This month we shall wallow in the nostalgia boom of Dominaria, visiting sites, cultures and events across the plane of Magic's birth.
Challenge
Design three cards:
A rare Legendary sorcery in both of the colors chosen for your original card. This should show an event from Dominaria's past.
An uncommon Legendary creature that is two colors, and neither of the colors used above. This legend should be a descendant (literal or ideological) of one of the uncommon Legends from Legends.
A common card that is the last unused color and which uses the "historic" term in its rules text.

Hemlock
void_nothing
In sum you should use all five colors, once each.
The creature does not have to be the exact same colors as its "ancestor" from Legends, but can be if you like.
PLEASE NOTE: This month will continue the use of the "Mandatory Top 3 Rule." For this month, you must submit a Top 3 during a round's critique period in order to receive any points for the round. Submitting critiques as well will be worth 2 bonus points in the round.
Your submissions are due Tuesday, April 24th, 23:59 PST.
Your judgments are due Thursday, April 26th, 23:59 PST.
Schedule
• Top 4 — Open to top 4 finishers from last round (April 20th-24th)
• Top 4 Critiques (Due April 26th)
• Final (End of month, winner determined by public poll)
Bolas' Devastating Duel3UB
Legendary Sorcery (R) (You may cast a legendary sorcery only if you control a legendary creature or planeswalker.)
Exile target legendary creature or planeswalker. Draw cards equal to it's power or loyalty. Centuries ago, a dragon leveled a continent before feasting on his rival.
The Lord of the Mountain3GR
Legendary Creature - Giant Warrior (U)
When The Lord of the Mountain enters the battlefield, name a creature card.
Whenever the named creature enters the battlefield or attacks, you may have The Lord of the Mountain fight that creature. Little did he know when he called the Lady's given name, her cursed vigil would become his.
5/5
Lost in AweW
Enchantment - Aura (C)
Enchant creature
As long you control a historic permanent, enchanted creature can't attack or block. (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic.) Reverence and wonder are keener weapons then any sword.
In case the Legendary Sorcery prompt is too hard, here are some ideas that I thought would fit for the others.
Hemlock GU - Multani's transplant of part of Yavimaya to Urborg, Freyalise's Worldspell that ended the Ice Age, Karona's mana draining
void_nothing WB - Yawgmoth's twisted healing, Urza's sacrifice of other planeswalkers to destroy Phyrexia (not exactly on Dominaria but close enough), Dakkon's forging of the Blackblade
mirrodin71 UR - Teferi's phasing out of Zhalfir and Shiv, Jhoira's recovery of Teferi's spark (not sure how that happened yet), Gatha's experimentation on the Keldons
Of course don't feel restricted to these if you have another idea, just wanted to give ideas if the lore hurdle was too much. The one Icarii chose was actually the first thing that came to mind for his colors for me too
It's just a clarification of the prompt with flavor background, which is not really what we are trying to directly test here. Not everyone has knowledge of Dominarian history offhand.
If you'd like me to provide more prompts for you I'm happy to do so, but as I said you already picked the one that I thought was best for your colors. I'm sorry if you took time to research that.
Unseen Foundation3UR
Legenday Sorcery (M) (You may cast a legendary sorcery only if you control a legendary creature or planeswalker.)
Add U for each instant card in your graveyard, then, add R for each sorcery card in your graveyard. Exile Unseen Foundation.
Nima Boreal2WG
Legendary Creature - Human Druid (U)
Nima Boreal gets +1/+1 for each enchantment on the battlefield.
Sacrifice an enchantment: Regenerate target permanent. (The next time this would be destroyed this turn, it isn’t. Instead tap it.)
2/2
Magus's Fail1BB
Sorcery (C)
All creatures get -1/-1. If You control a historic permanent they get an additional -1/-1. (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic.) "A mistake can be excusable and even easy to forget; cling to this, ever."
If your prompt asks us to create a card based of a storyline event, I feel it's important that we as players are given the opportunity to do our own research and potentially make our own mistakes with our choices. I started playing magic after the game shifted focus from Dominaria and for these challenges and others that have referenced the plane I've had to research and make decisions on my own. Sometimes that's included flavor misses. Other players should have to do the same work I do.
Providing me additional options after I've done the work and made a decision doesn't really balance that out. In the future I'd ask that you either provide equal support to everyone upfront or don't offer additional help.

