whether it's because of a highly undesirable and systematic inability to recognize cards given their names***, or because of a misunderstanding of effects / my explanations of them, I think I'll re-explain.
The first case: People, more cards exist than the popular ones. Don't beat yourself up about it; most people (and I mean *most people*) that I speak to, when I say "Sky Swallower," they assume I'm using shorthand for Simic Sky Swallower.
It gets kinda sad after about the fifth person in a row in one night.
By the way, Simic Sky Swallower can very well have Auras put on, and remain on, it. It just doesn't like being targeted. That Auras target while they are spells is a non-issue for a deck that uses Hypergenesis to "put" into play.
The second case: There's this thing, called a mana pool, where mana waits to be spent. There's a tactic called floating mana, where you tap for mana, and then don't spend it right away; possibly because you're losing the mana source for some reason between tapping and spending... like if your opponent were gaining control of all your permanents, for instance.
Step 0: Acquire and suspend Hypergenesis. Acquire Sky Swallower, Fool's Demise, and Perilous Research into hand.
Step 1: Resolve Hypergenesis. Put Sky Swallower into play, then Fool's Demise into play on Sky Swallower.
Step 2: End Hypergenesis.
Step 3: Stack Sky Swallower trigger
Step 4: Tap for 1U
Step 5: Resolve Sky Swallower trigger
Step 6: Play and resolve Perilous Research. Sacrifice Sky Swallower.
Step 7: Opponent stacks and resolves Fool's Demise trigger. Opponent returns Sky Swallower to play.
Step 8: Opponent stacks and resolves Sky Swallower trigger. You gain control of every other permanent.
Step 9: Win the game as though your opponent just played a Sky Swallower (sucker)
Anyway.... I have a B/G build now. Yeah, I said it was impossible. But it's shaping up. It's fast with tutors, so I only need a little little anti-aggro; it's immune to nonblue nonblack control, and it only needs discard and Recollect to leash those two.

psy blast is nice but too much money. i try and keep the deck cheep. i like the cad dont get me wrong but i dont have $30 for one card let along $90 for a set. also the sheets help move mana out of my way with walk going off with the combo. if i hit land the combo may end expecaly if i need that instant or Sorcery to keep the combo going. i was going to cut the Shiven reefs for more snow islands and mountains. i hit those more then id like.

It's actually 15 snow permanents; all of them lands, and 14 if you don't count the one Scrying Sheets you already have out for this number to matter.
The real problem is, Walk the Aeons + Eye of the Storm is not a combo. It's really quite risky. You need to ensure your opponent has no instants, or you have many many more.
Since Walk costs 6, it's only likely that, to stop your opponent from interfering, you're gonna need Gigadrowse. Thankfully, Replicate *does* work through an Eye, and if you do this on his end step, he can't hijack your Drowses either.
What's the point of having Mystical Teachings if you can't Flashback and it doesn't fetch cany combo pieces? If you're saying it feeds for extra turns.... that's just wrong.
Don't run Stone Rain unless you're going to take land destruction seriously. Rite of Flame is also out of place. What is so desperately in need of an accelerated appearance? Why the inconsistent Rite of Flame, and not Seething Song? If you're losing focus to try to up a Storm count for Grapeshot, (a) that's just bad, as it is losing focus, but even (b) trust me, with Eye of the Storm, it's not necessary. The numbers get really stupid, really fast.
Reduce the deck to spells that work. Counterspells. Burn. Draw. OR, go with land detruction, mana accel, Volcanic Awakening. I think that the Volcanic Awakening deck will tempt some Johnny-Spikes for a while, but it'll never work. Go with the consistency of counterfire.
Oh, and, if your mana can handle it, why not run Reiterate? It's just a Fork for one more mana that does all the things Fork ever did, as long as you've got burn spells you'd like to go crazy with.

