Just some more "Snow Matters" cards, because one day I would hope to believe that they make a Sultai Snow Commander precon or something. Plus, I'd love to see more cards in the beautiful new Snow frame.
Arcticgoyf1BG
Snow Creature - Lhurgoyf (R)
Arcticgoyf gets +1/+1 for each Snow card in your graveyard. 1SS: Return Arcticgoyf from your graveyard to your hand. Activate this ability only anytime you could cast a sorcery.
1/1
Pinefall Elemental3UG
Snow Creature - Elemental (R)
Trample
Whenever Pinefall Elemental or another Snow permanent enters the battlefield under your control, you may tap or untap target permanent.
4/4
The only note here is that the fight ability on your Yeti is way undercosted. It would at least need to tap as part of the cost and only be activated at sorcery speed, but probably cost more too. Repeatable fight is very strong and the only recent cards it shows up on are Polukranos Unchained (where the damage permanently weakens the creature) and Brash Taunter (where the fight isn't going to kill what its fighting).
If this is intended for commander, though, an interesting twist would be to make the fight ability activatable by any player. Like such:
2S: Taiga-Stalker Yeti fights target creature not controlled by Taiga-Stalker Yeti's controller. Any player may activate this ability, and only any time they could cast a sorcery.
The sorcery timing is still important to avoid multiple activations in response to each other or in combat, but the lower cost is fine if other players can use it too.
The return Arctigoyf ability at sorcery speed is odd since it can't really be used to protect the creature from removal, but i can see utility if you need triggers from casting/etbing snow effects.
Other than the fight cost though, these could all easily see play.
I really like the Goyf, and have designed a similar card myself in the past. I'd love to see something like that get printed in the future. Although it's a strong finisher, it does require a dedicated deck and at the end of the day is just a recursive beater. I suppose you could drop the sorcery speed from it like mentioned above.
I do think the Yeti might need a sorcery speed or tap effect to balance it.
Honestly the elemental is good but probably the most boring of the three.

Yeah, I think the Elemental is an uncommon, rather than a rare.
