Dual land are only natural and in my opinion necessary to the game, all the other lands after that are simply a weaker version dancing around various restriction to something that should be in every deck
there is a myth where people say dual land are strong...that is not true, the other non-basic lands are weak (mostly), weaker than basic land, that's why they seem strong, the reason why dual land is simple in design, it's because it's meant for the natural flow of the game at it's core
wotc made a terrible mistake of not reprinting them in every set, it should not be worth what it's worth today
the reserve list is bull*****, if we would all rally up togheter and force wotc to re-release the dual land they would, at the end of the day, it's business for them and no one wants angry customers, but most magic player are gullible and passive in nature
sure, a lot of people will lose money, well that's how gambling and playing stock works (sorry Rudy)
1. This isn't the place for reserve list discussion
2. Dual lands are almost always strictly better than basics. This makes for bad gameplay. There should be a drawback.
Perfect mana is not a thing you should have easily, otherwise 5C goodstuff decks would always be the right thing to play. The shocks are fine most of the time and especially in this format where the 3 for fetch shock is rarely relevant.
On top of that if the reserved list was done away with and all of it massively reprinted tomorrow, normal people still probably wouldn't get to see the cards as stores are likely to crack their own and horde the lands to keep prices high.

Your argument is you didn't buy something early enough and you want the company to break its promise to its customers that apparently have been around much longer than you have as customers?

The reserved list was first created in 1996. There are a lot of players, probably a majority if we're being honest as I don't know the exact statistics, that weren't even born yet when that happened. Really hard to buy something when you don't exist. The reserved list should never have been put in place to begin with, and its repeal is long overdue.

I played back then, and i saw the backlash chronicles had. i really believe, without the reserved list, magic would not be around today, because back then, collectors had a much higher percentage of the community than they have now.
So now you want wizards to break the promise they gave to people who in turn saved the game, because today they are not needed as much anymore? Sounds like a bad idea to me.
Instead, i would like them to print duals with a weakness that doesn´t matter as much, like comes into play tapped unless there are more than 90 cards left in your library or such things.
Funny you think that. I can easily say most of us who lived through those days wish they didn't create the reserved list because it slowly choked the cards and ideas trapped in it and has rendered legacy nearly impossible to play, let alone vintage. I'm basically stuck having to depend on custom prints on the older cards without having to use dusty weather beaten artifacts. We are actually at a point in MtG history where it is more cost effective and time effective to strip a common card and then have equipment set up to print a high resolution proxy than to purchase a real card.
Does that sound remotely playable to you? One Tabernacle is basically 2/3 or more of a salaried workers pay in two weeks that they probably have to use to pay for food, shelter, savings, etc.
