Well, I think it really should be a "Samauri Spirit", that would explain the artwork and the Bushido.
If you look at the Pre-Release card for BoK the creature flips from a "Creature - Human Monk" to a "Legendary Creature - Spirit". Because of this i decided to just make him a Spirit. Anyway i think the name, artwork and the fact he has Bushido is enough to imply he was once a Samurai.
It looks really good. It is kind of weird that the reminder text for Soulshift is written out, but not the reminder text for Bushido. I think it is fine for it to no be a Samurai, but as a legend it might be a little boring. I think it could be either have Bushido 3 or be a 4/4.
It is better than any others that I have seen. I like it. Although I agree it should be samuari, they have not printed a card with busido that ias not a samurai.
Well i agree with many of the posts, it would be good to make it a samuri, up the power or the bushido because it's legendary and the white background is almost a dead giveaway, but otherwise, you would fool anyone who isn't suspicious, good job
The card itself is sound, but the white background looks suspicious.
The background isn't white, it's actually a speckled grey colour. It just turned out lighter than i expected it too.

In my opinion, the illustrator name seems a little more blur than the rest of the card and the art seems...
Actually the funny thing is i used Hikari, Twilight Guardian as the template for the card and she was illustratred by Glen Angus so i didn't actually change that bit (along with the creature type and a couple of other little things).

I was going to include the reminder text to Bushido too but it wouldn't fit on the card. I ended up deciding only to include the reminder text for Soulshift as it is the more complicated ability.
I know that its not the most powerfull card but i didn't want to make it over powered. As it is it can kill a Dragon Spirit without dying and is by far the most powerful creature printed with Soulshift (they tend to underpower creatures with Soulshift).

it should be a samuari, it looks like one also........
Truth be told i strongly feel that making this card a Samurai Spirit would actually make it less real for a number of reasons. Firstly in ChK none of the Spirits have jobs. The only creatures with additional creatures types are the Oni and Dragons. Secondly as i stated before the new flip cards go from being monks and clerics and stuff to just being Spirits so i'm trying to keep in line with them. The idea is he was a samurai but has now ascended into Spiritdom but has retained his ability to use bushido.
Just as a little nitpicky that caused me to immediately think fake - Bushido is a capitalized ability. Look at any of the cards with it, and you'll see that it's always capitalized. You might want to fix at least that if you want to fool a large group of people, because at least one person would notice it.
Otherwise, there just seems to be something wrong with a non-samurai creature having Bushido. I understand your logic, but still. I'd have to think on which way is actually more appropriate...
Doh! The one exception. Still, if someone had pointed me to that I'd still call fake for the same reason. After all, Bushi Tenderfoot is punctuated with a semi-colon, not a comma. That makes a world of difference here. Generally, things that are normally capped stay capped after a comma; after a semi-colon, it's anybody's guess what WoTC will do.
It looks very good, and it seems like the kind of card that WotC would make, but people read both this and MTGnews, so if the purpose of this card was to piss the rumor mill over there, don't. Thats just stupid.

Don't worry, i was actually halfway through making this card before the fiasco at MTGnews even began so that was never my intent. After seeing all the bad fakes posted on the Rumour Mill i was just curious to see if i could do better.
You do realize your credibility as a rumor source has just gone down considerably
Yea well i've never been in any kind of position to be a rumour source anyhow, so meh! Anyway do you really think if i wanted to post fakes i would have advertised my abilities here first (or maybe thats what i want you to think...) >;D

You need a comma after the first part of the name. Otherwise it's great.
Oh, and the name means growing world.
I very much like the card. People often make overcomlicated cards, or twist new abilities, but this would be a nice card, just to calm all the other rare legends with complicated abilities.
Is it me, or are the mana symbols on the card a tad low?
Remove the reminder text for soulshift, this isn't a new mechanic and thus shouldn't have any. You should propably shop the picture itself a little, like chanign colors a little and adding energy objects.
This isn't strictly true. While in the latter sets of the block not all cards have reminder text for the first sets mechanics they still include the reminder text if they have enough room (eg. Willbender)

So what do you think? Is it good enough to fool the Rumour Mill?
EDIT: Before i forget i just want to credit arcipello for the artwork.

I think it should be a Samurai Spirit, though.
Other than that... Good job. Card seems balanced to me.

If you look at Bushi Tenderfoot // Kenzo the Hardhearted bushido is actually spelt with a small "b" because it proceeds doublestrike.
EDIT yup http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/711098/ I knew i,v seen that pic before.

Awesome Job otherwise

I went without the comma because most of the cards with 'the' in the name don't use them (Masako the Humorless, Meloku the Clouded Mirror, etc.).
As for the name i got it from http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/jap.html (i do my homework).
