Welcome to Club Flamingo! If you aren't familiar with the rules for gentlemen's clubs, open the spoiler right here. If you've posted in "the Winner is Judge" before, you'll be fine.
1. Submit an entry that fits the current criteria along with a suggestion for the next challenge (an "IIW").
2. If you win, you are the judge for the next round.
3. If you're the judge, evaluate all of the entries and choose the best one.
But isn't this Club Flamingo? Yes. This automatically makes it classier than basically every other thread on here. But this thread isn't made just for me to dress up like a flamingo. In the next spoiler you will find the special rules for this club.
1. I will facilitate proceedings by sending out PMs and things when needed.
2. If you are the judge and fail to judge in a reasonable time frame, I will judge for you, using whatever criteria I feel like. Don't subject your fellow posters to this. Have a heart.
3. If you do not post an "if I win" challenge, you cannot win.
4. If you DO post a challenge and it's dumb and/or nobody enters, I will take over with a new challenge. You may still judge this challenge if you want, but I'll do it otherwise. If you choose not to judge, see rule #5.
5. This isn't intended to be Club "Megiddo Does All of the Work." Please try not to abandon things, though I understand that real life is more important than the internet. It really shouldn't be, though.
6. As detailed here, double posting and certain spammy posts are not allowed. Please review that link before posting.
Use any criteria you want for the judging! It's up to you (and sometimes me)! If you can't be bothered, use the below rubric.
Card Balance /10: Is the card printable?
Card Innovation /10: Is it new and exciting?
Card Extras /5: Flavor, punctuation, whatever.
Welcome to the seventh (seriously) WINNER IS JUDGE KNOCKOFF STYLE THREAD!
This double post will be your introduction to the thread. (Please don't merge if reported, just delete!)
My original thought for our first challenge was to make a card styled in my image. But we've done that before, and I'm no fan of idolatry. So instead, I started thinking armageddon and came up with this: Make a mass removal card.
It doesn't have to be for lands, but it can be! Be creative!
I'll be judging using a method of judging that I discover sometime between now and when I feel like judging. I'll close at approximately 10 entries.

BOOM!
DESTRUCTIVE FORCE 5/7: C-C-C-ALTERNATE WIN CONDITION!!! Except that you immediately lose, and there's actual no way to work around it (except for Angel's Grace or similar). So your 10 mana card can sometimes just win the game. The fact that you need to play ten mana spells AND bad cards to win makes me think that this is acceptable. As for destructive force? This card will probably take out more actual cards than every other card here, so high score, though it doesn't really count as a removal spell. You know, unless you count Leveler as a removal spell.
RUINATION 3/4: The first time somebody loses to the deck that can pull this off, there will be much laughter and japery. If you ever manage to figure out how to make it consistent, you'll just lose to a counterspell anyway probably, so it's ok.
ARMAGEDDON 1/2: It can destroy all lands... that are still in a deck. So I dont' know if it counts. I guess you get half.
TOTAL: 9
DESTRUCTIVE FORCE 6/7 Or, wait, no. there's other words on the card. The land restriction seems dumb but actually is clever. Artifact accelerants can't be used to get a quick armageddon out there. Not too much to say. Blows up lands.
RUINATION 3/4: I mean, this is going to basically be as fun as armageddon, which may or may not be a fun card. The differences are slight, really.

Then I would grab your deck and destroy it with the anger I have built up over 20 years of my life. Then I'd flip the table onto you and pin you underneath it. DESTRUCTIVE FORCE 4/7: Mirror Universe? Oh, wait, Warp World. I was all excited, but you just give everything back! This card is pretty powerful, of course. It's like polymorph, but you can actually run creatures in your deck. It's like Scapeshift, except that it's three colors that aren't red. I can't give it to a 4 mana "everything ever dies" green card. And I can't give it to mudhole. I think Asrama's card, though ugly and an instant-speed wrath, is very interesting and a new twist on the concept.
So, Asrama wins!

I just kinda thought that Armageddon was overkill. I also kinda recycled it from an older card design where it cost 3BBB and was kinda... dumber.
GOOD ROUND THOUGH. THIS GAME NEEDS MORE EXPLOSIONS AND ADVANCE WARS DEBATES. P.S. Yellow Comet pretty much are the awesomest, even if I find myself playing a lot of That Russian Place, because I'm pretty okay with getting things for cheap. Even if they're bad.

This means: OWA's Mudhole variant, Asrama's weird counterspell, and pstmdrn's green wrath?
I can't give it to a 4 mana "everything ever dies" green card. And I can't give it to mudhole. I think Asrama's card, though ugly and an instant-speed wrath, is very interesting and a new twist on the concept.
So, Asrama wins!

What if I Global BOOM'd or ArmageBOOM'd the turn before? /here's a guy who's just enough of a shmuck to do it! MY DECK IS HALF DARKSTEEL INGOTS AND OBELISKS *****ES
Even if they're bad.
...which explains all of my MTG collection ever.
