Pseudo-sweeper in blue. Huge tempo play, 4-mana cmc is stacked for this to abuse, especially in the PW department. Not an instant, but that's okay. Thoughts?
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
Bouncing your own board and following it up with a Wrath seems pretty brutal, especially if your board consisted of enter the battlefield procs.
Oooh, good point. Also, bouncing their field and following it up with a 4 mana threat or walker is an insane tempo shift. I think this is my favorite of the "expertise" cycle so far.
This seems great. Bounce all my creatures and wrath, or just set your opponent back while you get to extend your board presence. I can find space for this. The 4 mana or less is much better than 3.
I love multiple bounce and dropping a 4cmc card seems very unrestrictive. Really tempted to give it a shot. Good that it can bounce artifacts as well as your own permanents - both relevant. May test.
I think this is the best of the cycle so far. Looks really strong. The interaction with Wraths and some of the best walkers (Jace, Elspeth, Chandra) puts it over the top.
Some neat tricks you can do is replaying etb creatures. Like, cast this to bounce 2 of their creatures and your eternal witness, cast witness for free, get back this.

I didn't even think of the fact that you could reasonably always have a spell to cast for this. You could also re-set Mana Vault and Grim Monolith, which are corner cases but still cases.
This card is nonsense. The lines of play are HUGE and this just oozes value. I love that you can hit your own creatures or artifacts. I'm jamming this directly into my blue section. I will likely cut mono-U Tammy moonsocks for this card, and be very happy about it.
It's a big-time top-end tempo spell, but I don't know if I need another multi-bounce effect in the 5cc spell slot in blue, and this is no Mystic Confluence. I'll test it, but I expect it to be edged out by the competition. The free spell is nice, but harder to use in blue with all the reactive spells, doubly so since this is a sorcery.

That's true but you can bounce your own value creature or artifact for the free drop which compensates the fact that blue has possibly fewer targets. If you played a V-Clique or whatever before it, say.
All of the expertise cards are great in the spells decks. My kingdom if this were an instant. But still rebuying a snapcaster is no joke or bouncing three dudes and playing a free timewalk with monastery mentor out is dumb. And yes you can cast the white one with this one.
And resetting a manavault/monolith with this is pretty relevent considering the big 3 in the mana cost.
Back down to earth this does compete with big mystie, bribery, desertion and other top end big blue spells.

I currently see this as the #4 blue 5-cmc spell behind Confluence / Treachery / Bribery.
Maybe I just don't know how to play, but I've probably never picked Bribery in cubes where I've come across it. I like this more, casting cards for free is cool and this can actually do some work against aggro decks (unlike Bribery most of the time).

Against most non-aggro decks, Bribery is almost always going to take something more than 5-cmc. Even against an aggro deck, taking their Hero of Bladehold or something is still fine, especially since their other creatures will be relatively smaller than their curvetopper.
Not only that but in you literally get to look at their entire deck which is invaluable, and if it's g2 or the second time you've cast Bribery you could reasonably figure out exactly what's in their hand. So for five mana you get the best creature left in their deck (often their best creature) without getting blown out by disenchant and perfect information. That's huge.
I think this card has the highest ceiling out of any card that's been spoiled so far. I can't pin down its power level, since there's a lot going on, but think it has potential to be insane.
I'd love to build around it with etb value creatures, and cards like eternal witness or arcane savant(YOWZA).
Also seems quite good at enabling storm with artifact power (if your cube supports storm). This set giving some new power to that archetype with this + baral.
Yeah, the power level of this card makes this look like a blue Plow Under to me. Ceiling is through the roof on this card and being able to cast Ancestral Visions from my hand is pretty nice too.
I may actually give this a go over Arcane Savant as that card is becoming an insta-groan in my playgroup whenever it hits the field.
Some players in my playgroup are feeling the same. I'm enjoying some of the interactions a ton (eldritch evolution/temporal m astery), but upheavel/arcane savant loops are very unfun if the upheavel player can't end the game at a fast rate...

I don't think I could ever cut Tamiyo now that I know the best name ever of "Tammy Moonsocks" exists. That's incredible.