For what it's worth, I immediately thought you could also have done a UB legendary sorcery of Szat's betrayal or Urza and Mishra finding the Thran stones in Koilos when I saw the challenge. If you like either of those ideas or something completely different you've still got time to change your card.
It is technically unfair to give prompts to some contestants but not others, but I don't think it's especially bad in this instance since the unprompted contestant already finished his entry. Anyway, I already feel/felt obligated to use something totally original, so hey.
Harbin's Discovery3UG
Legendary Sorcery (m) (You may cast a legendary sorcery only if you control a legendary creature or planeswalker.)
Put up to one land card, up to one creature card and up to one enchantment card from your hand into the battlefield. The richness of Argoth will also be its doom.
Habar Wauki, Master Longbowman1RW
Legendary Creature - Human Archer (u)
First strike 1W: Target creature can block an additional creature this turn. 1R: Habar Wauki, Mastrr Longbowman deals 1 damage to each blocked creature.
2/4
Uneducated Masses4B
Creature - Human (c)
Hexproof from historic (This creature can't be the target of historic spells or abilities your opponents control)
They lived in the deepest of poverties, For them, nothing is sacred.
4/4
Sorry for the trouble, I was concerned that it was a bit too much "gatekeeping" to expect everyone to know all this background. Some people have the time or the desire to delve into the wiki and read about that stuff, and some don't, I just wanted to make it more accessible so people could focus on card-making, not homework. Also sorry if posting ideas made everyone feel obligated to do something different. I'll be consistent one way or the other if it comes up in the future.
Selenia's Reprobate Stewardship2WB
Legendary Sorcery (R)
Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature and that creature gains indestructible until end of turn. Creatures you control get +1/+2 until end of turn for each +1/+1 counter on that creature. Creatures your opponents control get -2/-1 until end of turn for each +1/+1 counter on that creature. Centuries ago, a grimly courageous soul careened to ruinous obsession with an emissary of dark powers.
Bolgring Gjornersen, Robaran Ransacker2GU
Legendary Creature - Human Pirate (U)
Whenever Bolgring Gjornersen, Robaran Ransacker becomes blocked, draw four cards.
Whenever a creature you control attacks and isn't blocked, spells you cast that target creatures cost 1 less to cast until end of turn. As a companion, he's short on charm but long on brilliant plans.
2/2
Scrounger Hearth-Runt1R
Creature - Dragon (C)
Whenever a historic card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, Scrounger Hearth-Runt gets +1/+0 until end of turn. R: Scrounger Hearth-Runt gains flying until end of turn. RR: Scrounger Hearth-Runt gains trample until end of turn. One day it might amass enough of other dragons' cast-offs to have a proper hoard.

