DF don't be so hard on yourself. I can't imagine you to be the kind of person to make mistakes that need to be corrected. I would more imagine you to be the kind of person that beats herself up for stuff that's unnecessary.

Huzzah! Clan of the Year, 2008! Now, we can afford no time for celebration. We must act immediately to ensure victory for 2009. We need to analyze our strategies and subtleties from this and past years, oust the mistakes and pitfalls, and victory is mine! ours!
Also, wamyc's abundance of trophies reminds me: What ever happened to Best Clan Member, 2008? AI ftw!
I think they're still processing the votes for that in preparation for the final poll. It would make my (end of) year if I got two trophies in one month!
Waymc, I'm beatng myself up because I failed two courses my first quarter in college. I really have no one to blame but myself. So I'm trying to get geared up for a better winter quarter.

I know, for example, that Kajetokun's videos (Over 9000 and friends) are not allowed to be seen in Japan for copyright reasons, so that's probably the same reason why what you were trying to watch failed.
A not on shards draft:
As most pros would, I try to focus on a 2 color deck + splash. In that vein, my favorite decks are:
I hate Bant because I love removal. Jund, Naya, and Grixis go as my top three in no particular order. Esper has never worked for me against competent people.
EDIT: I guess Nick and Poisen have until the end of the week until entering the portal. Since their profiles say they are very inactive, PMing them seems pointless.

But I could watch a video that was essentially a copy of the video, also put up by the band that created the music and music video to begin with, on YouTube. What gives?

Im pretty sure i've got a nomination for Best Overall Member(how awesome would that be if I won? :D......The Izzet would be unstoppable then!.....not as if we arent already :sneakybread:.) And I have a chance nomination for Best Clan Member(very very slim, but its there), and Standard Strategist of the Year(pretty good chance I can get nominated, but even if I do I doubt I have a chance to win because of Shinjutsei's massive following).

Now, of course I need more trophies than you all... *Ravus begins scheming for more shiny trophies*

I like Esper if only for that 2/1 flying deathtouch owl that costs two mana. That card is just sick. And I do get more and more tempted to draw close into two color decks with a splash. Two color decks just tend to do better, no matter the environment. Unless that environment is constructed. Even in the cube it's best to stick to two colors.
Speaking of which, has any of you guys ever played a cube draft before?
@rocker: didn't poison actually post in our last thread within the last week or two? seems worth a prod to me.

I agree, but in an environment such as Alara, where you have so much three-colour fixing, you almost have to play three colours, it'd be a waste if you didn't. But on that note, I agree with rocker in that splashing is the best route.

Yes, but not often enough.

Man, it's really fun. I recommend it even if you can only build a sub par cube. It can only get better and it's a really rewarding not only to play but also to discuss what cards to put in and take out.
Also, I do think you should play three colors in Shards, but two colors really is possible with only a splash of the third. Waiting on the third color is typically loses games for you in Shards, which is why Grixis really isn't that bad at all because it's composed of two powerful two color combinations (Rakdos and Dimir).
I have a Cube, and it's of regular power-level (I still need 27 cards, however... $$$).
Yes, mainly two colour with splashes allows for effective four- and even five-colour draft decks.
I also wish Shards gave more attention to Grixis, I'm not saying it isn't good, but compared to the others, it is the worst. Hopefully, this can only mean that the next few sets will give us more in the way of strong Grixis (Nicol Bolas!).
Congrats to all of us.
Waymc, you're just that awesome.
I've been fairly busy trying to correct mistakes that I've made so I'm not on Sally much, or the computer for that matter.

Really? Perhaps it's akin to the Chinese ban of skeletons in art? I'll have to read up on that.
I'm not sure what to tell you otherwise, or it's just not available in the US.

However, I do agree. My posting habits, although fairly regular, are rather slim as of late (abominable lack of home-internets!).

Eh, I'm fine with a bureaucratic win.
Also: Ravus, too, is hungry, and is going to leave now to do that "eating" thing. I'll be sure to bring a doggy-bag of feti back to you all.
