I found the link for other themes, but all I really want to do is change the colors of the normal XP skins and themes. Does that require a download (and if so where could I find that) or is it something I can change within the program?
I wish I could help you further, but this has exceeded my knowledge. The only thing I can suggest is to mess around in the visual styles part of style xp.
Edit: I do know that the components of the default themes are stored somewhere in windows as .bmp's, so if you can find those, you can modify them to change the color.
The installer binary you are using is either installing an outdated DLL or is installing it to the wrong location.
Try a different build such as the 2.3.x dev one. Alternatively you can google for the offending DLL and try downloading a newer version - just remember to rename the original so it doesn't get deleted first.
It could be that Windows/Norton's built-in firewall is catching them. Open the Control Center and look in Security and see if the Windows Firewall is enabled, and if so, make sure MTGO (as well as any ports it might use) are approved.
I recently heard about a program called Songbird. I read it about it and it looked really cool so I downloaded it. But when I go to play the songs they won't play. CAN SOMEBDOY THAT HAS SONGBIRD HELP ME PLEASE
Well one of the features of Songbird is that it lets your search mp3blogs like elbows and singingfish. Then it will show you all the mp3's that are playable found on the website you are on. Then you could either play it or copy it into your library but I when I go to play it it wont play.
Oh in that case your initial question was completely unclear. Anyway, I think I get what you are asking, but I know nothing about Songbird so lets wait for BB who undoubtedly know all the ins and outs.
Also I take it these are legally distributed mp3's?
About the mp3's...I'm guessing they are because they are off singingfish.
But. That, I do not know for sure. Time to wait for BB.
This should be merged with the Technical Support Thread.

I know this seems like a dumb question, but do you have the proper codec installed to play the given file? (Can you play the same file in Windows Media Player?)
@ButteBlues: Let me explain.
I used Songbird to scan all my music files that are on WMP and to put them onto Songbird. Fortuantely, it did and put them in my library and pretty fast too. But when I go to play them they won't play. YES they do play in WMP but not in Songbird. Then the other songs I have are the ones that you can take from singingfish and put them directly into your "desktop library" as Songbird's video calls it.

Okay - it just sounds like for some reason Songbird never installed acknowledging the proper codecs.
I'd just uninstall it, and then reinstall it. Hopefully the problem should correct itself.
sneaky - I quite agree, for the time being. Wait until a 0.3 release, and by then, I'd say that support will be stable enough to warrant the switch.
Well, since it is a Developers preview and thus still in the alpha stage, its not done yet, and there are still lots of bugs in the codes. Probably, the most helpful thing you could do is to tell the developers about the bug. Try to be as specific as possible, like what hardware you have, what codecs you have, etc. I know there's a place on the site where you can do that.

Thank you for all the help. I found the problem when I went on as administrator account it worked but when I was on my user account it wouldn't paly. Would anybody know why that would happen??? Hopefully that is fixed in .3-1.0 of Songbird
Did you install Songbird as Administrator or as just your user? (It may be that Songbird installs locally rather than globally, in which case you'd want to temporarily give your user accounts admin priveleges so you can install Songbird under that account.
BB: Approxiamtely do you know when the next relaease will come out late November??
No clue!
But if any cool features are added in the svn (developmental stuff) branch and aren't released relatively soon after I think they're stable, I'll try and package some .exe's for Windows users and some Debs for Debian-based Linux users.
* kernel wasn't built with support for it
* the module isn't loading correctly
* there's no keymap made for that combination
You may wish to use the search on the Ubuntu forums, or on Launchpad for that.

Temporarily give your account Administrator status, install it under your account, then revert your account's status back to a regular user.
That should resolve your issue.

I already have gotten numerous songs and videos/shows. THANKS GUYS1!
the only problem is it's a little slow hopefully they fix that in the next version
The next release of Songbird is probably a lot better about it.

And how do you know all this stuff for Songbird.
Do you work for them??
I teach myself.
No - I couldn't code something anywhere near that elaborate to save my life! I'm just a big fan.