EDIT: Reiterate has Buyback, not Split second. It's horribly outside the pie; that's why I'm really angry at it, 'cause it makes me want to play Red just to copy spells.
Here's two more decks I have: The B/G Sky Swallower one (I'm going back to the name I used for the first one: Swallow Hole), and a Magus of the Mirror deck.
First let me say: Yes, there really is *no* other option than Moonlight Bargain for what this does. That could very well keep the deck off the charts.
Quick overview: If playing against control, abuse control the way W/B discard does that. If playing aggro, that's what your Wrath is there for; please use your other removal and your discard in tandem intelligently.
Get Magus into play, Angel's Grace and Moonlight Bargain into hand. If necessary ('cause your opponent is really bad, whatever), mana burn yourself that turn.
Your upkeep after laying Magus, play Angel's Grace. Then Moonlight Bargain, paying all your life. Then switch life totals. Win the game on your upkeep (then gloat about how you "couldn't lose that turn," and make all the jokes)
Oh why won't it all fit... God damn countermagic. I can see why people hate it.
The thing is, if I just assume I'll never see any... the deck is too easy to build. But to account for countermagic... my game against aggro is crippled.
I can't think of an SB plan. All I've got are other discard, and a couple of things that discard/permission really don't like (Grave-Shell Scarab). I've considered a trasnformational, with Brooding Saurian and good ol' fashioned Green hater spells....

@Horshoe Hermit: In response to your Sky swallower combo deck (the UG build on the last page) - There's no reason to not run remand in this deck. A +4/-4 swap for sage of epityr is ideal. The sages are weak, really weak and remand contends for the number one card in standard.
Peel from reality solves a serious problem in the deck. Not only does it work to keep the board clean until you make your drop (you don't care that they will just replay it: your tactic is to draw the game out until you can combo). It also solves the serious issue of losing to Sky Swallower. You need to have an answer to the junk-fattie your putting in your opponent't hand, and a bounce spell that lets you replay Carven Caryatid is perfect for that.
Greenseeker is also a little weak, I would replace with mystic snake. And up the land count to 24 (+3 lands make them painlands) with -3 careful consideration, -4 recollect (why are these here?). Oh, and beef up the control with cancel.

I'd rather run Snag over Leak, as I am going through my deck with draw power.
And those I'd rather have than Cancel. Like I said, I have no problems with any kind of control other than permission or a target destruction or bounce. So I need anti-aggro, anti-permission stuff.
Remands, Snags, and Mystic Snake sound good. Mystic Snake though.... what will the 2/2 body do for me? Just chump? Perhaps I'd rather have a cheaper counter like Cancel in its place...
Also, Voidslime should be more seriously considered as it does allow me to plan B and counter the Swallower trigger. It's not as fun as plan A, but it'll only come to that if my opponent is being boring/a jerk.
Now I need to replace Drowned Rusalka, and Peel from REality, and give myself more draw power. One Careful Consideration? what the hell?
Peel has no targets for my creatures. How am I supposed to resolve it?
Think Snapback would work? It would let me use pointless cards I draw to overcome aggro; and 2 mana to bounce a creature is as good as Boomerang, but without the double U troubles.

Hah! That's just cruel! I love it; a way to not only to abuse Magus of the Mirror, but a way to use Angel's Grace to go on the offensive (sort of)!
This does not need the Rusalkas, the Snakes can go, the cards for the combo should probably (I don't know for sure; I haven't playtested...) be upped to four-a-piece and/or there should be more draw...Compulsive Research? I agree with the argument of getting 'rid of the Cancels, as they are too expensive; especially so with the double blue...
Otherwise the deck looks good. Perhaps I shall try this at our little "FNM" next week (Standard Constructed, this week is TS draft... WOOT!)

I agree completely; in fact, you missed the part where I said that earlier. The Rusalkas are in because of a game mechanics mistake I made due to random fluctuations in think capacity.

That would be awesome. Tell me how it does; and in addition to that, tell me how people respond to it. *Do* they find it fun? One thing I don't like about my B/G version is it uses hated control methods and is draw go. I would at least think I could eliminate the draw-go part, but... I just can't find the cards. But that doesn't mean they're not there (in this case).
U/G does not control the game (the prototype of Blue *AND* Green decks, is one that eschews Blue's controllishness in favour of its resource-amassing abilities like drawing and kooky enchantment-like effects), so I have that fun advantage, but... I lose out on the "actually working" part. Eh, you win some you lose some.
Anyone else have any missions for me? I'll try U/R Niv-Mizzet Ophidian Eye for serious this time if you dare me. OTherwise... I'll be alternating between designing some logos/banners for you guys, and reading about PDP.

Yeah, I'll try it out this week in between rounds, and see what my playgroup thinks of it, I'll also be trying out a crazy new Heartbeat-esque abusive combo deck, it's just not all that consistent... or fast... seven lands + Early Harvest + Early Harvest + Reiterate = Infinite Net Mana! What the hell, I'll also try out that Magus of the Mirror abusive deck; finally something to use my playset of useless Mirror Magi for!

