It only works with sacrifices that cause triggered abilities so in your example no as Feaster of Fools has a replacement ability rather than a triggered ability. If you were to sacrifice Torchlight Fiend to Feaster of Fools ability though the Torchlight Fiends triggered ability would occur twice.
Also, the event of the creature going to the graveyard from the battlefield (aka "dying") has to be what causes the ability to trigger. So this includes triggers that go off specifically by a creature dying, and triggers that go off by a creature leaving the battlefield (if it happens to go to the graveyard), like with Thragtusk. It does not include things like Bloodbriar.
From Teysa's gatherer rulings
1/25/2019 An ability that triggers when a creature “leaves the battlefield” will trigger twice if that creature leaves the battlefield by dying.
1/25/2019 An ability that triggers on an event that causes a creature to die doesn’t trigger twice. For example, an ability that triggers “whenever you sacrifice a creature” triggers only once.
