Goblin Turncoat1R
Creature - Goblin (C)
Turncoat (Whenever a creature blocks or becomes blocked by this creature, exchange control of those creatures.)
2/2
Player A's Goblin Turncoat (with a +1/+1 counter on it) attacks Player B and is blocked by Player B's Goblin Turncoat. When the stack clears, who controls which Turncoat?
Two triggers both go off. The first one does and removes the combatants from combat, so both survive under their new controllers. Then the second one does and both players control their original.
Another question that might help fix the mirroring abilities: How should this interact with multiblocking?
Turncoat (Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked, exchange control of this creature and a creature blocking or blocked by it. This removes both of them from combat.)
Now when this creature is blocked by two or more creatures (maybe something like Lure is involved), you only make one exchange. When this creature blocks or is blocked by another creature with the same ability, the first exchange removes both of them from combat (because, like Goblin Cadets reminds, gaining control of an attacking or blocking creature another player controls naturally will remove it from combat) and they are no longer blocking or blocked by each, so the second exchange can't occur.
