So, the competitive tag is probably incorrect - this is more of an between deck; strong cards and some combos, but it's not as focused as it could be. It is definitely no Zur Doomsday/Ad Naus or the like.
Anyway, I'm looking for some feedback. Here's an Esper Mill deck I brainstormed; at 109 cards, it still needs some cuts and tuning; so I'm happy to hear what everyone thinks.
Why Esper instead of Dimir? Well, pretty much because I wanted to, I guess. I do feel like splashing White gives you access to some more tutoring, board control and the like; is that worth it instead of having a Dimir commander? I think so, but tell me your thoughts!
The general idea here is to mill. Mill opponents, mill yourself - you're gonna win either way if Jace, Wielder of Secrets or Lab Maniac are in play. Echo of Eons and Time Spiral are in there in case you go off the rails and need to reset all the self milling, ergo the lack of Rest in Peace. I don't really want to exile my own graveyard.
This obviously leads to some problems - you can't do the Helm of Obedience combo, and cards that function off of how many cards a player has in their graveyard are much less useful if Ashiok / Leyline are running amok.
If you made it this far, thanks!
