Last night, I opened a sealed booster of Legends I had obtained a while ago and instead of the usual three uncommons right after the one rare, there were THREE ADDITIONAL RARES!!! I wish I had filmed this opening and I do have 5 other people that can confirm this. My question to you is this: has anyone ever experienced anything like this with Legends boosters or has anyone heard of anything like this occurring before? Also, the front rare was a Horn of Deafening and the three extra rares were (in this order) Alchor's Tomb, Horn of Deafening (!), and Infinite Authority. Thank you!
Old packaging was full of errors such as this. I heard of an Alpha or Beta starter that was opened (think it was a video I saw) that was basically the same thing. It was all rares and basic lands instead of the normal distribution and the usual 3 rares. Quality control and the methods for packing just were not the same as today. Believe it or not Wizards has gotten better at at least a couple things along the way.

Actually back then the starter decks only had 2 rares.
