I am trying to find a card. It has been ages since I last played MTG, at leat 8 years, so that can maybe narrow the search... I dunno. I went looking for my old deck at my mom's place because I wanted to play with some friends online through our cameras for old times sake but I discovered she had given them all away.
I am trying to find a card that I valued a lot back then, I remember it was a dragon (kind of, the name didnt say dragon, but the illustration kinda looked like one) and that it required 2 of each types of land to be summoned. I dont remember what it did but I do remember it was amazing as it needed so many lands to be summoned lol
Maybe it isnt much info but I'm hoping you can help me, thanks in advance!
Im afraid that is not the card :/ I read about that one and apparently it is from 2017, mine was a tad more older, maybe like 5-10 years older. Do you have any other suggestions by any chance?
While you don't give a lot of information, "needing 2 of each color mana to cast" narrows things down immensely. That is, there is only one thing in the entire game that fits this criteria: Progenitus. And it was first printed in Conflux in 2009 which is 12 years ago now. Without more information, this appears to be exactly the card you are looking for.
Progenitus click on the card link, it has more artwork.
Maybe you had the FromTheVault Progenitus, which has a more impactfull artwork.
If its a dragon you are looking for, you can simply browse over a search of that with card art and just quickly find what you think it is.
Scryfall , Advanced Search and pick Creature types and manacost.
Or just put directly in the advanced search bar:
type:dragon cmc>5 (rarity:r OR rarity:m)
Can also just search for any rare/mythic creature with a manacost >= 6 and check it out, its a bunch sure, but you get a very enjoyable watch on lots of cards with less effort.
Thanks everyone!!! I noticed TheOnlyOne652089 is right, you had the right card Rosy and WizardMN! It was the art that was different, I googled the "From the Vault Progenitus" card and it was precisely that one. Sorry if I caused too much trouble and again thanks for the prompt response from everyone!

It soften easier to simply see the card.

The only older card that looks like a dragon but isn't a dragon that has all five colors from that time period would likely be Cromat. Is that it?
