Welcome to Enter the Dungeon, the community Player-versus-Environment experience!
The game is simple. You design cards and make choices for the group of heroes, who will enter one of five dungeons and try to defeat its terrible boss monster - all while facing the villain's minions and sub-bosses.
This is not your normal game of Magic. The heroic player will play by the normal rules using the cards you design for them, but the dungeon deck is a challenge of a different kind.
First Tasks:
To start the game choose one of five possible destinations.
The heroic player has forgotten to decide which cards to put into their deck! Up to seven card designs will end up in their starting hand. (Unused card designs are shuffled into the library for later use. The heroic player needs lands to play their cards.)
Anyone at any time can make decisions and/or design a card. I'll check in at irregular intervals and progress the game to the next step. The input is processed and the game proceeds based on a weighed analysis favoring chronologically earlier posts. No promises regarding unbiased play are made.
Phyrexian Factory
Land (R) T: Add C to your mana pool. T, Tap an untapped artifact or creature you control: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
A cold breeze makes you shiver. Somewhere in this vast field the villain is hiding, ruling these conquered estates with an iron fist. Let's see how they will fare once they face the literal iron fist of the progress engine.
The dungeon map is revealed:
***Villain turn 1
The villain plays a Plains and taps it to cast Mesa Pegasus using additional mana from their magic reserve.
Sword to Plowshares would not be cast and is moved from the dungeon map to the hidden hand.
The villain ends their turn.
***Heroic turn 1
The heroes have Phyrexian Factory and six other cards in their hand. The heroes draw a card.
The heroes try to come up with a card of their own. They think of Haunted Cadaver - but it seems not useful.
The heroes consider playing Phyrexian Factory, then ending their turn...
Tasks:
Design seven more cards for the heroes to use.
There is a winged horse incoming! I hope, we can handle this.

Crossbow Engine1
Artifact Creature - Archer (C)
When Crossbow Engine enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage to target creature with flying. Always pointed up.
1/1
Pestilential Nursery
Land (R)
Pestilential Nursery enters the battlefield tapped unless you have Pestilential Nursery enter the battlefield with a depletion counter on it. T: Add C to your mana pool. T: Add G or U to your mana pool. If Pestilential Nursery has a depletion counter on it, you lose 1 life.
Shieldcrawler KrasisGU
Creature - Turtle Crocodile (U)
Trample, hexproof "The hard part was deciding on a name. My 'terrorpin' proposal got shot down." - Gulistan, Simic biomancer
2/2
Armor-Stretcher Crusader3
Artifact Creature - Knight (R)
Armor-Stretcher Crusader can block an additional creature.
Whenever a creature blocks or becomes blocked by two or more creatures, put a +1/+1 counter on Armor-Stretcher Crusader. (This happens before combat damage is dealt.) Built to guard, but with a love of brave gestures all its own.
1/2
Due to the way I format my posts any update will often depict old images for a minute or two after a new post goes up before editing the post - I'm not certain whether there is a better way to do this.
Galloping past the falllen body of their winged sibling the unicorns encircle the heroes.
The heroes do not block and lose 2 life.
The villain ends their turn.
***Heroic turn 3
The heroes untap, then draw a card.
The heroes now have in hand: Astrologer's Tower, Puresteel Fountain, Armor-Stretcher Crusader, Endless Wall and two other cards.
The heroes play Astrologer's Tower and scry 1:
The heroes decide to put unknown card on the bottom of the deck.
The heroes tap out to cast Armor-Stretcher Crusader.
The villain attempts to react from the hidden hand... moves a Resurrection from the hidden hand to the dungeon map.
The heroes end their turn.
***Villain turn 4
The villain untaps, then draws a card to its hidden hand and a Wrath of God to the revealed map.
I think the right move is to block a single Unicorn with the Crossbow Engine and the Shieldcrawler Krasis, and the other with the Armor-Stretcher Crusader alone.
Marble Garden
Land (R)
Marble Garden enters the battlefield tapped unless you have less life than your starting life total. T: Add G or W to your mana pool.
Shrug at Threats2G
Instant (R)
Creatures you control gain indestructible and hexproof until end of turn.
Flashback 6WU
The heroes decide to block a single Pearled Unicorn with the Crossbow Engine and the Shieldcrawler Krasis, and the other with the Armor-Stretcher Crusader alone.
The villain attempts to react from the hidden hand... moves two Plains and a Wrath of God from the hidden hand to the dungeon map.
Turmoil and screams as the beasts crash into each other. The horns of the villain's minions draw blood from the krasis, but scrape without effect over the armor of the mechanical knight.
The Armor-Stretcher Crusader receives a +1/+1 counter becoming 2/3.
Lethal damage has been dealt to both attackers and Shieldbreaker Krasis. They die.
The villain ends their turn.
***Heroic turn 4
The heroes untap, then draw a card.
The heroes now have Endless Wall, Puresteel Fountain, Marble Garden, Shrug at Threats and one other card in hand.
The heroes play Marble Garden untapped.
The heroes consider further actions...
Tasks:
Design some more cards for the heroes to use.
Decide whether to cast any spells.
Decide whether to attack the villain.

So... I went with the instant speed option since nothing else would get played before the next stop anyway. Weirdly the Charm came out all without the line to choose two modes at once, so only one of the three modes of Azure Charm will be available.
The heroes play Puresteel Fountain.
The villain attempts to react from the hidden hand... moves a Plains from the hidden hand to the dungeon map.
The heroes did not make the decision to attack.
The villain taps a Plains to add one white mana to their mana reserve.
The heroes end their turn with Shrug at Threats, Endless Wall and Azure Charm in hand.
***Villain turn 5
The villain untaps, then draws a card to their hidden hand and a White Knight to the revealed map.
Eldrazi Ritual (Common) C
Sorcery

Sky Reaper (Mythic) 7G
Creature - Spider
1/10
Reach, Deathtouch
Other Spider creatures you control have reach and deathtouch. B: Exile target card from a graveyard. If it was a creature card, put a 1/2 green Spider creature token onto the battlefield.
Exile target creature, then return that card to the battlefield under its owner’s control.
Target creature gains flying until end of turn.
Draw a card.
Small alterations like this can happen and have happened before - this time was the first time I felt like it was important to point out the change since it would directly influence your options for blocking.
The sky goes dark and a terrible wind rises like the voice of an angry god. No, not like the voice of a god. A ray of energy pierces through the clouds and cleanses the plains below. Only time to do one thing... cast one spell... one spell would be all it takes though.
In reaction the heroes cast Shrug at Threats.
The villain attempts to react from the hidden hand... moves Savannah Lions from the hidden hand to the dungeon map.
Tap Pestilential Nursery to cast Azure Charm, targeting Armor-Stretcher Crusader with the blink mode, in response to the Swords. We'll lose the +1/+1 counters but I think preserving something that we can easily turn back into a big threat is a good move.
The heroes fortify Marble Garden with Puresteel Fountain tapping the other two untapped lands for mana.
The villain taps two Plains to add two white mana to their mana reserve.
The heroes end their turn.
*** Villain turn 7
The villain untaps, then draws a card to their hidden hand and Miniboss Serra Angel to the revealed map.
The villain plays a Plains, then taps four Plains and casts Wrath of God destroying Armor-Stretcher Crusader.
The charm had kept the artficial knight around, but in the end it never was meant to be. The sky ripped open once again to unleash destruction upon the construct. A greater power had warned them off once, but this second time came without warning.
