So the question is: lets say I have 4 Panharmonicons on the field and then play a Brass Herald, because of the wording of rulings I have found on other sites would I be able to pick a new creature type each time and would each creature type I pick get the +1/+1??
The "choose a creature type" ability is a static ability creating a replacement effect. Panharmonicon does not interact with that at all. So you choose one creature type as the Herald enters, then get 5 triggers due to the four Panharmonicons, getting you all creature cards of the single chosen type from among the top 20 cards of your library into your hand.
