there?
Might be fun to townread ruma AND dawn for clearly not knowing the setup, but that seems like a bad idea for both of them specifically
Honestly, my bigger issue is I can't work out why Osie felt the need to claim. It didn't seem necessary at the time he did. Though, I may be misreading the situation there. :/ Especially with how osie's saying he thinks the people voting him are those he finds scummy. I guess I can kinda see it, but not really? I'm looking for the light, here.

If I'm the lynch, when I flip town, go after Vezok first. I'm no longer as convinced on Anak.
Why have you changed your mind on Anak?
It's mostly due to AOE, and I'm still scumreading him, just not as strongly. I just think his response is slightly more likely to come from town!Anak than scum!Anak. But his posts still mostly suck either way.
And he looks like a pretty viable cantrip partner...
Though i will say claiming at L-2 is ~standard for mtgs. But as I alluded to, it doesn't translate well to a 9 player game. Especially when it's a claim that doesn't save you in any way and makes the game easier for scum...
But it's not beyond the realm of possibility he didn't think it through...
@Tom: Talk to me about Dawning a little bit. You mentioned that “want to lynch her therefor par for the course” sort of read, but not much else. What do you make of her being miles less posty this game?
Also, I’m having trouble seeing what you’re saying about Cantrip; I got excited that maybe you’re onto something, and I went back to read his first 20 or so posts from horsemen, but the only real difference is he makes more jokes in the beginning of that one than here. ELI5 because I don’t get it, the only way I’ve ever been able to catch Cantrip is mentality tells later in the game.
@Ruma: can you try to respond maybe just to posts that you have a little more to say on, or quote the more important ones? I have no desire to try and read your commentary on posts in that format.
I've been dubious of osie this entire game... And I'm still undecided. Thinking of the claim and my suspicions.... I really dont like the way in which osie claimed an unprovable role. I dont like it.
@Dawning:
• In 267, the only thing you mentioned about Anak was his RVS posts. What do you think of his subsequent posts?
• I like your 273. Feels like you're trying to figure out Osie's mindset.
• What's your point in 287 about Osie's claim not being provable?
@Cantrip I have on more than one occasion as town made posts attempting to keep myself alive, or draw some sort of attention or nightkill instead of scumhunt. While scumhunting wasn't the main focus, it was present, but I feel like town can eschew that more often than you are considering. Also, my apologies you referenced having an agenda to Mikey instead of me, mixed it up.
Ok, I can accept this. I feel like when I'm defending myself, it's not so much an agenda because it's expected. Drawing the NK, however, is a good counterexample of when Town could have an agenda. But that kind of agenda usually presents as town-leading and/or "I have a secret", not the kind of agenda that raises suspicion of scumminess.

Rumanishi: Need to spend more time reading, having a hard time remembering anything of significance. This may be more my fault than Ruma's, so want to try and fix myself before claiming that they are just lurking.
I like this. It sounds way more gracious than I think most scum would be willing to be.
@Anak: Talk to me about Tom. Have you gotten any closer to figuring him out? What do you think of his attack on me/refusal to engage me in discussion? Also, re: Osie, you say he seems to be "almost artificially" appearing to be helpful and beneficial. Have you played many games with him? I feel like his default is being "helpful and beneficial". I remember that very distinctly from Avalon in particular (pretty sure we (the scumteam) used it as a point of attack on him).
@Ruma:
• In 286, you respond to Osie's 251 and say "admittedly a valid point", as though you are conceding something. But, afaict, you weren't involved in that conversation up to that point, Explain how what Osie said was a "valid point"?
• In response to my 256, you say that Mikey's "reactions following though, make it less then likely". Are you saying his reactions make you think it less likely that he's scum? And I more often see scum trying to pretend something didn't happen when they're new scum; experienced scum know that ignoring something like that leads to trouble (unless the town is completely lazy, which I'm not seeing here).
• I am...feeling a lot less happy with you. The first set of stream of consciousness posts felt organic, but now you're responding to large, complex posts with one liners and (more) vagueness. This does not constitute content.
@Osie: Re: 299 I'm confused as to why you're (currently) unhappy about being pulled off one scumread (Vezok) onto (what is now) a stronger scumread for you (Anak). I get why you would have been upset about that then, but if you're more strongly reading Anak as scum...why are you frustrated about it? I liked some of Anak's 273, although I still want more content from him. What's angleshooty, in your opinion, about his #53?

It's pretty standard on this site to claim at L-2, even if you're suspicious of the players on your wagon. That's why I didn't want three votes on Anak yet; I wanted pressure to get more content from him, but didn't feel like a claim was warranted yet.
It's mostly due to AOE, and I'm still scumreading him, just not as strongly. I just think his response is slightly more likely to come from town!Anak than scum!Anak. But his posts still mostly suck either way.
Remind me what AOE is? And you say you think his response is slightly more likely to come from town than scum...but he hasn't responded since you had him at "strong scumlean" in 299?
Cantrip... already talked about the playing to an audience thing. Got some more questions about it, but it's literally just me trying to explain a gut read in a way people might understand. And his response to it was... well it was scummy. He's not trying to figure out if I'm scum pushing him with it if he really doesn't understand (mitigated by him apparently townreading me for some reason). But if that's so, the response would be more about changing my mind than just sort of... noting that it makes no sense then pretending it didn't happen.
It's hard to figure out if you're scum making a push on me or just mistaken town when your only argument is "Cantrip normally has a strong personality and I don't see it here". That doesn't sound like a "gut read"; it's pretty specific and sounds like you have something in mind. That's why I asked you to elaborate. But you're not responding; you're just continuing to say I'm scummy. Explain please.

