Adarkar Wetlands Land (R)
:symtap:: Add to your mana pool.
:symtap:: Put a charge counter on Adarkar Wetlands.
:symtap:: Add or to your mana pool. Play this ability only if there’s a charge counter on Adarkar Wetlands.
Basically, it's an Invasion tapland that gives you the option of getting colorless mana if you want to use it right away. What do you guys think?
Very well done. I like the mechanic and it works well against landwalk. I also like the fact that you can save the turn that you "lose" for the land until a point where you can spare the use of the land.

Running a single game all the time. Check it out. Always happy so see a new face.
I wonder if you can fuse the top two abilities, without making it overpowered.
Then, it will ALWAYS tap for colorless the first round, and become a dual after that.
I like it the way it is. Probably stick the first ability on the end of the third, so you add colored mana if it has a charge counter and adds colorless if it doesn't. They'll probably look a little neater with only two tap abilities rather than three.

so you're thinking....
Adarkar Swamplands
Land
Tap: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Tap: Add U or B to your mana pool. Play this ability only if Adarkar Swamplands did not come into play this turn or last turn.
(the "or last turn" is so you can't play it then tap it for U/B during your opponent's turn)
Did I get that right?
It's probably fair, and less clunky then the original's wording, but I think I prefer the original.
Land
T: add 1 to your mana pool. Put a charge counter on this.
T: add (color 1) or (color 2) to your mana pool. play this ability only if this has a charge counter on it.
Looks like I have to be even more explicit than naming exactly what two abilities to fuse
Ondarius finally got it right.
If you have these three abilities, players will hate the card. Put it into play, now you can choose. It doesn't tap for colored mana, so you get either a colorless mana or nothing. If you use colorless, you have to choose again next turn. You have to skip this turn to be able to tap it for colored.
It's bad all around. But if you fuse the abilities, you'll have to "charge" the land first, then tap it for colored mana whenever you want. It's almost on-par with painlands then, and it will be played.
Fusing the abilities is a neat idea. Of course, in the end it's a matter of power level. Seing how I don't think either version is better than, say, a shockland, I guess flappy's suggestion would be fair.
However, I do like the fact that in the original version, you have to make a choice when tapping it for the first time - and thus I think it makes that version more interesting, even if not more powerful.

:symtap:: Put a charge counter on ~.
:symtap:: Add 1 to your mana pool, if ~ has a charge counter on it, you may instead add W or U to your mana pool.

I like that fix too.
