Sorry for the spam, but can i check what happens if I already have an escaped Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath in play, then I play another URo from hand for the growth spiral effect? Do I need to sacrifice the Uro I have in play due to the legendary rule? Or can I just let the newly-cast Uro go to the graveyard and keep the one I already have in play?
When applying the legend rule in this scenario (assuming the new Uro enters the battlefield under your control), you choose which Uro to put in the graveyard and which to keep on the battlefield (C.R. 704.5j). But note that since the new Uro didn't escape (since you cast it from your hand) (C.R. 702.138b), you must sacrifice it (if possible) when its first ability resolves.
In general, if a legendary permanent named Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath enters the battlefield under your control while you control one or more others, the new Uro's first two abilities will trigger, then all but one of those permanents (of your choice) go to the graveyard as a state-based action due to the legend rule (this is not the same as a sacrifice, however), then the abilities that triggered this way go on the stack in the order of your choice (C.R. 117.3b, 117.5, 704.5j, 702.49a; review C.R. 701.17a). (Note that both abilities, in particular the second, will get to resolve no matter what happens to the new Uro [C.R. 113.7a]). See also this thread.
EDIT (Feb. 29): Correctness edit.
EDIT (Mar. 22, 2022): Some rules were renumbered in the meantime.

The legend rule does not count as a sacrifice.
When you control two or more legendary permanents with the same name, you can choose any one of them to keep, and the rest goes to the graveyard. You're not forced to select the newest or the oldest.
You can choose to keep the one that was already on the battlefield.