Still no opinion on dawn. Doubt that activity level is AI for her.
And I've said what I have to say on cantrip. I get it's a weird read but I'm happy with it
I'll be home in a few hours and post more about this.
This push on Catripmancer when osie is at L-1 is exactly what I expect of a scumbuddy trying to derail the wagon on his team-mate.
oh bull*****. I started pushing cantrip before that.
And frankly if osi was my buddy id either bus the ***** out of him or actually defend him. Not this middle thing where I'm ok with him being lynched but not tryna get any credit for it
Yes these are the sort of questions you should have been asking before I called you out on it.
As I said, I don't think it's scummy of osi to have claimed. But 3 or 4 other people have been in claim range and just kept playing without looking ready to get lynched like osi.
@Cantrip/Osie: What do each of you think about the semi stalled strate of the game?
@Tom: give what would you expect town!cantrip to do in the scenario? It kind of feels like you’ve set up to be able to continue scum reading him regardless of what he says.
Also, if Osie’s scum, thoughts on Ruma’s vote on him?
Yes these are the sort of questions you should have been asking before I called you out on it.
*sigh*
a) Stop handwaving my questions.
b) After you point out where I was pretending it didn't happen, please explain how these questions are different from the questions I was asking before you "called me out on it".
Right up until you started tunneling me on a gut feeling because I wasn't "showing my personality", I had you as a light townlean. I'm trying to reconcile what I see as likely town!Tom with this unsupported push against me, and I'm thinking you're just mistaken town. So I'd still like to engage you. But if you continue to refuse, there's little I can do (except vote you, but I don't think you're scum). So engage, please.

Do you know this is true, or are you assuming? I thought Anak was the first to get to L-2 when Shadow and Osie joined me (and he didn't have a chance to claim before I put him back to L-3).
@Cantrip/Osie: What do each of you think about the semi stalled strate of the game?
Don't know. Maybe scum are holding their breath that someone will lynch Osie and don't want to upset the applecart? I feel like there's plenty to talk about. I know I've asked questions of many of the people who haven't posted recently, so I'm anxiously awaiting some responses.

I've already given well more explanation than I need to for what I'm openly calling a gut read.
Go away.

I’m asking questions that aren’t that hard; yes it’s a gut read, but you said Cantrip reacted how you’d expect him to as scum, which means you think he’d behave differently as town, and I want you to flesh that read out; especially since this is your strongest scum read. Because frankly I think it’s a garbage read and I know your actual gut reads have nuance.
@Osie #289: what was your idea getting into the game, then? #299: not sure how to feel about the sudden townlean on me, especially when you had me on your lowest reads.
@Rumanshi #291: Osie has been calculated as town tbf. Emcee isn't someone I'm that sure of yet. but both are more in my scumreads.
@Emcee #292: depends. if both of you were scum, it would make sense to not want to push you. or, he could've chosen to whiteknight you since you seem easy to pocket.
@Tom #394: "the usual troll player has lost the edge he has as town"? Rumanshi's playstyle is mostly pushing buttons as town, while just 'being there' as scum. #311: not sure what you mean by this, but this is my 1st grid setup. was thinking it's redundant for anyone outside the given grid to claim, since it would steer the lynch onto someone that claims a role IN the grid - making later lynches even more "in the dark". but overall, if you're VT, it's better to eat rope than drop it on PR by passing it around.
@Cantrip #323: I don't know how to read Anak. his posts have been good though, like Emcee's bad math. (how to read players you don't know well?)
my point about Osie's claim is that we don't have a cop in the setup, nor will his role have night actions to prove anything.

What do you think?
I've already given well more explanation than I need to for what I'm openly calling a gut read.
Go away.
I’m asking questions that aren’t that hard; yes it’s a gut read, but you said Cantrip reacted how you’d expect him to as scum, which means you think he’d behave differently as town, and I want you to flesh that read out; especially since this is your strongest scum read. Because frankly I think it’s a garbage read and I know your actual gut reads have nuance.
they do?
Do you actually think me not explaining something is scummy?
??? I'm not sure what you mean by this question, but I'd love to se more out of the game.
Anak responded in #302.
What would you take from getting "mislynched" here?
Don't play in games where I'm likely to roll vanilla town when I'm crazy busy?
Also that while my play might have not been great given the mislynch, I was not the only person playing badly this game.
I think a bunch of the things people are voting you for are just osi things and I can see why you'd post them regardless, at least if I squint.
But I feel like you've had a couple opportunities to be townie and none of them happened.
No, I just want more from you and hoped I could shock you into an irritated reaction. But it’s you, so this was unfortunately about what I expected I hate this line. Hate it.
Ugh, does scum!Osie actually think he can get away with a Vanilla claim or is he just town?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It sounded better in my head.
What do you think, honey-buns?
#289: what was your idea getting into the game, then?
#299: not sure how to feel about the sudden townlean on me, especially when you had me on your lowest reads.
@Rumanshi
#291: Osie has been calculated as town tbf. Emcee isn't someone I'm that sure of yet. but both are more in my scumreads.
@Emcee
#292: depends. if both of you were scum, it would make sense to not want to push you. or, he could've chosen to whiteknight you since you seem easy to pocket.
@Tom
#394: "the usual troll player has lost the edge he has as town"? Rumanshi's playstyle is mostly pushing buttons as town, while just 'being there' as scum.
#311: not sure what you mean by this, but this is my 1st grid setup. was thinking it's redundant for anyone outside the given grid to claim, since it would steer the lynch onto someone that claims a role IN the grid - making later lynches even more "in the dark". but overall, if you're VT, it's better to eat rope than drop it on PR by passing it around.
@Cantrip
#323: I don't know how to read Anak. his posts have been good though, like Emcee's bad math. (how to read players you don't know well?)
my point about Osie's claim is that we don't have a cop in the setup, nor will his role have night actions to prove anything.
Be grateful, always."
