You played JESUS?!?! I heard none of his guys stay in the graveyard, and once you think you have him beat he ALWAYS comes back to win within three turns. I like...WORSHIP him.
I think speculating on card price fluctuations as if you're playing the stock market is, in general, unwise.
An "investment" is something that appreciates value slowly over time, but is almost guaranteed to do so.
Buying up a commodity hoping for a near term "quick flip" is not an investment, it's gambling.
Too high a risk for too little reward, at least for me.

Absolutely mate. The context is, of course, not a quick flip, but more of a long term.

Looks at chainer, dementia master, one of the better MBC commanders from over 10 years ago who reanimates to the field without CMC restrictions and creates infinite loops... costs $4-5.
Looks at Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, another solid Orzhov commander who slots nicely into aristocrats and lifegain and who has been out for 5 years... costs $1.50
Soo... how much do you want to invest and how much do you think you can move? I don’t see making more than $2-3 profit per card in the future (at peak pricing) as particularly likely. Maybe if a new card is printed (like a cmc 1 cleric that can self-sac at sorcery speed to create an unearth effect) that allows for infinite combos, you might see a spike of sorts... but it’s still a matter of how many you could realistically sell.

Basically, I think Orah, Skyclave Hierophant (Buy a Box) is kinda undervalued right now. Graveyard recursion is great, even better a repeatable one.
I know it's lesser CMC each time, but still, I think it has potential to get a significant price increase.
So, I'm thinking about investing / buying some playsets of it (especially the Foil Full Art version).
What do you guys think?
