KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

...What if tom was coaching Vaimes in daychat how to be town? He knows town Vaimes. He knows what people look for.
hi yes thats something im good at.
Vaimes played very well/confidently this game. But only got worse and less motivated as the game went on/his buddies died. Thats not how it goes if it was me and him having a great time
if its important i could find the posts but it was him talking about rod in faction chat and i had already figured out rod was targ (i thought he was daenarys at the time, but was right about faction anyway)

Vaimes did seem like the perfect town as scum compared to how I normally see him as scum. So there is that, which is why i was eager to vote him for the throne.

Shin tell me who tom is scum besides the fact that it's not me.
who? Im just gonna assume how is what ya meant?
I mean I never had a reason to suspect tom all game so asking me to come up with reasons now seems kinda silly. If you hadnt stopped the night kill I would just be suspecting you over him.

Why would two scum be on XY here instead of anywhere else?
i mean the whole team was more concerned with looking good than winning...
But in that case theres two wagons with 2 scum on each which seems pretty normal?

I think that gave me a good idea for how to describe what feels off about Shinichi. I don't feel that he's trying to find scum, or persuade others to vote for his scumreads; I feel that he's trying to convince people that he's town.

Shin. You're acting like scum that's rolled over and given up. After Rhand outed, Vaimes outed, I don't necessarily blame you. But if you're town, you're very much not acting like it.

This attitude you speak of is a shinichi thing, its NAI sorry to say.
Only thing that really bothered me about tom all game, was him constantly pushing the world that mafia had to be spread out in the factions. I was always skeptical of that but now I know its becaause hes scum.
Its basically chris/rhand/x=y telling me theyre never really gonna be able to play the game fully so i decided to powerwolf with vaimes and win despite them.
To make this world work, i then did a terrible job of keeping vaimes motivated and decided i didnt care about winning later on...
I think this town is lightly overpowered? Scum had good roles (especially rhands to fight the town protection and chris to fight the nonscum KP) but all their roles were about stopping town roles and we just had so many layers of backups with the unlocks...
Wouldnt say townsided with 5 scum, the neutral, and the factions as distraction. But town still pretty OP.
Obviously that would be way worse if i was goon and shin was town cop (because make no mistake rolecop would have been straight up cop targeting rhand/vaimes and chris/x=y both lied about their roles). But as is its probably about right? Scum def had their chance and got close even.
I do dig that most of the game achieved at least one wincon though. Maybe everyone but rhand and the baratheons?
Not sure on lngrr or targs

With 3 alive it takes 2 to lynch. Deadline is June 22nd at 1400 MST.
A reminder about Iron Throne support: All support must be done via PM (either MTGS or discord), and can be changed as many times as you wish up until twilight is announced. I strongly recommend queuing it up sooner than later.

I very strongly feel like shin would try harder if he wasn't scum. I think his team let him down and he just... doesn't care.
Vote Shin
Godspeed all.
I applaud the logic but that is not true, i play how I want to play regardless of my alignment. MTGS just isn't used to that so they assume it makes me scum.
The more you play with me the more you will realize I had the norms and standards of mafia, I could careless how others actually feel about them as well. When I play mafia I play it the way i enjoy it the most.
Vaimes played very well/confidently this game. But only got worse and less motivated as the game went on/his buddies died. Thats not how it goes if it was me and him having a great time

Seems fair.
I didn't know town is supposed to act a certain way?
Tom is scum, is that not solved enough for you?
And pretty much guaranteed a 4th whether its the town win or the not voting one...
Think its probably time to just
vote shin i dont actually think its worth trying to convince him to self vote if/when kj gets it right
-Jon Snow
Shinichi (1): tomsloger
Not Voting (2): Shinichi, Killjoy
With 3 alive it takes 2 to lynch. Deadline is June 22nd at 1400 MST.
A reminder about Iron Throne support: All support must be done via PM (either MTGS or discord), and can be changed as many times as you wish up until twilight is announced. I strongly recommend queuing it up sooner than later.
Vote Shin
Godspeed all.
I applaud the logic but that is not true, i play how I want to play regardless of my alignment. MTGS just isn't used to that so they assume it makes me scum.
