A selection of rare indulgences from the forthcoming conclusion to Avacyn Restored.
For a while now I have been working on a small follow up set to Avacyn Restored. The two sets are drafted together, similarly to Innistrad and Dark Ascension, and many of the previous set's themes are continued and expanded upon. The set has a strong focus on limited play, and aims to attempt to remedy the weaknesses of the original Avacyn Restored draft environment. Despite this, I've chosen to show off some rares first. Expect more as the set nears development. Thank you in advance for your time and your contribution.
Man the Battlements3WW
Sorcery (R)
For each creature controlled by an opponent, put two 1/1 white Human creature tokens onto the battlefield “There once was a time when we would flee from the of darkness. That time is no longer.”
Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist2UU
Legendary Creature — Human Wizard (R) XU,T: Target player puts the top X cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard. You may put a creature card with converted mana cost X or less from among them onto the battlefield tapped under your control. That creature is a black Zombie in addition to its other colors and types.

Midnight Revenant4BB
Creature — Shade (R)
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, pay any amount of life. Add that much B to your mana pool. B: Midnight Revenant gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
3/3
Pitlord's Imperative5RR
Sorcery (R)
Choose target creature you control. Gain control of each creature an opponent controls with power less than the chosen creature’s power until end of turn. Untap those creatures. They gain haste until end of turn. "Kneel!"
Silverfang Alpha1G
Creature — Wolf Warrior (R)
Soulbond (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.) 1G: Silverfang Alpha gets +1/+1 until end of turn. If it’s paired with a creature, that creature also gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

W, U, and R have awesome flavor, and U,B,R, and G are powerful, fairly novel cards that look like they would be fun to play with. Man the Reinforcements should also be pretty cool most of the time, but it has the usual downsides associated with relying on your opponents stuff. Namely, it does nothing/very little against people who just don't have many creature in their deck. OTOH, this isn't an issue in limited, and it wouldn't see constructed play anyway, so I wouldn't change it unless anyone can see a fix that doesn't destroy the flavor (I can't).
Speaking on the set more broadly, I like the idea of an AVR fixer set, because it does need one, isn't broken enough that it should be impossible, and had some neat mechanics. If you plan to continue the loner mechanic (which you probably have to, for consistency's sake) I'd go all upside with it (Homicidal Seclusion and Demonic Rising vs. Fettergeist and Demonic Taskmaster). A green mythic miracle seems fairly obligatory, and a new Garruk would be good for flavor reasons. One idea I had for AVR was that undying was actually a pretty good fit for good guys (resurrected by angels and come back blessed, as opposed to the flavor on monsters).

I primarily play limited, so most of my spoiler season comments view cards through that lens.
A slightly different take on Geth, Lord of the Vault. Oddly, Geth feels more blue for getting artifacts and Ludevic feels completely black for reanimating creatures. I don't think your take on Ludevic is unprintable as-is, but it sure feels like a huge stretch of the color pie. (It helps to think of it more like Telemin Performance and less like Geth.)
Despite costing six mana, I don't know how to feel about Midnight Revenant. Channel was really only scary because of how early and how unexpectedly it could end the game. This at least requires a startup of six mana and a turn of survival, but on the other hand it guarantees you have somewhere to use the mana. As long as there are no X cost life drain cards in standard with it, I think it's doable.
The other cards seem solid, though I echo movexig's comment's on the red and green ones.
