One of the most underused mechanics ever, in my opinion.
Shapeshifter's Vest -
Artifact — Equipment (R)
Imprint — When Shapeshifter's Vest comes into play, you may remove from the game a creature card in your hand. (The removed card is imprinted on this artifact.)
Equipped creature is a copy of the imprinted card.
Equip
Field of Ideals
Land (R)
Imprint — When Field of Ideals comes into play, look at the top four cards of your library. Remove one of them from the game, then put the rest on the bottom of your library. (The removed card is imprinted on this land.) T: Add one mana of any of the imprinted card’s colors to your mana pool.
Soulmight Invoker - 3G
Creature — Elf Warrior (U)
Imprint — As Soulmight Invoker comes into play, you may remove from the game a creature card in your hand. (The removed card is imprinted on this creature.)
Soulmight Invoker’s power and toughness are each equal to the imprinted creature’s power and toughness.
*/*
Blessed Exorcist - WB
Creature — Human Cleric (R)
Imprint — :1mana:, :symtap:: Remove target card in a graveyard from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this creature.)
Blessed Exorcist has protection from each of the imprinted cards' colors.
2/2
Mystic Refusal - :1mana::symu:
Instant (C)
Imprint — As you play Mystic Refusal, you may remove a card in your hand from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this instant.) Counter target spell unless its controller pays plus :xmana:, where X is the imprinted card's converted mana cost.
Allenian Taxman - :1mana::symw:
Creature — Human Advisor (R)
Imprint — When Allenian Taxman comes into play, you may remove a card in your hand from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this creature.)
Spells of the imprinted card's type cost you up to less to play and cost your opponents more to play.
1/3
Doombringer Hellkite - 3RRR
Creature — Dragon (M)
Flying
Imprint — Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play, remove it from the game. (It's imprinted on this creature.)
When Doombringer Hellkite is put into a graveyard from play, it deals X damage to target creature or player, where X is the combined power of all cards imprinted on it.
5/5
I like the land quite a bit.
Mystic Refusal is pretty weak. I don't see it being better than mana leak or rune snag since any deck that would play it really wouldn't want the card disadvantage.
Allenian Taxman might be a little too strong. I know I would consider playing him in a couple of extended and standard decks.
Assonance ftw. But anyway... isn't this like Chrome Mox, but swingier? I mean, sure, you could get rid of four useless cards, or you could get four lands and be stuck with a producing land.
Soulmight Invoker - 3G
Creature — Elf Warrior (U)
Imprint — When Soulmight Invoker comes into play, you may remove from the game a creature card in your hand. (The removed card is imprinted on this creature.)
Soulmight Invoker’s power and toughness are each equal to the imprinted creature’s power and toughness.
*/*
Interesting, but it seems weak actually. Green is king of the vanilla fatties, but Wizards is trying to move towards it being king of fatties in general.
2/2
Cool! Not sure why it needs to be though, except maybe in the activation cost?
Blessed Exorcist :2mana::symw:
Creature — Human Cleric (R)
2/2
Imprint — :symwb:, :symtap:: Remove target card in a graveyard from the game.
CARDNAME has protection from each of the imprinted cards' colors.
Mystic Refusal - :1mana::symu:
Instant (C)
Imprint — As you play Mystic Refusal, you may remove a card in your hand from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this instant.) Counter target spell unless its controller pays plus :xmana:, where X is the imprinted card's converted mana cost.
I think it's just :xmana::1mana:, but anyway it does seem weak, especially vs. smaller spells.
5/5
Hmmm. Seems like it should have at least in its cost?
Also, I thought of one:
Crucifix of Infamy :1mana::symu::symb:
Artifact
Flash
Imprint — When CARDNAME comes into play, remove target creature spell from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this artifact. The spell won't resolve.) Creatures that share a type with the imprinted card get -2/-2.
Alternatively,
Æther Gibbet :1mana::symw::symu:
Enchantment
Flash
Imprint — When CARDNAME comes into play, remove target noncreature spell from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this enchantment. The spell won't resolve.) Cards with the same name as the imprinted card can't be played.
Pretty nice ones, Valros, although I feel the Crucifix could cost a little more (and be an enchantment, unless it's Alara block :P), since it's bound to be way more swingy and affect more cards per game than the Gibbet. Maybe 1UUB?

Yeah, now that I look at Engineered Plague... more crippling, but it needs an actual creature spell... So maybe :1mana::symu::symb::symb: (It's more black than blue.)

Do I Contradict Myself? Very Well Then I Contradict Myself.
The land pretty much has Hideway.... I would word it:
Land
Hideaway
CARDNAME comes into play untapped. t, reveal the card removed form the game by CARDNAME: Add one mana of that cards colors or wutever to ur mana pool

The fact that you have to contradict Hideway's CIP reminder text on the card makes me see this as way less elegant than simply having it be an imprint ability. Also, all hideaway cards so far give you a way of playing the card, which makes the mana ability itself much more on par with other imprint cards than other hideaway cards.
The Soulmight wouldn't work as printed. It comes into play as a 0/0.
I think that Imprint doesn't work as well on instants, unless you're doing something crazy. The counter could just say, "as an additional cost" or "when you play CARDNAME." It's permanents that make imprint special.
There's plenty of cards recently that have something like imprint, but don't say imprint outright. I really like Imprint. It's a fun mechanic, and it doesn't need to be set or block specific. It's wide enough to evergreen.
Your cards are cool. I especially like the Taxman and the Excorsit.
Soulmight should say "As CARDNAME comes into play". I think that should work.
As for the counter, that's just me fooling around with the mechanic... I know imprint doesn't actually work well when all you're getting is a one-shot effect, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
I like all of them, except that I think that the Taxman is too powerful. Imprint a creature, and you can play fatties cheaply while they have trouble even playing a 2/2 or 3/3 in time to stop you and by that point they'd be usable only as chump blockers.
I've reached the point where I'm just using "imprint" as an action word for anything that removes a card from the game and references it later.
Mystic Refusal: This stretches the identity of the imprint mechanic too far, in my opinion. It's like giving something "cumulative upkeep :0mana:" just to reference the age counters.
Blessed Exorcist: Powerful, but printable.
Allenian Taxman: Undercosted. A cost swing of either way is huge. Combine them and... whoo.
Doombringer Hellkite: Just plain awesome.
Crucifix of Infamy: Well, just going by the numbers, two Engineered Plagues and a Remove Soul make it 5UBB. I wouldn't go quite that far, but it's definitely not three or four mana. Also, "Crucifix" is one of those words you'll never see on a Wizards card.
Divining Wizard: This I really like. Why's he legendary, though?

I agree. Who says Mirrodin-block artifacts get to have all the fun?
Cool. It allows for some interesting tricks, too.