Very... interesting challenges all around. Let me answer the most impinging...
About the avatar... well, I used to be in the Senate clan, I can't lie about that. But it fell apart, and all the king's horses and all the king's men... well, you know.
I keep it simply because I like the design of it. I think it's the signet which best maps the ideas of the Azorius into a symbol; and more than that, it does it well (not in the frame of how much every other signet design totally fails).
btw, I'm sorry, but the Izzet one is the worst, you have to realize.
About the other Avatar, the Dragon Avatar... I had already been trying a deck. But the simple fact is... the card really makes no sense. It's five-colours, so there's a hassle getting it anywhere without reanimation. There's nothing that can actually make use of its five-colouredness in t2 right now, so that's a dead-end.
Now, given that you're getting a Dragon into play with reanimation, why would you pick this card over another? Well, you'd want to do that if the ability attached to this guy was... helpful. It does seem to be, since it does (a) enable wicked-awesome reanimation, and (b) theoretically enable quirky effects from the copying
However, on complete investigation of all Dragons in t2, I came to the conclusion that.... the Dragons in t2 are boring as hell (pun not intended). The only ones that would do anything are Hunted Dragon, Rathi Dragon, which simply race; and Bogardan Hellkite. Hellkite doesn't work with Scion, and once your deck has the Hellkite in it, why aren't you running Dragonstorm?
All of this lead me to consider going outside the box. I thought to myself, "well, the Dragons are boring, but the ability is cool. So I need some Dragons that don't exist." In another format, I would have ended here with futility, waiting for Planar Chaos.
But there's a Conspiracy to enable combo decks this rotation, if you've noticed.
It's slow in the making, since now I've opened up my deck to... every creature. And I only know the deck will be at least half Black. So I'll check back with you on that.
As for Schismotivate..... what? How would you build around something like that? It doesn't really do anything. See, there are two kinds of "bad" cards, IMO. The ones that do "negative" things in typical contexts, like One with Nothing; and the ones that just don't do much at all, do something that another spell does better, or do something that simply is a cog in a larger picture, never the showcase itself.
Schismotivate is such a "bad card" for Johnny purposes. You can't really get it to do anything. I'd rather a One with Nothing. It resolves a seven mana sorcery on yourself for B, at instant speed! That's efficiency for something...
Izzet Pinball... I guess I'll have to reresearch that. I have a friend with whom we jointly built an all-around "Izzet deck" (it played burn/skies, and had Niv-Mizzet + Mindfire), so... yeah.
btw, thanks for the psyduck. I will store him for future data extraction and then deletion. Such is the ultimate fate of this nameless universe.... whoop, going into Brainiac mode for a sec there. Gotta go.

Idea was found looking into the past useing the time turner to go to egypt. After study have made improvments to device and are ready for testing. Waiting for Slaker to come back to throw him through it. I hope he turns out better then the elf i captured.

That takes us from this:
to this
4 Yavimaya coast
4 Breeding Pool
7 Forest
9 Island
Creatures - 11
3 Drowned Rusalka
4 Mystic snake
4 Carven Caryatid
4 Remand
3 Cancel
4 Perilous Research
4 Peel from reality
1 Careful Consideration
Combo - 9
3 Hypergenesis
3 Sky Swallower
3 Fool's Demise
4 Gigadrowse
3 Careful Consideration
4 Repeal
4 Spectral Force
There you have it. The sidebaord sucks, but I make no claims to having a good grasp of the meta right now.
I'm confused. Countermagic will actually be an answer to aggro? Never saw that one coming.
How am I going to draw into the combo now?
Oh, btw, if I do change it to that, the Drowned Rusalkas are pointless. So what do I do with those slots?
And what about Voidslime?
Awesome avatar provided by Krashbot @ [Epic Graphics].
Voidslime is good but in this case I will rather remand or even rune snag, they just seam more stable also you can play them early!!
you: i play hyper gen
opponite: counter with void slime.
you: remand hyper gen.
hyper bounces void slime fizzles.
just a suggestion

Any deck ideas... How about something abusing Scion of the Ur-Dragon that isn't your average reanimator... or maybe it could be... whatever...
Ninja Edit: also notice your avatar is Azorius Signet...Izzet guild/clan... awkward...

Gotta go.
