It's all right. I got the answers off the forums. I may post my deck list later...
Cool, I can't wait to see it.
@Ejdeha: Taking breaks from things is good sometimes, like Surging Chaos said. Hopefully when you decide to play again, you'll be excited to like you used to be. I took a short (like a month tops lol) break way back when to just spend more time with my non-Magic playing friend instead of going to FNM and when I went back everything was great, hope it works out for you too.
That's the deck as it stands, but I plan to do some adjustments to make it more agro-y.
The deck looks pretty cool, if you want it go faster, High Tide could be useful to ramp out some of those larger creatures earlier, not to mention it's nuts if you can do some blinking tricks with that Witch to keep the Turtle bouncing in and out of play, its almost like Palinchron but not quite infinite. I feel like there's a card out there that would make that an infinite mana combo. Looks pretty good for a first draft, though.
Oh wow, Gulf Squid is nuts. I think I may have to add him to my Arcades Sabboth EDH deck, just to blink in and out of play to tap people out before I combo off.

I noticed the Squid, I trick him into play with the Drake, then blink him out with the Witch, resulting in a 2WU: Tap all lands target player controls. Get a 2/2 blocker. It's like Mistbind Clique only funnier, cuz it's a squid.
I don't really like the turtles too much, they're a little underwhelming when you're paying an extra 1 for just 2 extra toughness. I'd much rather cut it for a card like Mistmeadow Witch and some Journey to Nowheres.
Untap, upkeep, draw.
Play Island.
Tap four islands for UUUU, play four High tides. Tap Island for UUUUU, use scepter and Construct, have U left. Bounce Newt, land returns, tap it, Add UUUUU to mana pool, play newt, UUUU, use scepter and Construct, UUUUU in pool, play newt, UUU, use scepter, U, bounce newt, tap island returned, UUUUUU use construct, UUUU, play newt, UU, scepter, etc....continue for epic storm count of one hundred and fifty billion.
That's the deck as it stands, but I plan to do some adjustments to make it more agro-y.
WOW that deck brings back so many memories of when I was a noob in the days of Odyssey block. I thought the Wormfang creatures were just way too awesome; I especially enjoyed Wormfang Drake because of the fact he was a beefy 3/4 flyer for just three mana.
That's the deck as it stands, but I plan to do some adjustments to make it more agro-y.
Like Clem mentioned High tide is pretty tech with cards like the wormfangs. You might also want to run something like gauntlet of power or sapphire medallion, those cards totally crush people in a deck that runs a primary color and gauntlet also doubles as a pump.

Those sound nice, I'll see if I can get my hands on some.
That wormfang mechanic is fun to play with. I got a drake with a turtle behind him exiled by a crab, which I exiled with another drake. So I lost a turtle and gained two 3/4 Fliers, all during my second main phase.

I am the original Semanticore! (Meaning I coined and defined the term.)
I have Deckbuilder's ADD.
Hey guys here's my EDH deck that iv'e been working on what do you think. It has some really explosive turns espically with mind's desire Suspending 2 cards + Mind's Desire= 2 Free other cards Its so fun any critique's are welcome. Iv'e been thinking of adding Into the Roil, and ClockSpinning but i can't find any room.
Play with a good amount of artifact mana... Sol Ring, Izzet Signet, Grim Monolith, Mana Vault, etc. If you can get a Mana Crypt, that will also help immensely. Trinket Mage is also a staple blue card for accelerating, getting Sensei's Divining Top, or graveyardhate. When I play Jhoira, I like to treat her as if she costs 5 mana instead of 3 so I'm guaranteed to get at least one card suspended the first time I play her.
I have an update on the Wormfang deck I'm making. I've bought most of the cards (Hallowed Fountain and Glacial Fortress are the only ones I don't have), and this is what it looks like:
I agree ^_^. It's definitely one of my favorite cards from that block.
So tonight was a ZEN draft for FNM and I ended up winning, I got a Lotus Cobra and a (my 6th or 7th one ^_^;) Scalding Tarn + other jank rares in my prize packs.
Yes that is 5 Windrider Eel :p. The deck was pretty decent, although I still don't really care for blue in this format(although I like it a bit more now ;)), but going into this draft I figured black and/or red would be overdrafted so I wanted to stay out of those colors if I could possibly bare it. I was correct and won because of it.
So Tbshawk and I went 3-1 at our 2HG FNM tonight. We lost a literally un-winnable first round, they just came out way too fast for us to handle. Round two was the bye so we went for pizza lol. Round three was close but we won. Round four, was sweet. Our decks did exactly what they were supposed to do and win. I don't have the lists since we divvied up the cards immediatelty after the last round, though.
Also, I'm going to the local anime con this weekend. This is the event schedule for the con. Its mostly scrubs since the events are advertised so poorly/its game day on the same day, so the competition shouldn't be too much trouble at all lol. I'm running Tezzerator for the extended event and my RDW list for the T2 ones.
So. Halloween. Happy All Hallow's Eve eve everybody!
Sorry I've just been lurking, haven't had much to say. I really need to get the deck-building drive ramped up again; nobody to play kinda makes it hard to care sometimes.
New plan- make a casual deck for every color pair that will cost me less than 20 dollars or so to build. Need help with the WU, GU, UB, and RW decks, which I find rather funny because I usually love building blue decks.

