This card wows me! Very cool I like everything about it, except the rarity. This doesn't feel like an uncommon at all. Still, awesome flavor, awesome card!

All hail croissant block.
I'm really surprised people disagree with the rarity here. The triggered ability is a very simple one, and the animation mechanic is no different than existing ones. To me the is right on par with the Urza's/10th manlands, and is certainly no more complicated than Phyrexian Totem. In Limited, it's comparable to Algae Gharial but more aggressively costed (because nobody wants a CotM that isn't aggresively costed) and more vulnerable to removal.
Personally I'm extremely happy with how this one turned out.
P.S. Did anyone else happen to notice one of the original mechanic submissions showed up in the Rise spoiler? I thought that was pretty darn cool.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
However, I would say that the wording (in my opinion) seems a bit off. It would make more sense for them to be charge counters, and " 1/1 creature that gains +1/+1 for each charge counter and intimidate until the end of the turn."
Unless you've already discussed that, in which case, do not mind the man behind the curtain...

Well the wording's similar to Raging Ravine, which also jumps in and out of creature form. Its much easier and shorter to just put the +1/+1 counters straight on it.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Ok, first of all, Siege-Gang Commander actually is The Messiah. Clearly he martyrs himself for the greater good of this deck, and he even inspires his apostles to do so as well. Ever seen SGC do 8 to someone's face in a board stall? That's like responding to Judas's betrayal by launching catapults loaded with Peter, Paul, John, and Jesus right at the Roman soldiers.
