Hey, so this is probably obvious, but this game is the opposite of the "I don't like you" game in that you make a card that combos or in synergistic with the previous card. If there's a counterspell, you make a "whenever a spell is countered" card. If there's a card with counters, you make a "cards with counters" card.

Very poor wording on this ability. Whenever is a triggered ability that goes on the stack AFTER the event occurs. A replacement ability stops the effect from happening and replaces it. So if you wanted it to be a triggered ability, you would say:
"Whenever you gain life, you may put a 1/1 white Citizen creature token into play for each life you gained."
For replacement:
"If you would gain life, you may put a 1/1 white Citizen creature token into play instead."
This however would turn "gain 3 life." into "put 1 token into play." So if you want a token per life gained, it would read:
"If you would gain life, you may put a 1/1 white Citizen creature token into play instead for each life."
Yea, that last one seems like it could be worded better.