Well, then you should try playing it in the subforum. It's really fun, i can tell you that.

I'm a slow typer. But then, the standard I judge by is the average speed of my ex-classmates... I was about in the middle, but for someone who types as much **** as I do, that's much too slow.
As for my typing speed, i think everyone would know how fast i type, given the fact that i can get thousands of posts in a matter of weeks.
In other news, i am feeling the urge to make a deck again. as to what that would be, need a question of mine asked first; which is a better PW? Sorin, or Nissa?
In other news, i am feeling the urge to make a deck again. as to what that would be, need a question of mine asked first; which is a better PW? Sorin, or Nissa?
Sorin is better without question. He does not require you to build a deck around like Nissa does and he greatly impacts the game more than she ever could.
the reason that I ran this semi jank deck is due to the fact that I don't have my other decks finished yet and it's the only one that I can use that wasn't proxy. so this is the lay outs of the matchs
round 1 (1-2)
this is a funny match is was against my buddy who left is cards in denver so we threw together a mono red burn deck for him to play last night. the highlights of the deck were mostly burn (I.E. lightningn bolt, fireball, fallout) with hasty creatures (I.E. hellspark, lightning elemental) and those damn goblin assaults.
anyway i won the first match with little effort. I got a decent hand and was dropping 2 artifacts a turn at least. the second match he topdecked every burn card he needed to kill off my creatures and the beat me to death with 3 of these lightning elemental. the 3rd match was a close one I had a gob of big creatures but he was spitting out blockers with multiple goblin assaults in the end two valahuts and 8 mountains did me in.
match 2 (2-0) was against mono black vampires. this was a work in progress deck and was lacking a few key elements. an underworld dreams and howling mine backfired on him and i got to draw 4 cards a turn and esper charmed the dreams everytime. i won with little problems
match 3 (1-2) was against mono green ramp deck with landfall mechanics. I lost when the landfall baloth got out and he kept dropping harrow. I won one game were an infest wiped out his elf horde. the last match we beaton each other until he played a wolf pack yay 9 2/2 wolfs.
match 4 (2-1) was a black/white home brew. wasn't a bad match up though the white/black knights were jumping all around my esper creatures. mana locked hard to lose one game. mulliganed down to 5.
match 5 (2-0) was against a mono white soldier deck. easy win.
all-in-all i'm sorta surpised with the deck. I figured it would bomb out and I would just spend the night watching people play. Now I wanna make it a little more consistant and need some help any suggestions.

I've made casual sixty card singleton decks for six out of the ten guilds from Rav that are pretty budget and they are fun to play. You could try something like that.
Sorin is better without question. He does not require you to build a deck around like Nissa does and he greatly impacts the game more than she ever could.
I agree, his first ability alone is awesome. Mindslaver also seems pretty good.
Got sick and couldn't go to the con today. Hoping I get better and can make it tomorrow.
I like Sorin the best. But that is just my opinion.

Okay then, Sorin it is. Now I just need some time to brainstorm on what cards to put in a deck with Sorin in it. standard, of course.
In a vacuum, I like Sorin better than Nissa. I assume you are making a type 2 deck? If so, then I'd go with Sorin. If its casual, I think Nissa would be better.
