What does everyone make of this little fellow? Potentially the biggest one-drop vanilla beater in the game, but totally worthless on turn one. A cheap late game reanimate target that buries itself. Varolz's best target by a mile - if you happen to be running that guy. Ideal for the color that trades life for power: turn four Toxic Deluge for 19 into this guy would be super sweet. Until he eats any non-red removal in the game. Red can just shoot right past.
It's tempting, because the potential value of this guy is immense for so little cost. Still, I suppose if you're waiting until turn 6+ to cast him, wouldn't you rather just have a Grave Titan sitting in your hand?
He's bad early where his mana cost would normally shine. When I'm at low life, he's a vanilla fatty. I don't need vanilla fatties that can't be cast until the late game taking slots in any of my decks. I'd rather have a fatty that gets me some value immediately and can double as a worthwhile reanimation target at any point in the game.

I would be sad to see this in a cube of any size. Sorry for the harsh words, but I don't think this guy is even remotely playable.

This. It's not an aggro card, and while having extra mana open to protect him is nice, I'd still rather a bomb in that spot which is more than a JAG.
