It seems people regard this card as bad for some reason. Unless I didn't understand the meaning of the text as well as I thought, if you find a way to donate the card to your opponent, they will have to exile an increasing number of cards each turn (based on the number of age counters on the card), which sounds pretty OP to me. Assuming 60 cards a deck, they won't have a lot of turns left before they lose, no matter when you donated them the card.
Mostly because there are infinitely more efficient combos with Donate, as well as infinitely more efficient mill combos? It will take a while for Thought Lash to kill whomever's holding it. If that's your only plan to win you'll be dead long before that. Even if you stick your opponent with it while it has, say, three age counters (already a long time to wait to combo out) it'll still then only exile four cards their following upkeep.
I think, it's mostly because the player still does have quite a number of turns left. Just look at how many cards are gone after each turn: 1-3-6-10-15-21-28-36-45. Even with a 60 card deck, that's 9 full turns to win the game, more than enough. You don't really impact his draws, at least not from a fully randomized library, though library manipulation on his part is messed with. At least on its own, that card combination is way too slow to achieve a milling victory. Even if you can donate a second copy, that's still at least 5 turns to either win the game or get rid of it. Considering that in most games a player has about 8-10 turns max, even with a 5 turn clock, it's likely that they can win by just playing as if nothing happened.
