Dr. Brain is kind of unimaginative. Consider having it do what it does in a more dynamic and interactive fashion. By using interactive restrictions and boundaries, you can effectively bring the cost down on a lost of cards, which is extremely important for securing strong play value in your designs.

Yeah I did have a hard time coming up with something a little more silver bordered. The design is what I want. I'm imagining a giant tentacled brain in a big laboratory who can look into and control the minds of his enemies.

The responsibilities of game design are a bit more comprehensive than that.
There are conditions of playability, functionality, and the realism of fantasy that one has to secure. Every design, or mechanic/dynamic, or new super-medium should not be devoid of functionality or flavor. It wants to be expansively playable or adaptable, or else it ends up in the junk bin after the block is over. This shouldn't be something anyone is comfortable with doing really. It's bad design etiquette.
I honestly don't think that a 7 CMC multicolor legend, that takes a turn to setup, and has no protection for how ugly it is, is very playable. That's why I suggested as I did. It's just very feel-bad for me to see designs (especially big game designs) whose potential is just so obviously finite.
