thanks for the ideas guys im looking into all of them and just kinda getting a feel for it. what about a larger image something like a tree or a golgari longlegs im thinking about one day a large piece and i want it all incorporated . like a large back piece
There are just so many choices there, I'm not sure of where to begin...
It really depends on you. There are cards that offer a single centerpiece, or a center you can build around and all the way to things with enough chaos to meld seamlessly (with the right cards).
You mention Golgari Longlegs. Help us out. Why does that card appeal to you? Is the art, the ideology of the guild, something with bugs?
You're going to have this art added to you, and art is extremely subjective. What's your goal with this piece?
i like mr long legs because he could be a very large center piece. kinda like how ou see people do trees .....i do like bugs and reptiles. I keep ta ton of snakes and over the years have kept a good number of insects etc. i duno maybe my first should be stand alone. i just wana make it where if i want to latter i can add to it and it not look stupid

right now im thinking I may do something kraken based and maybe have the tentacles reaching out of the water and grasping an izzet emblem. (SLEEVE) ANY GREAT ALTERNATE ART KRAKENS?
"what is the most iconic magic the gathering art you can think of? I was thinking *lists some obscure card*"
Honestly though, the magic pentagram, black lotus, moxen, serra angel, shivan dragon, juzam djinn, the magic the gathering text...this is how you do "most iconic magic art". Golgari Longlegs? Nah.
I was thinking about a Izzet guild mark tattoo. but what would you suggest just looking for ideas
Besides the guilds, you've got the six kinds of mana symobls (WUBRGC), the Phyrexian Symbol, the Planeswalker symbol, etc.