IcariFA:
Bolas Devastating Duel: This is quite tricky to balance: In one hand, we have a conditional removal with very narrow application to will get the crap rare stamp at once, in the other, we have a commander hosser with a potentially very high pay-off that makes you want to try it. Brawl format would be the best home for this of course so, with the right PR (Maybe as an extra in PW decks) this can become very liked.
Lord of the Mountain: Those legends have littl mechanic identity, so going with flavor was the way to ho most of the time. I like the reverse-titan effect and the fact that it can be triggered by your opponent's decisions. It's very fortunate that you included the "card" clause, otherwise it would have been devastating against tokens.
Lost in awe: This type of effect demands a certain reliability to be useful. If someone blasted ypur only historic permanent you'd be virtually two-for-zeroed. I don't think anyone would pick this over the alternatives.
Mirrodin
Unseen Foundation: I think it's just too narrow and too limited to find a home in decks that would want this type of effect. High cost, sorery speed and Legendariness all conspire against the reliability of this card.
Nima Boreal: Yavimaya Enchantress plus a very intresting upside for those colors looks neat. The regeneration might need to be replaced by indestructibility to krep up with today standards.
Magus Fail: The histpric bonus getd very dramatic with this. Given the limitations of mass removal in pauper thin can hit a sweet spot and get played.
Voidnothing:
Selenia's Reprobate Stewardship: I'm not sure about it, it's a zealous prosucetor with an extra counter and indestructible in the worst scenario and a game-winning effect in the next. The numbers are a bit unelegant.
Bolgring Gjornerser: I always loved Saprazzn Heir and the extra clause is a very nice fit with it.
Svrounger Hearth-runt: A bit too much going on for a common. Too odd and with a too complex exploitability. Looks very fun but not really common material imho.
Unseen Foundation: Probally only moderate usueful in EDH. A little clunky in its application and cost leaves something desired. Doesn't feel like a legendary spell based on what we have so far.
Nima Boreal: Regenarte is old fashioned and should be replaced. Would create a decent limited archetype. Solid, but not particularly fresh.
Magus Fail: Strictly worse infest at common isn't terrible. Probably would make a more interesting uncommon at BB. Flavor text feels incomplete.
Hemlock -
Harbin's Discovery: I think this feels like what a legendary sorcery should do. It does something slightly new but familiar while feeling grand. Not sure if this should cost 6. I'd adjust the flavor text to match the format we have so far for legendary spells.
Habar Wauki: Good synergy of abilities. Pretty aggressive stats for three. Probably needs to cost 4. Slows down games since it really is hard to attack into this in limited.
Uneducated Masses: I thought about using Hexproof from historic too, so I'm glad someone tried to use it. I think the reminder text needs to clarify what historic spells are. Not sure about the flavor of "nothing is sacred" equates to hexproof. The idea of this in black is interesting.
void_nothing -
Selenia's Reprobate Stewardship. The effect is inelegant, but the idea is interesting enough. I think sticking to +1/+1 and -1/-1 would help things, as would combining the clauses a little. I like that you stuck the flavor format of current legendary spells, but your choice of diction is overly elevated making it cumbersome.
Bolgring Gjornersen: For newer players, this may be a little unclear how to best use. For more experience players, it has a lot of subte applications for both applying spells to buff your creatures or to destroy/debuff your opponents. It's an interesting idea, but I feel like the numbers are a little all over the place. It does encourage some tough choices from your opponent when it attacks.
Scrounger Heart-Runt: Im not sure on the value the historic ability gives. Feel like it would make a better uncommon
IcariiFA - Bolas's Devastating Duel is perfect. A great representation with an A+ effect (if a bit derivative of Yawgmoth's Vile Offering. LotM is a great commander-killer but slightly boring (but hey, he's uncommon). A definite Mel AND Vorthos card. Lost in Awe seems like total chaff as a semi-do nothing card but again great flavor.
mirrodin71 - Unseen Foundation is cool flavorwise but doesn't really feel blue and might be too safely costed. Nima Boreal reminds me of Shanna, Sisay's Legacy and feeldls maybe TOO old school, counting all enchantments and using regenerate. Magus's Fail is serviceable but I don't get the flavor too well.
Hemlock - Three home runs. Harbin's Discovery is strong build-around (but needs a third word in the name! ), Seems like a chase rare, might need to self exile to prevent abuse? Habar Wauki is Chinese-menu but sublimely done. I love Archers. Uneducated Masses has spot-on flavor, an amazing trinket texty beater.

Uneducated Masses: I thought about using Hexproof from historic too, so I'm glad someone tried to use it. I think the reminder text needs to clarify what historic spells are. Not sure about the flavor of "nothing is sacred" equates to hexproof. The idea of this in black is interesting.
Feel like it would make a better uncommon

mirrodin71 - Unseen Foundation is cool flavorwise but doesn't really feel blue and might be too safely costed.
